Usually, it is better to just send a PM to ask for instructions. Bump old topics only when you have something important to add.

Sure. Time invested in making a good post usually results in more interaction. Good luck with the project -

Steam Gauntlet
Milan replied to Archivolt's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
When presenting a model, try to make the presentation a bit more descriptive and include a few images, especially when advertising the Ideas page for it. Great crane! -
There are two knobs on the cabin, which operate the steering. When you use knob 1, it controls the steering of axle 1. When you use knob 2, it controls the steering of axle 2. All five axles are connected via the black bar shown in the second picture. So, four steering modes are possible: When you use ONLY knob 1, it steers axle 1, but (due to the long black beam connecting all the axles) also axle 2, and axle 3 to some extent. When you use ONLY knob 2, it steers axle 5, but (due to the long black beam connecting all the axles) also axle 4, and axle 3 to some extent. When you use BOTH knob 1 AND knob 2, you get the opposite steering. When you use BOTH knob 1 AND knob 2 (but in the opposite direction from case 3), you get crab steering.

Lego Seats
Milan replied to 88high's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
We will leave this open if someone has anything to show. On the other hand, why don't you create a WIP topic for your car? That way, you can showcase it, including the seats, and people can jump in to help improve it if needed. -
Lego Seats
Milan replied to 88high's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Better practice might be to bump topics with something that adds to the conversation, like presenting your (or someone else's) seat design you like. We will leave this open for now, but please bump only when you have something important to add. -
Push Mower Issues
Milan replied to Paul B Technic's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
If the attachment needs to be fixed to the truck (without swiveling), then maybe you can use one of these two solutions: 1. You can leave it as is, and instead of the current wheels, add a set of swivel wheels, like those on the shopping carts: They will allow for the attachment to move together with the truck, and the axle that is powering the attachment can be routed via the truck's back axle. 2. You can leave it as is, and instead of the current wheels, add a set of steering wheels. Their steering angle should be larger than that of the truck's front axle. -

Do you want the attachment to remain fixed relative to the truck? -

2429 and 2430 are still the only two hinge plate parts available on Bricklink. Also in MLCAD. On a side note, when you want to insert a picture in your post, do not upload it directly to Eurobricks. Upload it on any image hosting site, and then just paste the link in your post. The picture will be shown here. Good luck with the moc!

2024 Technic Sets Discussion
Milan replied to Ngoc Nguyen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It was not Jim. I've edited your post to remove quoted pictures. Quoting pictures, especially from the same page, makes the whole page cluttered and harder to follow the topic. No probs, we are here to help and to keep things clean -

@Rolic Can you add some photos to the post, so we can put the model on the Eurobrick's front page? You need to link photos from Flickr. (EB does not host images). -
Hello @PetaS We would also love for you to follow the forum rules, which you agreed to upon registering. There, you agreed not to create topics for promoting Ideas entries. You have even managed to post the same promotional topics in five different forums on EB, which is considered spamming. Please re-read the rules. I will remove the links from your topics. Thanks.
