  1. Well done. Frontpaged. (And placed one of the more striking images at the top, for the purposes of frontpaging)
  2. Always @ for quicker response, guys. Yeah, 3D printed parts are becoming more prevalent, and they will be even more prominent in the future. Let me discuss with the staff to figure out the best way to bring together all the 3D printed parts topics into one place.
  3. Yeah, the theme for this contest is set and it will start soon But... For sure, we always love to hear suggestions and ideas for future contests
  4. Discussing non-LEGO brands is okay in the Community section of the Forum. Even then, we try to avoid discussing controversial ones, which Mouldking might very well be. It is acceptable to ask a question there about a specific part, though. Do not tell other members what to do. We have been through this before. MK being your personal enemy is not a reason to be impolite. As we agreed, use the report button if there is something you think is wrong. The staff has been getting reports from members for a while now, about this topic being hostile and aggressive with replies, remarks and even insults. Once again, let's all try to be polite to each other. Otherwise, there is no point in keeping the topic open if we cannot maintain basic courtesy.
  5. This topic is dedicated to discussions about LEGO events related to Technic creations, sets and meetings. Whether it's an upcoming Technic exhibition, a workshop, or any other Technic-related event, including privately organized ones, feel free to share the details here. You can also discuss your experiences from past events, share event photos, and connect with fellow LEGO Technic enthusiasts. General rules: This space is for events only. Please focus on Technic-only events. It's acceptable to discuss events where Technic is present, but the primary focus should be on Technic. Commercial discussions, including the sale of instructions and models, are not allowed. All other rules follow EB's general rules.
  6. Right now, it indeed seems like the topic is made to promote instructions, rather then the model itself, which is not what EB is for. So, let's start again. I have hidden all the replies discussing the presentation (sorry for this guys), and it would be great if you could edit the first post, and made a proper presentation about your Lego model, not about your app or instructions. Tell us about your build, inspiration, building process, its challenges, what you like on it, what not and so on...everything you would want to read on someone else's MOC topic.
  7. It's always nice to see tracks built like that. I've used the same system in some of my builds, but in black, and inserted rubber track pieces in the middle to allow some stretch and maintain tension on the tracks. The turret is impressive as well. It seems you have captured the iconic shape of the T90's turret beautifully.
  8. Will talk to the staff, and see what can be done.
  9. Drama, as well as calling other members of the forum "fanboys" and "haters" is something we do not want on Eurobricks. Follow the rules of the forum, and use the report button if you believe something is wrong, instead of engaging.
  10. Let's steer clear of this. Posts like these, and several before, only stir up conflict and drama, leading the staff to question the purpose of this topic and discouraging us from expanding it further. Again, this is a LEGO forum, and this topic is dedicated to discussing CaDA. Let's keep it that way.
  11. Eurobricks is a LEGO forum, and this a topic to discuss Cada. @Lipko is free to present his views, and also criticism in this topic, just as others are free to share their views, and also criticism on other topics on Eurobricks. Also, Jmordoj, do not tell members what to do. If you notice something you believe is wrong, use the report button. To all: this is a Cada topic, with the same rules as the rest of Eurobricks. All members of the forum can freely share their views, praises, or criticisms regarding Cada in this topic. That's why we made it. Keep it respectful, civil, and constructive.
  12. Please do not quote videos and images from the same page, and please use proper punctuation and capital letters. Thanks.
  13. Hello Werner, Welcome to EB. Please take some time and familiarize yourself with the site rules. We do not encourage self promotion posts. But we hope you will have a great time discussing other topics on EB.
  14. I wouldn't view it as a one-time event. Model Team is a part of this forum, just like Technic. Similarly, as we have regular Technic contests, we should also consider having Model Team, Scale Modeling, and Mindstorms contests from time to time. Of course, the ratio should be based on popularity and interest in these themes. I agree. Perhaps we could consider the number of Model Team MOCs that have been posted on the forum in the last year, compared to the number of Technic MOCs (even though the line between them is sometimes thin). If the ratio is, let's say, 1:15, then every fifteenth contest could be a Model Team contest.
  15. Eurobricks member brickphisto created the topic [MOC] Mini 5580 Highway Rig [free instructions]. Click on the link or on the image to visit this featured topic.
  16. Congratulations to the winners, and to all who participated in what turned out to be one of the best Technic contests ever. And, of course, thank you @Jim for all your work, and to the judges for casting their votes. It was incredibly hard to make the list.
  17. @Bublehead As you had agreed with the forum staff during your time in the forum's chamber, refrain from creating topics of this nature. If you have suggestions or complaints, post them in the appropriate discussion threads.
  18. Please double check your entry posts to make sure everything is according to the requirements, before we close the topic.
  19. I never thought we would come to this kind of discussion here And I certainly do not appreciate a confrontational path with Jim, who has been doing this for a decade in his free time, organizing everything here, answering questions, and engaging in discussions, always maintaining professionalism and politeness, and always being "one of us". Not to mention all the behind-the-scenes tasks, like his constant lobbying for us to receive all those nice sets for prizes, to receive free shipping to the winners, and sometimes even using money from his own pocket for shipping, or sending his own private sets as prizes, as well as responding to all the private content-related PMs, emails, or DMs on other platforms. So, please, before this goes any further, let's slow down and appreciate what we have here. Let's value Jim's effort and just have fun creating new models, solving building challenges, and showing our creations to others. In short, enjoy the contest
  20. We try not to endorse other brands on the Technic forum, so we'll move this to the community section, where such discussion is okay.
