  1. Of the ones I have (Pohatu, Lewa and Kopaka), Kopaka's is the one I like the most
  2. I'm more bothered by his really short lower legs and the way the arms are a bit limited for posing
  3. Nice! Only thing I can really critique is his upper legs as I think the longer red shells there would help fill it out and make the transision from thigh to calf better. I like the brick built head also!
  4. Very nice! I like the cheerful colours, its nice to see something that uses pleasant colours (not overly dark or overly vibrant) and the details and designs used throughout are great! It has quite a bit of texture but doesnt feel at all cluttered. good show!
  5. Fantastic work! Really like it
  6. Thanks for the review! In absence of a historical theme and because I now have my sister's lego (she's gone into a dark age) which contains some elves stuff as an introduction for me I am now rather tempted by these sets...
  7. I have all of these other than the Cinema as to me it seems rather bland. The Restaurant I feel is better than the Detective's Office, but the Pet Shop is older and so if you like that one its probably worth getting it. You get 2 buildings so it gives you more varience in the exterior designs and they can both operate as stand alones with a smaller foot print, so if you wanted you could split them up into different places or different shelves if you're short for space. They loose out in comparison to the Parisian Restaurant due to planer interiors but I feel they work well regardless.
  8. Well yesterday I got Pohatu and I think that's it as far as this current wave goes. I now have Uxar, Lewa, Kopaka and Melum, Umarak and Pohatu. Unlike last year where I got them all I'm unsure about the rest despite them coming with some interesting parts. Does anyone think there're any others worth getting?
  9. Must've taken a while to get the design just right, it looks spot on!
  10. Impressive how you made it out of only 2 sets and made it look good at the same time! nice!
  11. Nice! Looks great. Are those hair pieces representing bird's nests in the trees?
  12. I know nothing about DBZ but those hair pieces make me think of good old Exo Force
  13. Hah! Another great review, I especially liked the Famous 1935 Bank/Washing Machine Incident of 1935 (and the fact that you linked music to go with it!) One thing I did notice though was that your baseplate seemed unfortunately warped D: but it seems to have flattened once everything else went on . Here's hoping you make another review soon! (and now i really need to get to bed what's wrong with me it's super late!)
  14. I just thought about how HUGE the rancor could/would be if it were scaled to Luke ! (crazy huge) I suggested a Gammorean guard cause i thought it'd turn out better than Malakili (that's the keepers name i think) because the keeper is human and shirtless so any CCBS attempt would be a bit uncanny !
  15. Oh yes I like that idea! I second for the rancor. Maybe a small gammorrean guard for it to eat to go with it !
  16. Nice! (and rather cute too!)
  17. Had a feeling someone would have! I haven't been following the Star Wars forum so I didn't know for sure :D
  18. Wait a minute I've noticed something I think but forgive me if I'm wrong or someone else has already pointed it out. One of the images show's the little command module (pic 12) with an orange/yellow sticker on the wall at the back. Another image (pic 4) shows sticking the Wampa "cave" right onto the other side of that wall. If I'm not mistaken that's a reference to this deleted scene where Threepio rips the sticker off the door and a snowtrooper gets mauled by the wampa inside-
  19. The front line with the mounted guns and satellite guns are nice and I like the mustachioed faces. The price though is staggering and the rest of the set doesn't have enough wow factor to justify it. For that price there should be an AT-ST in there somewhere as well...
  20. Just out of curiosity I'd like to see a Palpatine, his super wrinkles and chin and nose would probably lend themselves quite well to the face style. He'd also encoruage them to produce a new non-muscle non-armour part better suited to robes. Also a hood part would be nice. He could either be the RotJ version to complement Luke and Vader or that bright red version from RotS jut to break up the monotomy of black figures. Another one I would be interested to see would be Lando Calrissian just for his fancy cape and nice blue shirt. Realistically though I don't expect either to be made.
  21. Ah right. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lego-Bionicle-Protector-of-Jungle-/321988291569?hash=item4af7ff6bf1:g:hEgAAOSwX~dWpg6U There's this Ebay lot
  22. Have you tried Smyths? Online and instore, I have a branch by me that still has a couple of Hero Factory sets lying about. Smaller shops also tend to hold stock for longer too.
  23. The Protector of Jungle and Protector of Stone were pretty nice as well by the way
  24. Most impressive! I haven't seen anything like this done before so thats a bonus to the nice design!
  25. I don't normally buy them all at once but for Series 6 I had a bit of a worry that I would'nt be able to get them all as their availiability wasn't good around where I lived (or at least it didn't seem great). For Series 7 if I see them all I'll probably get them all just to be on the safe side, because I didnt do that last time and then I had to go hunting for 1 or 2 mixels all over the place.
