That would be nice as I'm sure the designers would need to make new feet and new hands amongst other things. I can't picture them thinking that a girl-targeted theme would be viable with figures using HF feet and fists for hands.

Well I just took advantage of some VIP rewards I had from buying modular buildings and bought Slicer, Warrior and MM v SG, the reason why I got them now was because of the pirate freebie that's on offer and seeing as its a good freebie to have and I have all the pirate sets (except the boat which I wasn't keen on- I have my own WIP anyways) I decided it'd be foolish to miss out. So they should arrive soonish and so I'm happy . What struck as I bought them though was how odd it is to be buying them before the surfacing of reviews here on EB. The reviews always seemed to be well in advance before, strange how TLG didn't dispatch any review copies for these, not that it matters much I intended to get them all.

Yes, but not as crazy as the price for them!

Yes that's what I thought when I saw it too, that it'd be very very surprising if it were true as 2 waves of villains back to back seems a bit silly.

Nice! If the inside is empty would it be possible to leave a gap at the top and make it a Piggy-bank (or rather Bear-bank)
-
Wow! Great, I haven't seen anything like this done before. Supported!

Ewwww. I completely agree with you Kalhiki

I have now got all the Mixels to date having got the last two I needed from series 5 today
-
haha JW Ultrabuilds would be novel, and the IFB beasts have shown how using minimal new parts along with pre-existing parts can still be done at reasonable price points to make acceptably full and bulky creatures

This is amazing! Really well done, very clever.

Dinos would be cool. On another note, I'm just looking through the Lego Catalog for the Summer that arrived in the post today. It's rather disappointing in the respect that despite it being for the whole Summer a few Summer waves like BIONICLE have been neglected completely, whilst old sets still linger. It's rather as expected though, and one can't blame a company for trying to get rid of old products before advertising a lot of new ones but...I don't think the Death Star needed half a page, or the Simpsons House, or Tower Bridge, or the Opera House or the Volkswagen or the Mini...in fact there were a lot of things they could have kept in but given a much smaller space...

Exterior and interior is great, love it! I do believe the shirt is from the Swashbuckler from a recent CMF series.

Very nice indeed!

Thanks for all these reviews!

Nice! Very clever use of what can be annoying items to have sitting around the place. They can still be reused for their original purpose like this too!
-
...or you could just make out that they're bolts or something similar, like common Frankenstein's Monster pictures have bolts in the head/neck and that...

Very nice! Fits in well with the theme and looks great. I'd rather get this than many of the official sets!

Does Lego still make road plates?
Mutant Orc replied to TheLegoPerson9's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yes they do. I've seen them in a Lego store and they're listed on the site- http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Straight-Crossroad-Plates-7280?_requestid=2936272 http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/T-Junction-Curved-Road-Plates-7281?_requestid=2936219 -
A-hah interesting, thanks.

How do you build your Lego sets?
Mutant Orc replied to Wonderpants's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Depends on the size of the set. I normally stick to the numbered bags, but I have no objection to mixing them in small sets, however after building a Medevil Market Village without numbers I'm not likely of building a large set without following the numbered bags if possible except maybe on a special exception to do with my mood at the time.
