  1. Sariel has published his video reviews.
  2. The set looks really cool. Much better than in prelim pictures. Not a fan of yet another small range of Technic pieces in never released colour. Oh, they've released #3 Connector in new colour, but not in Red for 42029. What a bunch of bastards!
  3. So removing extra wheels, which would be a cargo in A model (like in 8479) is no longer acceptable? Any update on this please?
  4. You forgot to chose a colour, there's over a ton of this pieces for sale.
  5. I had similar issue with tires, but it was a smell found in basement, you know, the "storage smell". Cleaned my tires several times with no big luck. So I just left them with assembled set and smell is no longer so concentrated. Yes, if you smell the tire closely you'll notice it. However simply having set in an opened air sort (sort of) solved my issue. AOW in this thread gave his tires a wash with "real tire cleaner". So you might try that one as well.
  6. It looks 16-19L to me.That helicopter looks better when proper pictures are published, but still more of parts pack for me. I wonder if it'll break 42025 record for most panels in single set?
  7. Yes, "Bricks & Pieces" is separated from S@H and you don't get any VIP points. BnP has completely separate terms.
  8. You better check HOF more often
  9. Use the application I mentioned. It has an option to part out the set. So this would be quite easy to compare prices of MISB and parted out set. I have read stories that there are seller who sell used parts as new (for serious money). Buyer normally notice this upon receive (otherwise there wouldn't be such story :) ) and when decides to return an order it was noticed that same piece appeared is same store's stock as New again. So if you still not sure if your pieces should be new or used go with BL definition for new parts. Be honest here, it would be much easier for you and your buyer.
  10. What if B-model needs some piece that was not part of of A-model, but would be easily hidden or attached to it initially? I just think it is not really possible to have both models built simultaneously, it would be more of "A-model first, disassemble it, build B-model from existing pieces.
  11. New pieces on BL are NEW as they are described by Bricklink itself. I have bought a lot of used parts and unspoken rule is that used pieces should be good as well or it should be mentioned otherwise (teeth marks, yellowed, deep scratches, A-B-C class, 7/10, etc.). So basically used pieces have been used to build or MOC and have some signs of usage but cannot be stated as NEW. These might need a wash (I always do it myself) thou. To find out most expensive pieces I would suggest using application called Brickstock. You would need to create a list of all pieces you have, including number and condition (new/used). And then there is an option to set a price manually or pick up average price from Bricklink. Then after some time when prices are retrieved and a bit of sorting you can easily see which pieces have the highest price.
  12. The front seems to be the trickiest part with BMWs, but you managed it! Recognizable and good looking body.
  13. Noticed that. But these are bigger in diameter than any other LEGO tyre. Could be a reason there is an increased stress in transmission.
  14. I've read somewhere that LEDs are not suitable if you need to distinguish between coloured parts due to uneven colour graph. Well, unless you work in black and very-very dark grey
  15. The idea here is that flagship sets stay available for at least 2 years. My Local LEGO shop (monobrand) still has 42009 available, and this model is still included in LEGO catalogue.
  16. kb7, should it be suspended? You mean 11 studs between pivot points? From recent discoveries, Thirdwigg's Audi Allroad has steered, driven, suspended independent suspension. But without a differential. My MB 2045 truck has rigid steered and driven suspension, including differential. I believe it would be quite easy to make it suspended, if needed.
  17. Well, then there is Zblj's Fox 8x8x8. Yes, it has 8 XL-motor. Prior building Fox I had some experience with 9398 Crawler and poor knowledge of XL-motors (mocing didn't go well). So I was wondering how could Fox handle 8! motors at the same time. Turned out pretty well, exceptionally well, I'd say. Not a single damaged or broken part, despite crawling and going over unimaginable obstacles. There are less gears as motors are "attached" to wheels and model also is quite heavy, which I think is advantage here - better grip and XL-motor power utilization. So from this experience I'd say XL-motors need to be as near as possible to tyre in order to unleash its full potential. Since you are using rigid axles it shouldn't be that hard to change it to 1 motor per wheel.I see you use 3rd party tyres. How big are they in diameter?
  18. Great crawler! Any plans for more motors? How about 4?
  19. It seems there's also a new connector in Bionicle sets. Similar to connector #2, but instead of axle holes it has bar compatible holes. And it was already mentioned there's a new parts which is a mix between 12T gear and this piece
  20. Strangely, I don't remember anyone really asking for coloured axles. We have some and these are rarely used.
  21. Well, since we don't have LEGO representatives here there are two possible options: 1. Later 2. Never I don't have experience with pneumatic pieces from older sets, but pieces might become available later during the next year when demand in Arocs set would decrease.
  22. New pneumatic pieces were "Sold out" from day one.
  23. It seems like your version is later one opposing to one I have, so I'd suggest using Alternate version posted on Bricklink.
  24. Got me here, my bad, didn't check that piece Still, BL states 32068 pieces were released with two sets last two years.
  25. Topic Part list & Instructions
