I have the opposite - number of ideas are spinning in my head, but there's no energy and enough time to start building. In my past years I found there are some sort of life cycles where you keep going back to previous hobby or things you are also interested in. You may wan to keep your LEGO activity low for some time and spend your time on other activities. But make sure you don't sell your LEGO, as you eventually would get back and regret doing so.

New graphics are in the air - share your feedback
zux replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
Been away for a while. This new forum colours are interesting. I'm lacking a bit of contrast as everything is using light tones. btw. Is there an option to chose some default theme that doesn't change 4 times a year? I'd love to keep the top picture changing though. -
Are you actually looking for LEGO at Aliexpress? That place is full of knock-offs. If you are looking for a set then 9398 would be your choice - it is a good base as it contains motors and nice selection of parts.

Not sure why you need a name and email for such survey. I'll have to pass.

Have you considered this part? In case you wish to have driven axle the following part could be used. -
How long does a bricklink order usually take?
zux replied to Brikkyy13's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Don't judge by single order. Bricklink generally is a good place to buy bricks you need. My overall experience is great, but it happens sometimes order doesn't go well as expected. It is laso good practise to check store terms (some people state they are shipping during specific time during a week or with a couple days of delay) and their feedback. Not sure how long it usually takes to receive a package from UK to Ireland, but, as I mentioned earlier, if you are not in rush of the items you've ordered I wouldn't worry much if order won't come within a week. If you actually needed parts pretty quick, it is a good practise to mention this in comments, while submitting an order. -

Ah, it seems to be pretty close. Anyway any order coming from EU usually takes me 5-6 working days to receive. I wouldn't worry much if it would take another week (this happens for me sometimes). -
@Excal1bur this doesn't sound like a set but more of GBC creation. Picture/scan would definitely help recognise the item you are looking for. While I would agree with Fugazi I could suggest asking a question in Technic subforum as GBC belong there, as some people don't check other subforums.

It is hard to tell since we don't know the country you live in and the location location of BL shop you've ordered your parts. -
[MOC] 1963 Corvette C2 Stingray

According this picture doors are actually ok, I believe. However I spot collisions between top of the door and roof. @legolijntje have you tried building this with real bricks? That might help spotting an issue.- 63 replies

Creating a small moc of this size and number of functions is a challenge already. Making it scaled version of existing set is just incredible! Proportions are just on spot - you can clearly see smaller model is like a younger brother to larger one.

Use "Report post" button instead of posting about it Someone else could take a look quicker if Jim is not around at the moment. -

Great model, haven't commented yet as there was nothing I could add during WIP process. I like how clean the shape is. What is the mystery behind this #2 connector? -

What would be considered a "large" LEGO collection?
zux replied to Brikkyy13's topic in General LEGO Discussion
There will always be a person who has more anyway (stating it's average in size) .- 36 replies

You forgot to mention Duplo and Juniors for each year. Classic, Speed Champions and Mindstorm are still there in 2017. I see that some series ar expanding (like Disney), some series didn't get their own name (City miners). It looks like less series are getting more set per year. Ghostbusters was clearly a one-off series in 2016. Doesn't look so bad after all.

I'm not sure if there is huge potential here will all new custom tyres as these are highly specific. Additionally these are categorised as 3rd party item so there are people who never accept them (and a MOC using them). It would have been better to produce different design wheel covers for existing LEGO wheels. It has a better potential (as with 3rd party tyres) and since it is not cheating (using custom parts where it is hard to use LEGO parts) unlike completely new wheels+tyres more people would accept it as just a visual feature/add-on.

Have been waiting for this report for a long time. Worth the wait! That last gift from Porsche is very nice picture actually! Was the grey cabrio 911 the only car you had a chance to drive or get a ride?

You could use Bionicle tooth instead of top 3L half beam. This will give impression of curved surface.
