  1. Tire & wheel
  2. You mean the ones at the edges of the front fender? These are Technic Panels.
  3. I'm kind of impressed you need this small propeller to have SPEEEED. It is now clear for me how inefficient LEGO propellers are, sadly.
  4. Yeah, but then 42064 has 14 of them. There still quite a lot of sets containing this piece in black in just 2017.
  5. Now that you've said that it definitely looks like a sticker. But the trick is in details - there is grey line printed on below the picture of nebula (?) which makes think it is a sticker. Minifigures have printed parts, obviously.
  6. The engineering behind the propellers really cool. Didn't expect both removal and rotation to be functional.
  7. Heh, Guiness records :) My concern regarding test run in opposite direction is the fact max speed is usually a resultant of both runs, making sure you are not running the test downhill. Thus the reference to the plane I did few posts above.
  8. Printed parts: I'd like to note all minifigures have two faces - one with just a little smile and other one with more joy. Yeah, that's my favourite minifigure in this set as well. Few more pics on Flickr.
  9. Reading your title it looks like "Fastest Lego Technic car powered by BuWizz". That's how I read it first which confused me a bit. Stating something like "Fastest Buwizz powered creation made of LEGO Technic" without emphasis on "LEGO" would be honest and sound much clearer. Sorry for being this picky, but this happens when people state they are best at something, as facts needs to be checked :) Did you get the same speed by running in opposite direction?
  10. Looks great. Do you have any pictures apart from this video?
  11. You cannot call it fastest "something" LEGO as it uses 3rd party item, so claim is no longer valid. It is like throwing your MOC out the of the plane and claiming it broke sound barrier. I like the structure of the model to be fair.
  12. Sorry I haven't posted more details - there have been some uncertainties. As the box is for EU there's no piece count - haven't counted all the parts myself. Sally Ride's suit is has her name tag, the rest are generic torso's. Margaret's outfit is quite nice.
  13. I got it from local LEGO (monobrand) store. It was priced at 32.99 EUR. I believe German price will be lower.
  14. Just bought a copy of Women of NASA. Not sure if this has been posted:
  15. Could be similar to wheel change we had with 8110, 42000 sets, where first batches have been released with old part, while later batches included upgraded part.
  16. Looks great. I could only suggest not to trust suspension behaviour at this point as your model will get heavier. So if you have soft setup right now you won't have any suspension with a body attached.
  17. Nine 42055's well spent! Who doesn't like huge functional Technic stuff? Sure it is not me! It is hard to imagine how much this thing weight, even though you have posted approximate value. However 8x tracks moving in snail speed give a good impression. Great model, like all the details and colour consistency too.
  18. Depends how many motors you want to run simultaneously. And the type of motors is important as well. Which motors are you using in your 8x8? Zblj's Fox 8x8x8 use 4x v2 Receivers to drive 8 XL motors. Plus additional receiver just for steering.
  19. What about Lada Niva? You don't see this model built very often.
  20. You have a choice between two stickers (3A and 3B) to be applied on a single single 2x4 tile.
  21. Yes. TLG was fine with LDraw models for Porsche Technic contest. Although there was controversy with digital models as they have received less jury votes. This was due to model using bricks in non-existing colours and it was impossible to check if insides really keep the model as it should. Basically you can build digitally exceptionally good looking model, but it won't work with real bricks.
  22. I'm usually not into bikes, but this one looks gorgeous!
  23. Well it is simple answer with non-TLG colour naming. While buying parts on BL you cannot find them in Medium Stone Grey, Dark Stone Grey, New Dark Red, Reddish Brown, Sand Yellow, Brick Yellow, etc... So people got used to non-official names, which sometimes are more clear than TLG's.
  24. That's the same piece found in 42061, just DBG.
  25. This is available in licensed LEGO stores as well, bought my new 1m ruler in Lithuania.
