LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
rollermonkey replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
What are you talking about? The Gozanti is a very prominent part of the finale episode. Made a couple screengrabs from yesterday's HD image releases, highlighting one very new vehicle and a couple of others... -
I was in the Navy for 20 years, so I've seen a couple of those in person, but apparently even their presence in other countries is classified.

Please tell me that they can be clicked together!

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
rollermonkey replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
No. Based on the complaints about completely unimportant, barely onscreen for a second extras not having minifigs, I'm going to say that people would complain about not having a Neyo. I wonder how much Imperial budget spending was wasted on two death stars that once operational, contributed virtually nil to the quashing of the Rebellion, And with at least two known SSDs destroyed too... Stands to reason that they still have similar TIEs due to the horrendous mismanagement of the R&D and shipbuilding budgets for several years, decades even. :D -
LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
rollermonkey replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
There were plenty of new vehicles in the trailer. We just focus on the familiar. All kinds of weird boxy things flying around the space scene and in the hangar. -
Does anyone else think that the Star Destroyer the Falcon flies into the engine bell of, looks an awful lot like the Executor, but upside down?

I spotted a second type of TIE in the hangar scene... It has a horizontal window that actually looks like macaroni bricks. also: That Obi-Wan constraction figure? Am I the only person who noticed that he's in his Clone Wars outfit? For that, the body/costume is pretty accurate, and the face actually isn't as bad that way, unless you're thinking he was PT Obi-Wan. ...and lastly, is that an upside-down Executor that the Falcon and TIE fly through? -

Showing a couple sets from TFA won't spoil the plot, and they need to try and stay ahead of leaks. There are a crazy number of rumors out there, along with purported concept art, etc. Revealing a few sets might be a good idea to make sure those leaks don't steal the thunder from Disney's official events. -
[MOC] WIP modifying LEGO 75095 UCS TIE fighter

Just from the LDD image in the UCS TIE thread, I BL ordered most of the round plates and bricks that I could see... You've been busy since then. -

I think you evolved from 'Shuttle' to 'Dropship' when you start carrying walkers to the surface.

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

...not if as much of TFA is set on Tattooine as the spoilers seem to indicate. -
Is there any chance this could be done in PMs or a thread actually about LDD? Thanks. The Wookiee gunship actually is a pretty cool build... Glad I got it.

Finally... I was wondering when we'd get a tidbit of information. -
Finally caved and got the Wookiee Gunship

Nice to see the Probe Droid realized in perfect scale with the AT-CAT.

There could theoretically be a question that nobody's answering... Perhaps, and this is a possibility, not necessarily what he's asking, he wants to know what a unimog is... Many automobile and truck models have names that mean something besides the truck itself: Tundra, Mustang, Thunderbird, Barracuda, Beetle, Bison, Blackhawk, Bluebird, Bobcat, Bronco, Cavelier, Charger, Cheetah, Cobra, Colt, Cougar, Eagle Firebird, Fox, Gazelle, Honey Bee, Hornet, Impala, Jaguar, Lark, Leon, Marlin, Pinto, Puma, Ram, Raptor, Road Runner, Robin, Sable, Scorpion, Skylark, Spider, Stag, Stingray, Sunbird, Super Bee, Tiger, Viper, Wasp, White Eagle, Wildcat, LaPuta, Laura, Pajero, Fitta, Moco, LaCrosse, Santa Fe, Reventon, Countach, etc. etc. etc. While some are relatively easy to understand, if you are from the right place or speak the right language, there are MANY that could be hard to glean the secondary (or more accurately FIRST) meaning of these names... ...and some are intended to have none... Like Camaro. So maybe we should ask for clarification as to what OP is looking for instead of piling on? Nobody seems to have answered: Universal-Motorgerät ...and if you're not a German speaker, how many know what that means? So kudos to Kiwi, Darth and DrJB for not instantly going off the rails.

This was the only 2015 Technic set on store shelves that I didn't have, old or reissue, so I said "why not?" Disappointed for a couple reasons: Model isn't all that impressive when built. V8 is nice, but the cab is so open in the back, and what's with the fender as a seat? Possibly the flimsiest technic set I've ever built. I bumped it off my desk on to a carpeted floor by accident shortly after I was done building, and it just crumbled. I've never seen anything like it happen with Technic. If I put it back together, it will actually take 10-15 minutes or more to do. I have 17 separate assemblies to sort out if I even bother. The lack of bag and backing for the instructions and sticker... The two booklets and one giant sticker sheet were crumpled up in three different places in the box. One book was at the bottom, rolled up, but the other book was absolutely crushed between bags, and the sticker sheet was crumpled up between two different bags, so badly that when I tried to flatten it out, the stickers started popping off the paper. I haven't been so disappointed in a set since coming out of the dark ages... Maybe ever.

I think you need to double-check your cockpit rotation, as it will rotate the full 90* if you use both articulation points for the rotation. It's really a weird thing to have to do, but I'm sure it's related to the proportions of bricks height vs. depth.
