Do lots towards a Bricklinked 10179 count?
-
I found a guy around the corner from my house selling LEGO, both complete sets and loose parts, from his garage... Does that count?

I believe they are fairly consistent across all copies of the same set. Each 1x1 tile or plate, or short Technic pin, will typically have one extra of each, in each bag where the part is included. (Ex: if 2 bags have black 1x1 plates, both bags will have an extra) If there's a bigger part in excess, like projectiles for flick-fires or spring-shooters, usually everybody gets the same amount of extras. As for the collectibility of a set, it went much further down because you don't have the box than it will because it doesn't have the extra parts.

Now, tell me you wouldn't prefer a gold-chrome C3PO to what we have gotten, but keep a straight face when you say it. -
Are you sure they were spares? The BTTF Delorean has... what, 3 alternate builds? If none of the parts required for the alternates are missing, I guess it isn't a huge deal... typically the 'spare parts' are 1x1 plates and tiles and Technic pins, none of which are terribly valuable. You are probably out less than $0.50 - $1. Not nice of the seller, but not devastating. Did the listing say that the box wouldn't be included?

Agreed, only the top couple of most populous states (CA, NY, TX) stand any real chance of hitting the 75/state limit, but mostly because the least populous states (WY, AK, ND) most likely won't get more than 1 or 2 across the whole state. I do hope that they post the instructions online though.

I got the list using the website you linked and the .lxf, but it isn't recognizing the first LDD part. Is this it?

Over the years, how many sets were based on Clone Wars? ...and Ahsoka Tano appears in 2? It really is pretty bad. But enough about that, how many times do you think Finn (Rey?) will appear? It seems like she's one of the principal characters... -

What the heck is that thing on the ground in front of Maul? I don't remember ever getting a really good view of his speeder in the movie, but it certainly does look weird here. I do sort of like the ship, but it's not an immediate purchase (for me) by any stretch. I haven't been out of the dark ages very long, though so I don't have Maul or Qui-Gon, making it a likely purchase before retirement. -

Excellent breakdown. You've convinced me. It would indeed be sad if you're correct though, as it's not as representative as it could be. unless we get a glaring change from concept art in the film itself. -

That is exactly the ship I was referring to... Now reread my post, because you missed everything that I said except the word red. -

As l have newer versions of all the minifigs, I see no need to waste money of the old style figs. Covenant has a pretty smart idea there, though: Why fork over $$$$ for the printed dish? The round one was knocked off anyways! I think I'll be MODding mine to make a rectangular dish.- 290 replies

I strongly suspect that this is NOT the big V-shaped ship from teaser 2. Pretty clear that that ship's wings don't extend below the fuselage. In that regard, it looks a little bit like the red ship from the concept art with a palette swap. Maybe they are similarly related like TIE Bombers / TIE Advanced are? We haven't seen 1% of the film yet, there is probably a lot we haven't seen yet. Maybe this is just from the other 99%.
