  1. So many new hairpieces! And so nice to see so many including both masked and unmasked heads. I might feel compelled to get more of this series than I initially thought.
  2. I would've said the same several years ago, but City has actually been going toe to toe with CMF lately. Squirrels, kittens, puppy, seal (baby and adult), polar bear cub, baby gorilla, baby elephant, monkie, lion/big cat cub, Arctic fox. Still, the point stands that CMF can and does introduce animal moulds with superb regularity.
  3. Also the top of the van says 7785 in reference to the original Arkham. I'm a little torn on this one. When I first saw it I thought it was a bit low res in terms of detail. Not as bad as the TLBM one, but memory alone had me preferencing the Marcos Bessa one. In hindsight, maybe that one was almost too busy on the facade, and sure it's great this one is a whole building, although making Arkham a modular with flat sides is kinda weird in itself. I think I'm just over Arkham Asylums when there are so many other cool DC things that they ignore, and now Minifigures scream "wow fantastic new version of that!" due to the jumpsuits.
  4. Oh. Indeed, I have not watched Wicked, but I like the hairpieces and I am tempted by that Munchkinland cottage because the design looks so aesthetic.
  5. Aren't munchkins supposed to be... short?
  6. Dang that Munchkinland building is beautiful! But where are the munchkins?
  7. Is Toto a German Shepherd puppy in the Wicked universe? Interesting lineup of sets though. It seems like they're really leaning into the adult buyer side of things for Part 2.
  8. Yep, Eurobricks remains a site dedicated to LEGO both as a system and a brand, and not the alternatives and competitors. There have always been alternatives and competitors, and Eurobricks has never been about them. If they work for you, that's all well and good!
  9. Indeed. Between the insane prices, lack of many non-externally Licensed parts added, and new worse UI, PaB is quite literally not what it used to be.
  10. No... Tudor Corner launched in Jan. They've already added parts from March.
  11. I missed this new kitten colour. Why isn't it on PaB?? The Minifigures in the set are incredibly run of the mill too.
  12. Well, very happily surprised to see the Lovegood House on the list. Here's hoping it's actually... good. Only a couple of years ago I'd have no trepidation at all. Since then a couple of things have happened: Malfoy Manor facade with some less than ideal figures (especially some faces), and perfectly good Privet Drive at that same price point when it should be $20 cheaper than that. The only way I'll be happy with a pretty small house is if they include a full on Three Brothers vignette alongside it, which would be pretty cool. The rest of the list is just at this point, though I do like a Hagrid variant so that set could turn out worthwhile.
  13. While I generally agree to the latter (and that is our stated forum rule), there is also value in seeing cool old MOCs bumped up again that would otherwise have been lost to time. I'd say that's the case here - these are neat!
  14. Here in Australia too. It's honestly much more functional. I think they should keep the current setup but if you click on a brick rather than click "Pick", you should be able to see and toggle between available colours.
  15. That's only once you click on them. On the main page of parts to scroll, there's nothing indicating parts are out of stock.
  16. Yeah in principle having one entry for a part and choosing the colour seems cool, but several things need fixing with this UI. It needs to be able to show what's out of stock on the first screen (maybe the colours that are out of stock are slightly greyed out), and also show which colours are already in your cart with a tick on top of them, like it does when you click. The bestseller vs standard issue is no longer a thing here in Australia (or in Europe I think), but they need to sort that out for North America.
  17. The old one had an interconnected function so that the wings folded down and the landing gear folded up, and vice versa, all simultaneously. I believe the new one has wings that must be folded independently and doesn't have landing gear at all. EDIT: I might be wrong though. There is an arrow on the back of the box between the pic of the side wings folding down and the pic of the back wing folding down. Does that mean they fold together? Hopefully a lifestyle video will tell us soon. As @Flawless Cowboy said though, it's just a less cool toy. You're welcome. That was my benchmark for LEGO pricing that was awful. Sad to say, now pricing that is beyond incomprehensible is becoming common here in Star Wars.
  18. Seems like the V-19 has lost the function that made it so awesome back in the day. Sad. This wave of sets make me sad generally. There's very cool novel stuff, but the prices are all "sets including General Grevious" level beyond horrendous.
  19. Voting has closed and votes have been tallied. Congratulations to @kritch on taking first place and @Ben S on taking second place! Look out for PMs to arrange your prizes. Thank you everyone for participating!
  20. There is a lot wrong with the new pigeon, most notably that pigeons have distinctive, colourful necks. That would probably be hard to implement without triple moulding plus printing, and simply dual-moulding with no printing definitely keeps the cost down on LEGO's end. I'm still happy to have a pigeon at all though and am not that fussy about accuracy.
  21. 6 10 11 It was hard to narrow it to three!
  22. Hi Codemito, While we allow topics that are presented as MOCs, with pictures, write-up etc to have a link to Ideas at the end, the way you have posted this is pure self-promotion. I am locking this topic but feel free to repost in the appropriate subforum and actually showing off your build, if you'd like.
