Marvel Superheroes 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
Clone OPatra replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Wow I love the Spider-Man 2 set and am so glad they're revisiting stuff like this. Never mind that half the figures don't "belong in the scene" because it's a great little homage to the film, and they (astonishingly) did it all right! Shame if it will really be $50 USD RRP (making that $70 or $80 AUD??) but patience is a virtue. -

Yes they're a new single-piece mould. The Dreamlings piece is a small body on which to attach Minifigure (or bigfig) heads. -
LEGO Star Wars Set Discussion 2025 - READ FIRST POST!!!

The backlash to Last Jedi was absolutely immense. So immense that Disney quickly changed course on their series. But it's different. People were clamoring for and wondering about new Star Wars for 15 years when Phantom Menace released, and it was the Star Wars creator himself delivering odd and clunky ideas with slow pacing where zippy inventive fun and relatable characters had once reigned. People were very excited for the sequels, but still approaching it with some trepidation now that it was Big Corporate running the show. I remember the rumours of Force Awakens starting with Luke's hand floating through space and thinking, ok, we'll wait and see. "Half the excitement, .5 the letdown" - Count Dooku. -

Personally I think there's more to it than that, which partially comes down to whether or not Disney keeps the characters and general timeline of the sequels alive or not. Apart from some pivots surrounding the backlash to Jar Jar, George always stood by his choices/films and, like I said, kept the Prequel timeline alive with new material like the Clone Wars show. Disney set out to do all they could to distance themselves from the prequels, yet had obviously lost faith in their own new trilogy by the end of it, and now have done all they can to focus on anything but the sequels. People having seen and liked the films as kids isn't enough alone. Some (good) Rey movies to keep it going would help. -

People keep saying this, but I really don't see it, to the same extent. The prequels are clunky films with some relatively interesting ideas, plus a lot of new memorable iconography (ships, droids, characters, etc). The sequels are slick films with relatively uninteresting ideas that devolve as they go along, and besides a few trooper designs and Kylo Ren, a minor amount of memorable iconography that isn't just something slightly modified from the OT. George also kept building on the Prequels with Clone Wars debuting only a few years after RotS, feeding into a generation of fondness for the era, whereas here we are six years after Rise of Skywalker and Disney is yet to set anything during the actual sequel timeline or with sequel characters (partially because the sequel timeline is so condensed). So no, I don't think there's going to be a rush of admiration for the sequels unless they can get a Rey movie/trilogy off the ground that actually builds on the sequels and helps anyone like them retrospectively. As for LEGO, the company should really prioritise filling the remaining prequel gaps before they do more sequel material, IMO. Insane we still haven't gotten Shmi and Boss Nass after all these years. -

Those Friends baby heads are insanity! $9.83 in Australia! And once again I don't understand why they have been withholding so many Ninjago Minifigure prints from the service. The unique helmets and those little dragons and stuff are there, but not some heads, torsos and legs. -

Licensed Multiverse Mayhem Contest Entries close June 10, 2025 Build a 16x16 vignette depicting the chaos caused by your favourite LEGO IPs being smashed together. Contest Entry Rules One entry per Eurobricks member You can join Eurobricks to enter the contest (but we'd like you to stick around!) The contest will run until June 10th 2025. As long as it's still June 10th somewhere in the world, you can enter. To enter, post just one picture of your MOC in the Multiverse Mayhem entry topic. Your MOC must fit within a 16x16 frame but does not have to be on an actual base, and/or can be smaller. No height limit. Very minimal overhang allowed. Your MOC must relate to any Licensed property LEGO has ever done past or present, excluding Star Wars, and fit the brief of two or more Licenses interacting in some way. You don't have to use LEGO's parts/Minifigures from your chosen License, but the property should be clear. (I.e. you can make your own Indiana Jones Minifigure from other LEGO parts, but it should be identifiable as Indy) All entries must be new creations, not posted anywhere else prior to being entered in the contest. You may be asked by a staff member to change your entry if it is too similar to an earlier creation. All entries must be built from real LEGO. No clone brands, no third-party custom parts. Physical builds only for this contest. Your photo can be an Instagram post that you post to the entry topic. (You must tag us @eurobricks_official) Choosing Winners After entries close, a voting topic of all eligible entries will be opened for approximately five days. Every Eurobricks member will get one vote to award to their favourite entry. You must have joined Eurobricks by April 16th 2025 to be eligible to vote. The entry with the second most votes will be the runner up winner. They can choose one set with an equivalent value up to 60 Euros as their prize. Fine Print By entering, you consent to Eurobricks reposting your entry on Eurobricks' social media channels, crediting you. Prize values are determined in accordance with German Shop at Home and prizes are subject to availability on the Shop at Home in the winners' local countries. Some back and forth with Eurobricks staff might be required to select an available prize. Prizes could take 8-10 weeks to arrive but we will keep you updated as much as we are able. This is the topic for discussion of the contest. Let us know in the comments if you have any questions. Post your entry in the Entry Topic.

I'm more excited for the LEGO potential of the characters that the film.... but even then it's not necessarily likely to get them, or they will be in some $130 battle set on a grey base with a tree given how lackluster the art direction and locations tend to be in the Russo Marvel films especially. -

Personally while EB use in general these days ebbs and flows, interest in the theme would definitely have tapered off among the long-time adult fan segment just because LEGO covered almost everything in a matter of just a few years. When they relaunched Harry Potter it was incredibly exciting overall, and even more so because they were paying close care and attention in a way they had never done previously. They obviously couldn't do it all at once, so it continued to be really exciting as they progressed through the films, and even when they circled back with the first Hogwarts reboot there were still significant gaps. Now though, it's like the occasional Durmstrang Ship type set is all new (within the 2018- theme), but otherwise it's bits and pieces of sets that are interesting, and that leads to less general interest in discussing the theme. -

It's on there. 5785. This was an Australian order so all parts were available even before it reopened in the US. -

That headphones piece is still actively in production in different colours, so they easily could, or have a mix. They have also done one with long hair from Hidden Side, and there was an Emmett hair one from a CMF, but both of those are unlikely to return (especially Emmett). -

My first instinct was that the U-Wing was pretty ugly compared to the old one (not talking about accuracy, just aesthetics), but other angles might be better. Dedra is mostly great, but why oh why are they doing white on black printed legs when they're going to be so ugly and dual molded white top and black bottom legs currently exist and are in production? I know Star Wars almost never has dual moulded arms or legs, but that part literally exists right now! -

That piece has frustratingly never been sold on PaB in any colour (except maybe the dark blue one from Ninjago, but even then I'm not sure). I really wanted to buy some of the brown and dark brown varieties when they were in sets! -

Definitely looks way better than the last one imo. It's unfortunate that it doesn't include any form of shrunken head, Stan's hat is a big downgrade, and they keep using that German Shepherd mould for Sirius. But the actual bus build looks great. -

I placed an order here in Australia for the first time in a long time (usually I used to place my orders in the US because of the much lower no-free and free shipping thresholds). Now that everything here is bestseller, I wonder what the timing will be like - the message is that orders take 15 works days to reach you. Standard orders used to take a couple of months. Really wanted those Dreamzzz puffer jackets though, of which there are no great buying options on BL, and coerced myself into enough other stuff to hit the $40 AUD no fee threshold. -

Same for Wolfpack, which had left the site for a while, but came back and I just ordered a couple yesterday. It seems they've coded the site right now not to show anything out of stock even when "show out of stock" is selected. -

Ooh good point. I've just seen an IG post with it used on the back of the white pony from that advent calendar. Now I will have to play around with this...
