    Hi Jim on my iPhone at work voted "how am I supposed to know?" vote box disappeared after I voted and it thanked me for it, show results disappeared too refreshed page vote box reappeared, with boxes for me to vote again and show results displayed clicked show results and vote boxes and "show results" disappeared again

    Go for it Blakbird I'd love to but also I'd be worried about a "conflict of interest" if it's modelled on a specific car, especially if it's part of the group I work for.

    cheered me up massively to hear that its a car (or at least a chassis) that's coming. I tick a few of those boxes :) ... where I'm from and what I do as a job :) But not a Journo

    Approximately 8-9 weeks actually ... closing date is October not September! Jim can I request that the entry thread is open from the beginning of October as from the 7th I'm away on holiday. just googled the apogee game and it's a Mario kart type game. Are you thinking something like those or something more like the Hanna-Barbera cartoon?

    But Jim wouldn't that make it a 41st Anniversary model instead of a 40th? Here's still hoping whatever it is it's a worthy model of its title

    I'm hoping the tc12 is a little left field ... or I'll just try and come up with a silly entry anyway! hopefully Jim won't keep us in suspense as long as TLG are with the UCS Millennium Falcon reveal!

    Tested on an iPhone. Voted other, now can't see the results. Wonder if it changes if I do a reload update it's obviously not taking my votes as if I refresh the page I can vote again! But when I instead click view results the vote disappears and the results don't display

    Getting there ... No model has been safe to get to this stage. Determined not to use any parts from the 42069 actual set (which I have). So far the Porsche, Claas, my MOD/MOC 40th Chassis and even the Creator London Bus (Routemaster) have given up parts! As you'll see a couple of non grey of orange parts have crept in. I've got a bricklink wish list slowly building. unfortunately I'm now travelling for a few days so next build time won't be till Thursday I think. Still loving the construction of this. Haven't also worked out how I'll do the bonnet yet as you can't get the long fairing pieces in orange

    Bought this a while ago and I've only had time to flick through it at the moment. need to sit down some point and start to read it in depth.

    Started working on an orange one with a light grey Chassis. I actually broke open my unopened Porsche box to start raiding the orange parts. Ive got the official set too so I'll do some side by side shots at some point. the orange one will be on wheels changed to using Flickr :)

    Thanks @kbalage shame it's not tech fig size but not a deal breaker for me. 100% going to buy this now. I agree I'm not going to sticker it, I think the only recent model I put stickers on were the little display jet and the Claas. think a recolour and MOD session for me

    Can you do some photos with a technic figure too? How well he fits in the seat and what he looks scale wise to the vehicle as a whole, although this vehicle should be taller than him that's why it has the running boards

    sorry 3rd column of the grey parts, 3rd and 4th items down ... item 4 is over item 3's part id number ... i was zoomed in On a side note you can't do a complete orange body, 3 of the parts that make up the bonnet arent in orange yet

    did you notice the bad printing on page 2 of the parts list ? 3rd and 4th parts in 1st column of your second photo

    Hi Sariel, I think there's a review of this in the Creator section of the forum already. I've bought it because London is very close to my heart and i have all the Creator cars so far ... and the Caterham and also my BrickmonkeyMOC inspired Creator style MX-5. In terms of your comments about scale I think this is a "lost in translation" moment by TLG as none of the vehicles before this are the same scale. if they did the Mini would be called a Maxi, or you'd never want to go away in a VW Bus ! I do agree that the model is let down by the Grille, but I think thats fixable, was thinking some red grille pieces and then perhaps a rod to use as the division bar down the middle
