Both, makes it easier for younger builders, and they are common parts in production.

But what he did had no Dumbledore wanting to die implications and needing Snape to take his wand... What Kylo Ren did was outright murder.

Bionicle 2016 Story Discussion & Rumors
xboxtravis7992 replied to VBBN's topic in LEGO Action Figures
That video with the kid... The designer gives the kid Umarak, and the kid promptly takes Umarak's sword; and stabs the designer. :D -
I like a lot of G1 and G2. I admit both have had their flaws, and both have had their successes. I hope that doesn't make me a pariah in this discussion :)

Anyway... New Elementary is publishing Scott and Andrew's reviews of the 2016 sets now; and Aanchir's photos just made me realize that with some posing Uxar's legs cover Lewa's shoulders matching his 2015 shoulder armor. That's some fine design right there, especially in mimicking one of his 2015 features. Now all I need is the money for these Bionicle sets, plus the Star Wars sets, and Superhero sets, and that $200+ HO scale train locomotive, and that DSLR Camera; and an entire $3000 college semester tuition. I better get saving :)

[Review] Kopaka: Mata, Nuva and Phantoka

Yes, that one. -
True. But I still have all my Galidor sets lying around. As they say, "keep your enemies closer" :) A lot of the Bionicle fans hate Solek (and his Av-Matoran kin) from 2008. Bland build, and far too expensive.

Sorry to bump this; but I just watched video of a DDA40X in action and wanted to see if someone has done a Lego version. I actually tried doing one as a young teenager, but it was atrocious! Your's is spot on! I've seen two DDA40X units in display (Ogden Utah and Portola California) so I can vouch for your accuracy

There is a list somewhere online: but here is a brief overview. TLG- The Lego Group, proper company name of Lego. FOL- Fan of Lego AFOL- Adult FOL TFOL- Teenage FOL KFOL- Kid FOL SNOT- Studs not on top CCBS- Character and Creature Building System; pieces used for current Bionicle and Star Wars figures sets. LUG- Lego users group, aka Lego fan clubs! BURP- Big Ugly Rock Piece, large molded pieces shaped like a cliff wall. There is a page here on Eurobricks in the New Members section of the Forum Information forum.

One Golden Kanohi Ignika free with a qualifying purchase of $899!

I don't know the answer; but cutting hoses is actually a purist method: it was done in the Architecture Series: Space Needle!
-
Heck yes! Now we can have rusty looking train bogies. And Ninjago, what a strange place for that piece to show up.

Han Solo from 2013 A-Wing; all FO Stormtroopers, Juno Eclipse (female imperial officer!), the A-Wing pilot from 2013, and Rey is pretty good to. From themes other than Star Wars though I also have Indianna Jones, the Calvary figures from Lone Ranger, ALL Iron Man suits that I own, and pretty much anything from The Lego Movie. EDIT: I own figures from all the way back to 1999, although most of my favorites still are recent figs from the past decade or so.

From Russia with Love... The Bricklink price guide though states that $40 is the normal sale price.
-
I envy all those who purchased Toa Mata Nui only for that gold Ignika mask which now catches a $40 price on Bricklink.
-
Brilliant! Looks like it would make a fun bowling game. Love how the pins use Rebels stormtrooper helmets.

Spectacular model. Was Play Fair fun? I it was an alternative program to Toy Fair. -
The Skopio might have been the largest width wise, but height wise Brickset says it is only 8" tall.
-
I just checked Brickset. Grievous is registered as 11" tall, Toa Mata Nui from 2009 is registered as 13" tall. I haven't checked the height of things like Ultimate Dume or the Fenras Dragon yet.(EDIT: I meant the Kardas Dragon)
-
I want to know what is the tallest Constraction Set! I bought General Grievous today and I am amazed by his height. What is the tallest constraction set?

Lego train track round the walls of a room
xboxtravis7992 replied to willhappy's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Then there is the method of using Homasote and Cork! That would really dampen the sound, it would almost be over kill! Yet a lot of "scale" modelers chose to do that. David Popp's N-Scale Railroad in his book about how to build a Model Railroad uses both Homasote and Cork ( ). If it works well for the model guys, it should work well in Lego. It is funny, I keep reading books on how to build scale railroads so I can someday do an HO layout, yet half the ideas in those books give me more ideas for a Lego layout. I might need to build both then to be satisfied :P -
Your project was mentioned by Brickset though on their Facebook page, that's a start!

All these "2017 doom and gloom" predictions make me want to stop following this discussion. So what if Lego cancels Bionicle in 2017? They already cancelled it once in 2010, and they still took the risk to bring it back. If the line is canceled, we'll still have had an additional 3 years of life to the line we would never have imagined in 2010. And if Bionicle only does live 3 years, in that short space of time we got new parts and new methods of building CCBS.Any $15 Toa is light years ahead of similarly priced Hero Factory sets. Besides if anyone worries the theme will die badly; just think back to the Bionicle: Stars in 2010... Trust me, anything Lego does in 2017 will easily be better than the Stars were :)
