All is now explained in the orgin of the title! ;) -
I saw 4-6 on VHS as a kid, followed by a few of the Special Editions in theater. I remember seeing Episode I in 1999 as a kid, and I have seen every movie since then in theaters including the terrible 2008 The Clone Wars film (horrid movie, great TV show!)

Lego should just have a good ratio for future clone releases, 1 color trooper to every white trooper, 1:1 ratio. But I'm in more of a FO mood right now...

Looks even better in real bricks!

Remember what said earlier that Coulson's hair looked to slick? I take it back, all back. I did a BrickLink search to make my own Coulson and the only suitable hair was the piece you used. The official Lego videogame hairpiece has way to much hair to represent Clark Gregg's mild male pattern balding.

Now that you mention it, I wonder if TLG has one of these in their factory for quality control tests. It wouldn't surprise me if Lego took every 10,000th figure and smooshed it to check its quality and ability to resist damage.

Their fruit salad episode was funny! And now I know what a Minifig looks like being smooshed... Lego Movie 2 nightmare scene

Your LEGO after you die.
xboxtravis7992 replied to Paul B Technic's topic in General LEGO Discussion
내가 죽을 때 내 레고 는 큰 파티에 갈 것입니다 (What April fools is over?) In all seriousness though; I don't know what would happen if I died NOW. I think my parents would keep my Lego as a shrine or something like that, until my sister has kids which will eventually steal it. However if I live a long and healthy life (which is the plan) I hope I can pass it onto my descendants. -
A chronology of Lego molds?
xboxtravis7992 replied to SecondHandLego's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Colorwise there is a Flickr page that details Lego color history, but I can't recall it's name. Moldwise, I don't know. New Elementary covers new bricks, but doesn't have a mold history. -
Looks good. As mentioned the color is a great choice! Only detail I can see missing is an exhaust port on the roof (The official Maersk Engine set has a simple exhaust pipe, a good reference to since that set was based on an SD-40)

Korean as default language for Eurobricks

All bow to great democratic party of Spam! Hail the exalted leader! -
Oh that would be such a wonderful engine in Lego! You really need a front and a top view though to catch the shapes of the roof, here are some examples I could find: Front view: http://ogrforum.ogau... DRGW.jpg (the photographer is a famous railfan in my local area) A top view: http://www.carrtrack...la482sp5007.jpg And here is a side view of the real life version of the paint scheme you have on your first post: http://illinois-cent...rs/gmo516-2.jpg And what I think is the most famous GP30 ever built: http://www.hankstruckpictures.com/pix/trucks/mark_wayman/2005/oct05/riggers_heavy_haul/file0019.jpg

Hmm, maybe an argument could be made for the Star Tours rides though? They are both films... The first ride did have the Death Star explode; but the explosion was shown on a separate screen. Which arguably could count as a different film than the other one, despite both being in the same ride... Okay, I am definitely over thinking this :P Anyway that makes me more excited to see Rogue One. Yet arguably I am not as excited for Rogue One as I was for Episode 7, it just doesn't feel like it is being hyped as much. Even the news right now is focused on Episode 8 rumors and not on Rogue One.

Ausini and Gaobole (GBL) trains (clone brands from China)
xboxtravis7992 replied to Hugo's topic in LEGO Train Tech
That Maersk Train in tan bricks is really wonky looking... -
I still use Brickshelf and MOCpages... ;) Actually my big thing with MOCs right now is putting them on Brickshelf then hard linking the photos here to Eurobricks. The people on here are very responsive! I notice that is what lot of Flickr users do to.

Which Bionicle colours sold the best and why?
xboxtravis7992 replied to Fulcrumfan91's topic in LEGO Action Figures
I'd like to know official data to. Brown always struggled; it is interesting though that back in 2003-2004 Lego would sometimes release brown and black sets a month or two early to hype the rest of the wave. I remember as a kid on vacation in southern California that I bought the black and brown Rahkshi sets as an early release in Legoland California; especially since there weren't any Rahkshi of any color yet available back in my Utah hometown. (I actually regret that choice though since my parents offered to buy me Fort Legoredo (6762-1 version) or one of the other western sets instead, but as a kid I was determined to get those early release Rahkshi and some Bohrok Kal... Guess which one set I wish I had now!) Anyway back to the subject... I think it was no accident brown sets were the first released; and that in 2006 with Hewkii the color was almost entirely removed from the Bionicle line. (The odd thing is I have all three "stone" sets from 2006, Vehlika, Hewkii, and Avak) -
Disney Collectible Minifigures Series 1 Discussion
xboxtravis7992 replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
The classic cartoon characters look a little goofy (no-pun intended); it has always been difficult for Disney to replicate the 2D animated figures into 3D real life forms... Fortunately while they don't look quite like the animated version they look spot on with the costumes used in Disney Parks: http://images.mentalfloss.com/sites/default/files/styles/article_640x430/public/5053905708_97e98e7520_b.jpg This might be the first minifigure wave I will want and try to "catch them all" however I fear availability will be a big time issue with the hype they are receiving.- 4,155 replies

Potential of 3d printing and Lego
xboxtravis7992 replied to Mesabi's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yes 3D printing really only works for small custom batches. I know a lot of model railroaders are using 3D printing to make entire model shells; but they aren't printing the finer tuned details with it especially the functional wheel sets. But most of the things model railroaders are making are custom models based on small things that a big company would never dream of manufacturing... I think Lego 3D printing will go the same way, Lego fans can make custom parts with it, but the tolerances are so loose that they will not be making anything to replace basic bricks. Injection molding parts is still a far more accurate and cost effective method than 3D printing is.- 10 replies

Well an effort could be made to sell at hobby shops and train shows. I know most train shows have at least one LUG on display, so selling Lego related stuff could be possible. Hobby shops might be trickier, since most of their focus is on "scale modeling", HO, O, and N stuff. Still many hobby shops are looking for ways to interest children (in the late 90's the "Train Shoppe" my local shop was the place were my parents bought me Thomas stuff); so a Lego magazine might I terest them two fold 1) child friendly, 2) articles of interest for the adult modeler. From my experience, although most "scale modelers" view Lego as a toy train, they often enjoy seeing the builds.

Amazon Rex: In the Flesh
xboxtravis7992 replied to xboxtravis7992's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Well he is a Lego figure; and his era of adventures is the 1980's; so yeah it is a bit out there! ;) -
I'd consider subscribing to a Lego Train Magazine; but I feel since I have used Lego since I was a little kid and I have access to viewing MOC's online, a magazine would need something to make it special. I'd like to use the popular Model Railroader magazine as an example; Model Railroader doesn't focus entirely on showing "someone did this" and more on "this is how you can do it." If there was a Lego Train Magazine that showed "how to" with topics such as SNOT building methods, replicating prototypical equipment in Lego, decals, layout wiring, DCC in Lego trains, etc. it would be a great resource to the community (I feel Railbricks was at its most useful when it did that, and I will need to revisit the instructions online from Railbricks someday, I just know it!). But if the new magazine was just, "Here are photos of the MOC's you already saw online" then I don't know if it would give much new to the community.
