  1. I think by theme would be most useful. That is how the reviews are (or were) indexed in the forum. This is quite the impressive feat I have to say.
  2. Oh my gosh I love you. Can I extract data to place/update the Action and Adventure themes review index?
  3. Guys, pure TV talk is for the dedicated thread in LEGO Media and Gaming, thanks. As for more sets? Ninjago is an "evergreen" theme now to TLG. The success means they are going to keep releasing sets as certainly as City. I don't follow the TV series, but the formula of bikes/cars/mecha/dragons could survive reboots or Next Generation-ing any plot-line.
  4. That is really really weird. I have heard about damage to elements, but never something like this! Hopefully someone here can explain more. Meanwhile: Do you have photos? It might help diagnose the problem.
  5. Sorting is a personal thing though. I MOC, so my collection is sorted in a way that lets me access parts as I require them, but allows for a more fluid creative path while I build. So I have parts that I class as "Car" like air scoops and exhaust pipes in a box, and I have tail fins and propellers and the like in one for "plane" parts. The same goes for plants (all in one box). This lets me come across interesting parts I didn't first consider. However I have my bricks sorted into 1 wide, 2 wide and the modified bricks all in different boxes. Volume is hard to figure out too. Sadly. Rebrickable is a good way to get an idea of what parts you have, if you know exactly what sets you own and do not have extra bricks from mixed lots. I know all my sets, but the boxes of charity shop and second hand finds of mixed parts means it is not possible to really list all parts I have.
  6. That is quite a menacing creature for the elves world. The integration of system elements with bionicle parts is rather clever. Good build
  7. One point to raise regarding the reputation of EB on other sites: A lot of those making claims about "moderation police" and the like are people banned from Eurobricks after warnings and attempts to help them. I recall numerous users who rejected fair treatment and polite requests not to cause arguments and to stop being abusive. So they were banned. Shortly after there were threads on other forums tearing down EB and moderators, of course not mentioning what they had done to have been banned.
  8. I use our old dining table, a nice big Ikea number that is reliably solid. Tables depend upon what sort of display you want to put up, how you prefer to build and a lot of other personal factors.
  9. Well done guys. It must have been hard work!
  10. Well, connecting on data not WiFi, I have noticed some slowdown which affects the options. It might just be the same issue for you. Do you get the same issue when connected with WiFi?
  11. What OS and browser? It is fine on my android phone with the chrome. Sometimes when there is poor data connection things are a little slower loading and reacting, but that is the only issue.
  12. Sounds like a grunge music track... Titles come and go, people staff can and do change them as it amuses them. All part of the fun here on EB.
  13. When the production company gets it designed by the guy who worked on Macross you know you are in for a treat. (Gerry Anderson works are super popular in Japan).
  14. LEGO Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet would be perfect. I loved them when I was small and I actually enjoyed the rebooted Captain Scarlet when I was a teen. Also loving the new Thunderbirds series (The Thunderbird S would be an amazing set).
  15. Thanks guys, it was fun to put it in the pool table with a the suped up sporty cars as a cheerful contrast I am also working on a 4 wide classic town version and one that fits in with the modern City cars. Just for fun.
  16. TLG Own the rights, it was licensed to Warner Bros to make the film. The look in the new film matches well with the look of the Ninjago sets. I hope there is at least a cameo for some characters.
  17. May I present to you my entry for the EB Event 2018 Speed Champions contest: The Robin Reliant Mk 1-- As with past events we were challenged to create a MOC and bring it along for everyone to judge. As a fun addition, the vote was added to the forum too, so members elsewhere could vote along with those of us in Billund. Wondering what to build, I had been discussing the contest with my sister as I drove us to town. As she made suggestions and I considered MOC methods, we reached a crossroads. There, bumbling towards us (and quite gentlemanly-ly allowing us to take the turn first) was a nice old Robin Reliant. "You don't see many of those on the road now, do you?" I said as we carried on down the road. "No, not really. Which is a shame, they are quite cute and funny." My sister replied. After a beat of silence; "You should build one for the car contest!" And thus it was decided. I was building a Robin Reliant. I chose the Mark 1 as it has quite the iconic look to it, the rounded grill and headlights looking especially nice. Then some certain friends of mine suggested I use the light bright orange shade to build. A further challenge I accepted! After a little research and parts checking, I got to building and with some refinements the above is the result. The 75909 McLaren P1 donated most of the parts to this build, the Jungle Explorers and some Chima supplied the rest. Below is a front view and the fact sheet I created to go with the car at the event. Comment, question and critique!
  18. From the album: Stuff

  19. The new clips have been a mixed bag on quality. I have had some take tiles with ease and others break just from a bar. Those that are ok remain fine though.
  20. Sets are always full price at LEGOLAND, except in the Discount Tent (If it is still there and if it is open). You are probably better off waiting for the supermarkets to have a bit of a price cut. Sainsbury's always has a 20% off toys sale every few months. (Not to mention periods of clearance to make way for other/newer sets). ASDA and Tesco drop prices at random intervals and Morrisons will reliably lower prices to make way for new waves of sets. Argos also has toy sales from time to time. Most likely at the start of the summer holidays.
  21. Hiii! Great to see we got you to sign up on the forum and I hope you enjoy the online stuff as much as the offline part.
  22. Well try and think through how it sounds before you post it. It reads like "Women are stupid and will not understand." Also, as a Female AFOL, it is this kind of comment that makes the fan community feel like a boys club and not something to try and encourage other women to join. Or to talk about LEGO With outside Eurobricks To try and pull something like this: As an excuse for a comment like that is unfair to men and women. Especially considering a recent action of terror by someone who believed that thought. So it may be the facts of daily life for you, which is unfortunate, but the best way to counteract a negative is to adopt an approach that is leaning toward positive. Eurobricks is an inclusive and friendly community for all Adult fans of LEGO. So try to avoid comments that insult or belittle.
  23. Yes, as we were all leaving, it got all piratey again
  24. Eh, it is better than gluing some gears and sticking a propeller to something and calling it steampunk.
