Oh excellent! UFO was the first space theme I had a few sets from, those guys featured a lot in my childhood building. Gives me a few ideas of my own...

So I am working on a MOC index, but there are a few things I am doing with it that might cause questions: 1 - Adventure MOCs are in a separate thread to the Adventure Reviews. - There are a lot of Adventure MOCs, not only for Johnny Thunder and Jake Raines, but also plenty of Monster Fighter MOCs and some Dinosaurs. So these are now in their own thread that I am working on, who knows, maybe there will be a lot of Aquazone MOCs and Spy MOCs to mean each will need their own index thread apart from the reviews. Then again, when I finish working out the Adventure MOCs and how to make it work, they might just go back into the Adventure Index. This all a WIP for me. 2 - No Pics! I am not creating thumbnails for the index for two reasons. The main one is to reduce server load on the forum, as I would need to internally host MOC thumbnails, not too much of an issue for a few banner images and tags, but hundreds of MOCs not so much (That being the main reason we request external hosting of your photos). Secondly it means you will go and look at a MOC if the title interests you, not what a tiny thumbnail suggests. I do not want to hurt feelings by leaving out bad photos etc so just the MOC Title will have to do. Of course, the Adventures MOCs are so far divided by subject (Vehicle, Air and Sea Craft, Scenes - Ruins - Structures, Layouts) so you have some idea what you are going to look at. Any opinions on this?

I have had a go at exporting and fixing things to how I like them and it has been a very useful tool. What alterations I have done to the data are basics like spacing and a little bit of a text change (Eurobricks becomes Review as I am following our indexing style etc). I can't suggest anything that needs changing, as everything is pretty fab as is. I am not sure if anyone else has been working to update their theme indexes, but I am sure they'll have feedback when they do.

Yeah, WHSmith has had stock that sits for a long time, I was able to pick up a LEGO Movie ice cream van set, plenty of mixels and nearly the whole Cars 2 medium set range. Our local branch has a Clearance outlet, so all the branches in the distribution area send along the excess/outdated stock. At the moment there are plenty of the books with a minifigure. It does mean you can get old sets at retail, it is always a temptation.
