  1. That is something for later, I know I plan on sharing mine
  2. The female head was Mary Jane and also appeared in other Studio sets. The head at the bottom is a general one from city. If you want to find more faces that are scared like that, you can search it on bricklink.
  3. Change the record, seriously. Chima Magazine lasted a few issues later than the final wave that was released, I'd imagine something similar to happen with Nexo Knights. Some sort of Final Issue splash on the front page and a note at the back about the other LEGO magazines available.
  4. You know, the more power shields I look at, the more I think it was a shame that the theme is ending now. I just love the colour scheme and designs for the figures and shield powers. There was some real graphical design talent invested in this theme. Its also too bad that there is never any "Art of" books for themes (like those released for films). Anywho. I might take a look at that contest too. I do like to build.
  5. There are also ones that only come on postcards and the like aren't there? Or have you already eliminated that from your reasons?
  6. I have been to Billund a few times now, but not since the LEGO House opened. Though I am off next week to Billund with the Event and the LEGO House is part of the trip! I'll have to report back.
  7. Never did turn off from LEGO, I have loved it since I was young and carried on building and playing the older I got. Other hobbies existed alongside, but I was hopeless at video games, disinterested in make-up and fashion and happy with my main hobby being LEGO. I joined the online fan community and just continued onward. Like-minded people existed and were friendly, it was great! It has become more accepted with TLM being released, people realise AFOLs exist. There is a TV series on in the UK for building LEGO in a contest setting. With LEGO becoming as huge as it is, there is more exposure to the epic sets that are a bit beyond children. I have never been ashamed for buying a set or felt I was too old and as I explain to people, I find LEGO to be the most successful form of cognitive therapy available to me. Building a MOC or a set really helps me deal with anxiety and stress in a constructive () manner. Now family friends get me LEGO as a gift, ask if I have seen sets that impress them or what I plan on buying/building next. Their children know me as The LEGO Lady (cutely enough, one of my biggest fans brought his friend to meet me and they spent a while going through my photos on my phone). I just keep on building.
  8. Very good, a bit different from LEGO, but it is hard to describe exactly what is different about it. The colours are consistent, the parts fit together well and the plastic is good quality. The figures are the only real let down, but nothing beats a LEGO minifig.
  9. Oh please do! I want to start an Adventurer's club and the more the merrier yes?
  10. Congratulations kritch! Your car has been chosen as the winner. Well done and jolly good show! Come and see the other great entries in Action and Adventure Themes
  11. Ok, so from the annals of history and the time I was Queen of the Clone Brands. This very nice Jerry Can is like a modded tile. These odd parts are Cobi I have more to add once I get photos of them, but these are the ones just hanging around on an old brickshelf folder.
  12. Lester is pretty pleased to be travelling in that nice car. I want to thank everyone who participated, who voted and who just came and took a browse at all the MOCs members have been posting. I absolutely love those who embraced the story aspect and added their own little bit of flavour to their entry text. Not only does it make me happy to see builds in my favourite theme, it reminds me that people do value this little subforum and that the work I put in is appreciated. So, Thank You All. Keep an eye out for more contests in the future.
  13. Someone mentioned there were a few members waiting, so I took a look.
  14. Hopefully that has cleared the issue for you. The uploader is a strange beast.
  15. The votes are counted and soon I'll be packing my bags to see the excellent vehicle for my adventure! Congratulations @kritch, it has been decided that your vehicle is the finest for my journey. If you kindly message Peppermint_M your address I shall travel to you forthwith! Never fear other entrants. There are still hats to be handed over. @Sci-FiFleetAdmiral(2nd place), @Extrarius (3rd place), also @Dorino, @Space Police XVIII and @Bricknave (Joint 4th) you each have your choice of hat for your profile. Just let us know here in the thread which one you wish to have. Well done everyone and thank you for your many wonderful entries, it was certainly not an easy choice for anyone voting. Keep your eyes open for more adventures and contests here in Action and Adventure themes.
  16. Sorry! You missed the voting deadline I'm afraid. But in the event of a tie break I will take these into consideration.
  17. When I went to edit your post I had little trash can icons on your pictures in the upload space. Do you get those also? Or should I just delete those for you?
  18. So, here is a question: Can you access a gallery? I can't recall what can be accessed by a member. I can look at my uploads, tick things up and delete them. Otherwise, let me know the files you want gone and I'll shift them.
  19. The upload space is only for avatars and a few LDD files. So that is full. I will poke around in my own attachments to see if I can see how to delete. Posts auto-merge when made in quick succession with no replies between them. I don't know the exact timings.
  20. Voting is now closed! Will get to work counting up later today.
  21. Harry Potter is in the title of the thread, it is not difficult to see that this is a thread for Harry Potter. Please go and discuss Unikitty at length in the appropriate thread.
  22. I have a mix, I have photos of the items in-situ and the inventory on rebrickable.
  23. The point of contests is to get people building and posting more on the forum, so to push them all into one place during the entry process defeats the purpose of running the contest. That is why there is then a voting thread to find the entries and award points. A raffle is a way to grab attention, with such low entry requirements and a random draw to win the prize there is a lot of people all posting what could even be four bricks roughly portraying the "theme" and the better builds get lost unless the creator posts them as a separate thread later. So, yes, there has been a flurry of activity now in A&A with Lester MOCs, with the contest at the voting stage. My hope being people might think to build a little more within the theme and post a MOC or two. If you take a look, there is a dearth of threads before the contest started. The last few days of the contest was the most activity in a long while.
  24. Joining just to sell is not allowed here on EB, I would advise some community participation before you start trying sell.
  25. This is rather fabby, the SNOT technique makes a good shape to it. The compact look matches Classic Space very well. One thing though, I like a bit more blue on a classic space MOC (unless it is the all grey look) so a little more blue in this and it would really pop. Also, the "Astromech" is very funny. The expression is perfect and the spanner is very practical.
