geometry confusing - how is this angle not illegal?
Peppermint_M replied to Jon22's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Have you tried getting the perma-link address and pasting it into the post? Here it is for anyone wondering. I can't see an issue on the technique, in fact it looks fine on the completed side? I have used something very similar in MOCs and there is no tension or damage for the parts. -
The uploader is for an avatar only, so a small image. Eurobricks is not an image host. For MOC photos, you need to use an external image host and then link the photos here. Plenty of people use Flickr and I have had success linking from Instagram also.

Help with identifying parts/sets!

@Holodoc I looked up Milky White in the colour index It is a part I saw once when I was browsing the colour (I wanted to use milky white in a project). -
Help with identifying parts/sets!
Peppermint_M replied to WhiteFang's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Hello! First quick tip: The space on the forum uploader is for an avatar image, not really anything else. You can use an image host and share photos that way. So - This https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=650#T=C Rather an old part you have there. The sail does not match any of the LEGO designs and I can't place it amongst the clone brand sets I know of. Those roof tiles are Betta Builder parts by the looks of it. You have some nice vintage finds there! -
[MOC] Agents Turbo Pursuit Vehicle
Peppermint_M replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ah yes, the A meant that my Agents vehicles excited the children when I displayed them, they were Avengers things Alas, this theme was from over a decade ago now (things keep reminding me I am not young now) Now I have shared it, the car is in parts and I am building again. -
The LEGO Agents have a new vehicle for their fight against Dr. Inferno! The Turbo Pursuit Vehicle is high powered and high speed. Ready to take to the streets and chase down the criminal element. Finally built some more Agents, I loved this theme when it came out and bought a lot of the sets. I built this a while ago and while there is nothing wrong with it, it is not what I was aiming for with the original idea. So I took a photo before I took it apart and started a new thing.

These are great little builds, they almost look like gaming pieces for a roleplaying game. I love how you have got plenty of character and detail into small builds.

I love it. There need to be more bonkers MOCs like this, everyone needs a good surprise/laugh

A piece of true beauty. The shaping is superb and of course the symmetry is spot on. The leaf underneath is another work of art. Thank you for sharing this

I have been sorting mine out now. About two years ago I had a big old sort out of my parts and took apart a lot of old MOCs and sets. With all the downtime after work (Key Worker ) I need something to destress with. I am nearly finished sorting and I have not got enough storage boxes! Then I can get down to building again . So yes, I can reiterate: Never too much LEGO, just not enough space (or boxes!)

Eurobricks event 2020 Billund sign up topic

I don't think that would be a problem for me. -
Oh yeah, it hits from time to time right? I was explaining both ICQ and MSN to my younger brother! @Jim - This looks like a good idea? Updating to sites people actually use now?

Hello and welcome to the forum! There is a dedicated Technic section here https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/forum/115-lego-technic-and-model-team/ If none of the current threads cover your issues, you can post your own thread. A simple title that gets to the point (Eg: Differential Help) and a post that details the problem (maybe with photos if it is a tricky to explain issue) will be fine. Of course, I am no expert on Technic or that section of the forum, so your problem might be solved in one of the topics in there already. If so, someone will hopefully be able to point you in the right direction. Most people here are very friendly, but there are a few grumpy people. So don't be discourage from participating if someone seems a little short toned.

Catching Carla Corona....

A squad of true heroes! Creative characters and a good tool for educating children and celebrating the Key Workers fighting the fight. Thanks for sharing. -
I will forever love seeing your creations, they put LEGOLAND displays to shame! That is a most beautiful hedgehog. I could see it scampering across my garden in the night. (We even had one in the house one summer, it got in through the open backdoor and surprised us all!) As ever, thank you so much for sharing.

Help with identifying parts/sets!
Peppermint_M replied to WhiteFang's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Those look like the very old Megablocks figures from the late 90s. The red one looks especially like one my brother had in a box of Space/Alien bricks (I had a motorsport bucket myself). I am trying to find a picture reference. Unfortunately the set falls into the double black-hole of being something from the early days of the internet and also something that people are not super interested in cataloguing or archiving. EDIT: As unparalleled supreme Queen of the Clone Brands, I have located your alien dudes. -
Help with identifying parts/sets!
Peppermint_M replied to WhiteFang's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The most frustrating thing is: Red is a test colour when they produce prototype elements. And red is the colour that size technic axle is produced in. So, it could be some stray part of a test batch that made it out into the wild and something happened for them to decide against mass producing them -
Excellent. Some enjoyable material to browse!

Beautiful meerkats! They are very cute. More excellent animals from you are always great to see. Thanks for sharing.

We can not know either what restrictions might be imposed by the Government on the tourist spots either. Here in the UK, holiday camps and the like are being shut and people discouraged from visiting their holiday homes. -
What Discontinued Colors Would You Like to See Return?
Peppermint_M replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
As bad as it sounds, I can't find where I first read about the dyes. Maybe it was only hearsay? On a personal note, the old greys look so grim even when fresh, that I do not really miss them?
