LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Rogue Angel replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Ninjago series makes a little sense because the character variants seem to be so popular, and apparently there are a number of major civilians that have not been made yet (not sure, never watched the show). Disney makes complete sense because there is an enormous stable of Disney movie leads (20-30 movies for 50-60 potential characters at least) and there have only been a handful of Disney sets to date. Batman makes NO sense because there are only 20 or so main characters in the series and THEY HAVE ALL BEEN RELEASED IN SETS!!! MULTIPLE TIMES. I don't want any more variants or any more batman villains (Please can I waste a CMF series on a new Killer Croc, a Toy Master (or whatever his name is) and a "Batman in track suit" figure?) No thank you. -
Excellent contours on this build, and the staircase is well done! Great MoC!
-
Beautiful MoC, and great to see you building in Avalonia! The building technique and look if the stone and timbers on the tower is excellent, but the character of the tree is just amazing! So organic!
-
I like the Color scheme on the tower, as well as the building technique. The vegetation is well done along the shoreline. Very pretty MoC!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
Rogue Angel replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This series has been a whole lot easier to feel for than I expected. Now that I'm down to Knights and Winged Warriors to feel for, it's a piece of cake! (As long as those tricksy astronauts don't get in the way) -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion
Rogue Angel replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I have never seen a CMF line in such numbers this far after the release..except maybe series 7, which seemed to be far over-produced, and then series 8 was under-produced. I think a critical error was not including any good army builders in the monster series. I really loved the figs, but there was nothing I had any urge to collect in mass quantities. In regards to the Feb release, it is really frustrating how they've gone from a quarterly release schedule to almost monthly. Jan - new TFA sets Feb - CMFs (should have been Jan, was in Europe) March - new OT sets (should have been Jan, was in Europe) April - I assume 2nd quarter releases May - Hoth UCS (should have been OCT 2015) Frustrating! -
Arabian Knight! Awesome! Other great potential: Rogue Mariachi (this could be great or huge miss depending on how they do him.) New dog Penguin New baby Snow Queen if done correctly Imp I am less excited about now, but you never know... Cyborg Pirate and Spy could all be decent but I'm not expecting much. Arabian Knight is an Uber-army builder, while Rogue and Mariachi could also be army builders for me. Looks like quite a good series!

OK, 1. Very medieval 2. Google shows them wearing hoods 3. Could possibly be a warrior 4. No instrument 5. Not an Executioner, Warlock or monk This all points to Peasant or Thief. Thief/Rogue makes more sense from the possible warrior perspective, but it could be a peasant/Merry man and also be a warrior. Peasant/Merry man is more obviously medieval than thief/rogue, and it was an extremely medieval figure....

Why? Religious concern? I doubt that's an issue, especially if they are making an imp. The likely candidates would be Monk/Friar, Executioner or Merry man if you're thinking of generic medieval folk with hoods. Sorcerors do not uniformly have hoods, and we already have the wizard. It could be peasant, which would be awesome, but my thought is monk/friar, which is still excellent.

Welcome back Angeli! It seems that the Drow menace will once more need to be purged from the surface of Historica. -
[MOC] Temple of Shanara - Kingdom of Hybrasil
Rogue Angel replied to Fantu's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Fantastic layout! The combination of white and gray with gold trim works really well for Elves, as do those arched doorways. I really like the raised corridors running through the trees, the integration of the trees, and the huge amount of activity shown in this build. The sheer size of the layout is superb!- 22 replies

I had always done the standard baseplate until the CMF bases showed up, and those are my standards for photographing. My brother is big into Warhammer Fantasy, and has been trying to get me to build an army from Lego. It's on my to-do-list, but that list is very long .

[Frozen Beyond, Cat C 1] Snow in Kaliphlin
Rogue Angel replied to Gideon's topic in Guilds of Historica
So you got a little snow in Kaliphlin - are you going to just park your camels on the side of the road and walk home? (That's what sometimes happens here in the southern U.S., but not with camels). Nice snow, and vultures!- 24 replies

It doesn't matter if it's modern or ancient. Some armies were very uniform, some armies were varied. If you like your armies to look varied, good for you. If you like your armies to look similar, that's fine too. You have to look at the composition and command of an army to determine what they will look like. It varies. If you think everyone's armies should look uniform, you are wrong. If you think everyone's armies should look varied, you are wrong. If it's your army, whatever you do is right.
