  1. Cheers very much for puting up the review. I'm not a huge fan of this set; some nice prints on the figs, and I like the solar panel tiles, but it's not great value for money. Since the theme does not really appeal to me, I shall not buy it. But hopefully the solar panel tiles will be available soon on Bricklink
  2. 10257 Carousel, Assembly Square and Pizza van. If forced to pick one: Assembly Square.
  3. We established it as dark turqoise (colours of these pictures is way off); not used very often, and only recently reintroduced with a Friends set. I love that colour, and I'm glad we will get some more parts in it, now.
  4. Yes, this isn't even close to what it should look like. Compare these with the ones over at Zuzammengebaut. No idea what filter was used here, but especially the dark turqoise is way off. Set is brilliant, though! Nice to know we have something new to build during the winter.
  5. Yes, the antenna might indicate something like a radio station, a small newspaper office or a journalist's office (given the fig with the camera on that floor). Which would be great. Can't make out any details, but the boxer now pops out on the left of the first floor, so that might suggest a gym, or a boxing school of some kind. Anyway, this set is ours. Ours I say! Yes, that looks great! Any detail on this set yet? I can't make out the number, nor can I find it anywhere online.
  6. Fair enough, but from what I've seen from Zusammengebaut in the past, I don't think he would base it on one leaked picture alone. Let's wait and see. The suspense is killing me. Killing me!
  7. This is true; it means there is no confirmation from LEGO, nor is it imminent or to be expected. But, given the detailed information on Zusammengebaut's site, and his reputation, I think we can safely say we're getting a diner.
  8. Oh, now you really went out on a limb there, didn't you? Daredevil. Nice one! Press the eye icon in the menu bar of the text field. It's to the left of the smiley icon.
  9. I love this design, by the way, be it fake or not (I lean towards legit). Great Hopper-inspired ground floor façade, lovely colours; we could fit this into our city no problem. No big fan of the 50s American design in general, but it looks great.
  10. Funny, first thing I thought when I saw this picture was " Jamie Berrard!"
  11. Yes, the last two were BB (corner) and AS, so a "normal" building would be the most obvious, given the schedule. I just hope LEGO will continue the streak of release dates (the last four were 1st of January), the wait is killing us. I'll be happy with any theme, but I agree we could do with more living space. It has probably been discussed before, but something seems to have changed in news leaking prematurely. First news on Winter Village Station appeared less than a day before the official pictures were presented. If we have to wait until after Christmas for some news on this modular, desperate measures are called for. Like designing and Bricklinking our own!
  12. I like this set, i really do. But there's no way we can fit this into our city. Only other solution would be to put this on display on its own, but that's no option for us, I'm afraid (the only exception being the Millennium Falcon... I mean... got to get that...). Great set, though.
  13. Love it! Realistic façade with nice colours. Very well thought out interior layout, and nicely detailed in the back as well. The ground floor interior is my absolute favourite. We would add this to our town instantly. Even with one floor less, it would still be brilliant. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  14. What a great scene. Lovely colours and a great perspective and depth in the background. The details are amazing, including the crooked blinds in the window, the curtains, the electricity box in the corner and so on. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  15. Nice one! Great façade, fits in perfectly with the rest of your buildings, both style-wise and size-wise. The blue is a refreshing change from the "normal" modular colours. Favourite bits: The travel agency and the entrance. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  16. Does such a concept as "too big" actually exist, in LEGO?
  17. First thing we did as soon as we built it. Looks so much better! The Octan building, fake as it is as a leak, actually does not look too bad. I very much doubt we shall get a corner building. For us, anything with a bit of living space on any of the floors would be perfect.
  18. I like them both; true, the cottage is a bit out of scale, but its design fits in perfectly. We did change all medium blue parts to tan, since we did not like the blue look too much. If I was forced to pick one, it would be the bakery. Just.
  19. It's pretty nice, it fits in very well with the other WV sets (both style-wise and size-wise), and I love that bus. The figs are a bit unimpressive. No reason not to buy it
  20. What a great scene you created. The houses go very well together, and there's a lot happening in the pictures. I especially love the white house on the left, and the open backs reveal a lot of lovely details. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  21. This is smashing. Great scene you created. The house is brilliant, and I love all the details in the scene. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  22. Cheers for the review, WhiteFang! Very informative, as ever. Wow, this set is absolutely brilliant! Not a great fan of Ninjago, but I'm going to get me some of these, a lot of them more than one. Very versatile, some of these figs, and some terrific accessories, too.
  23. Hey dan76, I think this is a great idea, I like the possibilities these parts offer. But, I am also not interested in non-LEGO parts. So I can only hope LEGO might introduce a part like this in the future. Maybe you're asking in the wrong place, I'm sure there is a market for these. Best of luck, and keep clicking those bricks together!
  24. I vote for #6 and #7
