  1. I love the idea of a garage, especially as a corner building in 50s style. We'll see if it's legitimate. This, indeed!
  2. Annoyingly enough, it sounds like that, indeed. I could really use a lot of those parts. Here's hoping for a few decent sellers on Bricklink... Or I could just take a budget flight to China, bring back 400 sets and sell them here for 200 Euros each
  3. That set is so cool! Looks like a number of these tiles are printed, too. Great scene; hopefully we'll be able to get it at a decent price in Europe...
  4. Could also mean music store or record store
  5. Yes! We saw the façade a few days ago, now it's the complete set. Looks like a nice new printed 1x1 round tile, too. Sadly, it looks as if these sets (Dragon boat race, Chinese new year, Dragon dance) are not going to be released world-wide?
  6. That was my thought as well, but since new CMFs are still a bit away... Well, wishful thinking, perhaps Anyway, it's the 20th now, and I'm beginning to get itchy. We desperately need modular news! Have pity on us, LEGO, I mean, this is to us what "The white" is to the Jem'Hadar...
  7. Hmm... I just spotted a new mould for a little bird. If that is legit, it might be from the new modular (not that it says anything about the type of building). Hope it is for real, though, the bird looks perfect! I have been waiting for something like that for years (pigeon, sparrow or the likes).
  8. Fantastic creation, inside and out. The angled façade is terrific and I love the little shops and stalls inside the mall. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  9. Chinese New year promotional set, perhaps? Some nice figs, though, hope they're by LEGO.
  10. Very creative and original design, and a lovely combination of different styles. The interior of the in reception hall is smashing, and I really like the combination of the masonry bricks with the tan tiles in the façade. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  11. Lovely! Some great parts usage, and the interiors are fantastic! A tremendous amount of effort must have gone into this. Not sure about the purple tiles on the façade, but that's me. And easily solved, too Great creation. Keep clicking those bricks together!
  12. Cheers for putting up the review. I like this set a lot; it looks slightly higher than some of the other WV sets, but it will fit in very well in our village.
  13. That looks suspiciously similar to the post office by @Bricked1980 I love that one, by the way; would buy it instantly.
  14. Is that what BrickLink calls "Sand red"? That would be brilliant. We've been trying to build a MOC modular in that colour, but the availability of bricks is very, very limited. When looking at the colour, one must admit it is a great colour for city buildings.
  15. A pharmacy is a great idea. We saw this one online some years ago, and converted it to a 32 wide modular (original is 24 wide). The façade and interior are great. https://www.brickpirate.net/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=8245
  16. I agree, but LEGO is not going to release a church set, methinks, due to religion issues. We built our own, for our winter village, based on one we found online.
  17. Most logical place is inside the house, maybe on the first floor.
  18. Well, the box says it includes one.
  19. Looks very promising; a bit different from the previous buildings, but it looks like it will fit in nicely in our village. And yes, looks like a fire truck of some kind is included. Well, what would a fire station be without one. If the 1225 pieces are correct, this is a very decent size set. We shall definitely buy it. Hope the Winter station will be back in the LEGO online store as well, we missed it last year. All of a sudden it was removed from the store.
  20. What a lovely little car! We shall definitely try to bricklink a few together in different colours, for our village. Make it into an old-timer parade or something. Thanks for providing the instructions, and keep clicking those bricks together!
  21. I think re-releases are great for people who missed older sets. I have them all (WV), so I shall not buy them, even if they have new or updated parts. I just do not want the re-release to come in stead of a new release. Same as with modulars. As long as we get a new release, a re-release as an extra would be great. My point exactly!
  22. Now, being a nerd, that would suit me VERY nicely! Also, the idea of a 16x32 modular is interesting, but in that case, I would very much prefer a release like Pet shop: two 16x32 buildings in one set. But I'm not all too demanding, as long as I get my yearly fix of a new modular.
  23. Isn't that this one? www.brickshelf.com/gallery/marco9999/LDD5/8285_b_tow_truck.lxf Or do I have them mixed up. It is on this page (not indexed yet, so not on the index page); see the comments of the original poster):
  24. That looks brilliant. I love the façades and especially how their distance to the road varies. The centre staircase is teriffic. Favourite part of the interior is the fish and chips shop. Would love to see this in real bricks (and build it myself, too!). Some parts may not be available in the colours you use them in, but that will just take some minor tweaking, I think. Keep clicking those bricks together!
