  1. Maybe it got switched to the other side? Actually, the more that you look at this model, it is completely different than the previously seen one.
  2. The original 42039 looks like it was done by a completely different designer than this new official model.
  3. Who really cares if the shape was captured closer to what is the most current real life auto if the model just doesn't look good? And since when does Lego worry about what is realistic when it comes to a non licensed generic model? Look at the hot rod from this year. A V6 engine in a hot rod?
  4. I don't see any trademarks or licensed logos on it. Lego could have done whatever they wanted. This model looks like it was completed and then rushed to change it into something else at the last minute. I love the colors, but this is not a pretty looking model. Looking at the pictures on the two boxes, there is no question as to which one would have attracted more potential buyers. This new version looks like some type of aquatic sea life with those dishes for headlights. Hopefully the "B" model is what the A model originally looked like.
  5. I wonder if the roof was left open like that so that a lever inside could be moved around for some type of function?
  6. It does look more like a combination of the pictures that you posted, but it just doesn't look like it was done as good as it could have been.
  7. That is a very reasonable price for red chrome wheels. How much is shipping to the United States?
  8. I guess because there were pictures and physical 2015 models in it.
  9. Do I see light blue gray hubs being used with them?
  10. Didn't he design that little helicopter for this year?
  11. LOL. It's just that these teaser threads seem so silly. This thread has over 1,000 views and it isn't even 12 hours old and there is nothing really to see.
  12. Just post the pics for crying out loud. What is it with people and these teaser pics? Are we going to see something revolutionary?
  13. Paul, this thread was part of the 2015 thread and was split from it to form it's own thread when the reverse engineering stuff started to be discussed and some controversy began to brew.
  14. 21 12L flex axles. Some prices are not bad, but most people only have one or two. At least there are only 12 #3 though. Maybe the new motorcycle has 12L in it?
  15. That is going to be a difficult one to reproduce with only that one picture.
  16. ^^^ I think the point those guys were making is that the new set pictures have been getting discussed for the past 5 pages in this thread for almost a week and you basically described what everyone had already known.
  17. Those look like the wheels (size wise) from the 42000, but If you are referring to the tires, I think they are too big for a model of this scale.
  18. You know, it is so strange that Lego would make new curved panels for the 42039, but not new wheels. It looks pretty good though. Interested in the functions. I don't really like the Motorcycle's colors as they look wired. I wonder if the final version will have stickers? The little dump truck looks nice.
  19. Possibly why they also used LBG toggle connectors in the 8081 instead of producing black ones.
  20. Wonder if any of the new sets will have any #3's in it? Prices are crazy and the only bricklink store that has any at a reasonable price has a minimum order of almost $130.
  21. Are any of these sets Power Functions?
  22. Nice video. I have mine almost finished, just waiting on a bricklink order for 4 parts the body. The model is awesome and everything works as advertised. The door mechanism is especially cool and unique. This is right on par with the Vampire Gt. Maybe even better.
  23. I built the Tumbler and maybe it's just me, but overall the wheels feel a bit small for a large scale supercar. Maybe it is because the size of the actual rim. I'm not sure.
  24. I finished up the entire chassis last night. Going to start on the body components tonight, but I am still waiting on 2 orders from bricklink. You really did a spectacular job with this. The suspension and steering are perfectly executed and work very smooth. Can't say for sure just yet, but so far I think this may have your Vampire GT beat in terms of build quality.
  25. I think I remember reading under the new terms that they didn't want any ideas based off of current ideas or licenses.
