Well done for your first ship, I also like the playability, a feature my ships lost in the persuit of more historical accuracy. As for the ship type I can't help you out really, it will probably be classified as a fully rigged ship when added to the index. Great job

Great work, I think this hull size is ideal for brigs. The shrouds are my least favourite part though but I know quite well how difficult this can be sometimes . I see this ship as the perfect polivalent ship for entrepreneurs, fast enough to evade any larger battleships while still able to take on enemy schooners.

Nice store, love that parrot cage, I'd say the minifigures fit the interior, refined

Well, many pirate builders did, atleast that was my impression a while back when the new friends cruiser was discussed here. But now that you mention it, I haven't seen many ships with the white hull yet, In fact I can't recall a single one, maybe I was first Thanks.

Well done, I like the different colors throughout the rock structure. I first thought it was dark tan you used on the lower rocks but I'm not completely sure now, is it old dark gray maybe?

A very fine vessel, I'm liking that costum hull, it looks less sleek and sharp than Captain greenhair and bonaparte's design though. Perhaps it's because all your sails are of the same size while normally, on a threemasted xebec, the rearmost should be smaller. The sails themselves look very nice for a bluecoat ship .

Nicely done, I like the channel around it, together with the landscape the fort stands out, great angles .

She has a sleek hull, I like it. The part I like the least is the bow, ironically it has much resemblance with the original set, this ship would really be complete with some proper headrails, I hope you consider adding those . Keep it up!

What a steep cliff, I hope the pirates get a hold of the treasure, nicely done!

It happened, eventhoygh I promised to myself it never would, after seeing AC's Vesta going down at the museum... My ship crashed down from the shelf, I can't really blame anyone but myself. I think I wasn't fully awake when I wanted to clean some dust from another ship on that shelf . Unfortunatly there's also some permanent damage... A big ugly scratch in the stern hull piece Another scratch. I also found a heavely deformed 1x1 brick but it wasn't part of the ship, it must have been right where the ship hit the table. The sails are useless now, the holes are ripped (holes for attaching them to the booms). Luckely the ship didn't have any costum rigging. Perhaps I should be happy, it could have been worse, many of my other ships wouldn't survive a fall like that. I suppose I'm going to repair her, maybe make some modifications in the proces...

Can someone please help me identify this sticker?
Sebeus I replied to Kattstrumpa's topic in General LEGO Discussion
What part is it applied on? (the picture is kind of small to really see it). -
I was a fan of the original wallace and gromit movies as well as chicken run but not so much of the later productions It became too commercial I guess. Shaun The Sheep by pepik_, on Flickr (I thought this was appropriate :D)

I remember seeing something like that a coule of years back, I doubt I'll find it again though

Very nice! The printed sails look very LEGO-ish. It truly is a beautiful ship

I don't know if you've seen the POTC movies... I didn't fill my ship with the full arnament but she was designed to hold a total of 54 guns (not including the triple guns). And if you've seen the movie you'll know that there is no ship more seaworthy than the Flying Dutchman, infact that ship is related to the sea more than any other . But like I said earlier, we're talking about a ghostship here, magical characteristics and timber are intertwined so it doesn't really qualify for a comparison with a normal ship.

I'm not sure if this will be useful to you but It's something I personally like a lot? The building style you describe sounds a lot like my house-building style, here, you may find that useful. Kolonialbeamter named most but here's another one a sail patcher, that was actually Horry's Idea, you'll find many more suggestions in his thread.

MOC: HMS Poseidon 2.0 (probably a Galleon)
Sebeus I replied to Captain Braunsfeld's topic in Pirate MOCs
I love the accessibility via the modular sections and hatches, I used to build my ships just like that. In someway I do regret my shift in building style, oh well, a ship will always be a compromise . Keep them coming. I don't see anything wrong with that, I wish I would make some more harbours and houses so I could atleast dock my massive fleet somewhere . -
Nicely done, you've raised your ship-building tempo over mine . I like the decorations, like the lion heads on the bow. I think there's too much tan in the color scheme but that's just my personal taste About all of my ships can outrun this one, I have one that can both outrun and outgun her Although, as the Flying Dutchman is a ghostship it probably doesn't count. Also, like kurigan said, a ship with no sails can sail no seas

That's quite a hull collection, more than I have But I must say I'm not using all of my hull pieces either. I hope to see some nice ship with those white hulls. Did you have any luck with that small brown-blue hull? I made my worst ship on that combination .
-
Nicely done, It would be nice if we won, it has been a long time since the last time we got this far...
-
There seems to be a discontinuity in the dark brown hull part, that's maybe just temporarely? I'm looking forward to the headrails, I have a feeling they will look fantastic . Exactly, I always move the widest point a bit more to the front (instead of the center of the ship).

[MOC] Submarines: Mantis and Leviathan
Sebeus I replied to Sebeus I's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thank you, I got the porthole panels from the 1997 divers theme, one of my favourites at the time. porthole panel corner panel I got most of them from this set. They also excist in white and old grey I believe. -
I love it, the painting joke is hilarious, someone had his eyes closed I have a feeling we may see these historically (in)correct references again in future comics. Mr. Townsend will be happy to see his sigfig in a recognizable manner. I enjoyed it very much, haven't counted the monkeys yet but I will . I hope other members are now inspired to also make their comics and maybe then they should be indexed somewhere as well .

[MOC] Submarines: Mantis and Leviathan
Sebeus I replied to Sebeus I's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The Swordfish, a reconnaissance submarine: I created the underwater effect by placing a transparent blue panel in front of the lens . The top of the submarine is detachable to reveal the interior, not that there is much interior, just enough room to fit a minifigure. More pictures in my brickshelf gallery. (I also updated the first post).
