  1. Thank you efferman for your very good mod and also for the description how to integrate it in the original BI - one question though (sorry for a maybe dumb one): is it possible to extract from the lxf file just this mentioned "preassembled steering mechanism"? so i could prebuild the new seering mechanism fro the lxf and then integrate it as described two postings above...
  2. awesome - especially the suspension - very well done - and thanks a lot for the free BI!
  3. wow - very professional instructions - even with PF-cables and strings... thank you for the good model and the BI for free!!
  4. today complete Unimog 8110 for 50€ - without box and BI but still a real bargain... great parts pack, my 4. nimog ;-)
  5. you have awesome and astonishing C-modelling skills! seems almost as good as your 8258 C-model... probably i will buy your nstructions again...
  6. 42029: 45€ 42024: 35€ 42030: 150€ All new and sealed... I think i will store the loader some years until it is Out of production and then i will sell it for at least 350€... ;-)
  7. Yes, but normally One should do the Job very well. Most of the MOCs install them so ist can be easily pulled out e.g. For recharging or for using for another model. You can only drive One MOC at the time ;-) And Brunos Ferrari is together with the huge terrex mining excavator from sheo the only model which needs two of them... At least AFAIK... Indeed:at least for PF the Lego Shop is much cheapier than bricklink.... I always buy PF at Lego
  8. Yes, awesome Car. At starting Time of this thread ist didn't exist.... But Jim: i thought i had read somewhere a postimg of you where you are praising Kuipers Concept Car ( and justifiably so)? Am i wrong?
  9. I'm very impressed... Do you plan making instructions?
  10. Yes, PLEASE!! Building steps would be very appreciated! Thanks a lot...
  11. The 8851 pneumatic excavator is a very good example for a comparison of the old (1-hose cylinders) and the new (2-hose cylinders) pneumatic system. I have build this very good pneumatic-upgrade version posted by MadMax in this topic. And have compared it with the original one which uses the first 1-hose pneumatic system - here is the pic of both versions (left the original, right hand side the upgrade): Well, from a pure aesthetic viewpoint one have to say, that the 1-hose system is way better (just imagine that the hoses can still be shortened a little bit but these are the length of the BI) But if we come to performance than first such a comparison of two identical models with different pneumatic systems demonstrates what a huge leap forward the new pneumatic system is: - way smoother - way more powerful - way more flexible - with the old one you can not simultanously open two valves in different directions BTW: With this upgrade this is a very good excavator - only the look of the cabin is still a little bit "rough"....
  12. Just awesome! but to be honest, i wouldn't have expected anything else than awesome-ness from Pipasseyoyo - he is an extremly talented technic builder - just have a look at this outstanding mobile crane - one of the three best i have ever seen (if not the best) - just the powerfull outriggers and the 4-section boom (at this scale!!) are outstanding - and also the stunning look... http://www.eurobrick...&hl=pipasseyoyo Or his outstanding articulated dump truck: At least as good as Han's one...maybe even more outstanding ;) Unfortunatelly it seems that he doesn't make BI for his MOCs - i would pay any price ;-)
  13. for me DBG/LBG - IMHO white in combination of the XL doesn't look good....
  14. at least the Buggy (front/middle), the orange quad and the green snowmobile are very good models... overall i would say, 75$ is ok - i would not pay more and it is not a real bargain but it is a fair price...
  15. I would even say: 8455 is a must have Set for every technic builder. One of the best TLG ever made... In Germany you can find a used One in very Good condition for about 50 to 60€ if you are Little patient...
  16. i still would recommend 42025 - many parts, great model, very good B-Model(!)... But 42029 is also very good - yes, it's a car and yes, it is red but it is really a great car with one of the best suspensions Lego has ever made... well, official retail 90€ is too expensive but here in germany amazon sells it for 69€ and this is IMHO a very fair prize - more than 1000 parts and apart from a real gear-box it has all what you need for own cars... and it can be MODed very well.... overall: i love this set - one of the best releases of TLG over last two years... so it really depends what you want to do...
  17. At least from the pictures viewpoint the best looking *pure* technic truck/car i know... Just awesome... I think i will build it, can not resist..
  18. if you were a woman i would fall in love with you ;-)
  19. i would buy instructions regardless of the price ...
  20. Has anybody seen this fancy dragster? looks awesome and has a very nifty 2-speed gearbox - at least for somethink like a dragster very smart...
