  1. Well, cars engine's pistons do move while the engine is idling (I think) so you could just plug in an extra motor straight to the battery box and have it linked to your fake engine?
  2. I think your son will adore blood trail!! I certainly would if I was his.... Wait I would still love to have this as a set! xD I prefer the version with the engine sticking out because it looks more 'monster trucky' but my only question is do the pistons move?
  3. Mine is blue and yellow with some red, is that different enough?
  4. I started a mini flatbed truck for this contest about 5 days ago but never made a topic because I didn't think anyone would have the same idea. xD Great minds think alike..... Ours are actually very different tbh
  5. Are you kidding me on...
  6. Fantastic looking car, would be good for kids to play with (or adults ;)...)
  7. Very compact with great functions! Aesthetics are very nice too.
  8. I think it's really good and symbolises the real machine very well. :)
  9. Loved the video on this! Great job as always.
  10. Interesting entry, I like how you compactly & tidily included pneumatics.
  11. I would start over again, maybe not completely, just keep the parts that work well. Try planning ahead, you could design it on paper, then start building. Also, I would suggest you build modular so that if one part fails you can detach and rebuild it much easier, it would also make trouble shooting a lot easier. Good luck!
  12. Have the front wheels as close in diameter to the height of the tracks, put a centre diff between the front wheels and tracks and have a normal diff between the 2 tracks.
  13. I have painted wheels with an outdoor spray paint that required no primer, turned out great! The finish was smooth and shiny.
  14. Cool truck! Will be interesting to see how it performs
  15. I'm sure you could fit in some torsion bar or some sort of pendulum bogie suspension, look on YouTube...
  16. Yeah I've been really enjoying watching this, I think your sons gonna love it! Actually it looks so good you might have to build one for yourself as well! xD
  17. Wow, really super MOC! I love the amount of detail you've put into it, fabulous work!!
  18. If you brace it properly you should be fine. I've never broken a gear, it's all about bracing IMO.
  19. It sounds like you want to overvolt the motor? I'm not sure if lego include some sort of limiter so that you can't do that but give it a try, your motor won't last as long if it works though.
  20. Super model! Looks & performs great!!
