  1. I think it would look fine if you shortened it by one or ever two studs. But I wouldn't let any of the v8 stick out the back
  2. Awesome truck! Needs some custom stickers! ;)
  3. With lego you shouldn't need all the ball joints, just lift arms. But I think you will need ball joints where the rack connects to the hub
  4. Here are some (terrible) photos I took in my iPod. There would b another crank on the one in the photo that would be connected to the servo but this is just a chassis for now... 5. My rc truggy has 3 bell cranks in the steering system and my buggy uses 2. it works very well if there is no slack in the system
  6. iMovie is only £2.99 and had lots of great features! My only complaint is that it doesn't have slow motion and that my version is slightly outdated because I can't run ios7
  7. Yes, this is a very nice set up! :) the only thing I would change is the angle of the springs, point them in, instead of out.
  8. I use my iPod 4th gen. and iMovie! I can make videos in 720p and I have a few good editing apps for photos. As long as you have good lighting the quality is quite good. :) check my YouTube channel?
  9. Belgium? I've been there, I'll need to check what city I went to but it was beautiful!
  10. If you angle the springs in the way a bit more (like in the front) it should feel a little softer... or use softer springs...
  11. If it's only letting you use a comma couldn't you type 88,0?
  12. Couldn't you just use two flex axles per side?
  13. I think the 9398 would be a good start. Or you could buy the motors, receiver and controller from Lego. OR you could wait till the new Volvo front loader comes out this summer, it's remote controlled and uses different motors form the 9398. :)
  14. If you want to see the accuracy in action I would go for more speed (2 L motors? ;D)
  15. Ok I tried to figure out how much torque I could produce but the results were terrible as I don't know how to find the efficiency of a motor.... The metal connector should also be made soon...
  16. Most crawlers use a 4 link set up, I'd look at rc crawlers to see where they mount batteries and motors.
  17. Mine isn't brushless either, I've seen the exact motor for about £10, maybe I'll get one after I test out this. :)
  18. I have a truggy with a 540 motor, it's really fast but I think it would destroy lego. Maybe I'll try a 380 after this, thanks. (I wasn't sure what size was smaller than 540) Also, does anyone know how to calculate the torque of a motor? (Preferably in mNm)
  19. I thought about doing that before but it would also double the friction, which would slow down the motor. I hope my trophy truck will be flying over the bumps. xD
  20. Hey everyone, I have a little money and I'm wanting to build a trophy truck but I've ran out of independent suspension parts. Would you guys reccomend buying the new snowmobile for £15 or some other set with independent suspension?
  21. In the centre of the opposite axle if I recall correctly...
  22. In real cars the suspension does sag a bit, but these are some cool ideas. :)
  23. I think it would be cool if you could design your own model from each series to give us examples. :)
