Car Lift
Rishab N replied to Sheepo's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
This is awesome. I'm impressed at how much weight it can lift. Will definitely try to build this sometime in the future as i have a spare XL and switch -
I'm collecting parts for this and some of those tiny parts are very expensive. What parts are missing from the parts list?

Just set up a listing on Ebay for a used lot of minifigures. The highlights include Commander Cody and the original Catwoman. US buyers only http://www.ebay.com/...84.m1558.l2649 Thanks for checking this out Rishab

Awesome work you really made it look as realistic as possible. I love how you did the front with all those angles.

The Lego customer service is some of the best in the world IMO. No matter how big the flaw is they're always kind about it. For instance I ordered 30 rectangular panels and 4 wheels, and it shipped without the panels(Not sure how they missed that); however, customer service resolved that extremely quickly

I'm still not a huge fan of the model, but this is one awesome review. The effort and quality can be clearly seen and I hope you continue making reviews like this -

Audi R8 V10
Rishab N replied to Sariel's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The car looks a bit blocky as it is studded, but it's an amazing creation as it is easily recognizable, and looks stunning. I like how it has no gaps and am very impressed that you stuck with the limited color scheme, yet still made it look amazing -
Nice modification. I like how you filled in all the gaps

Definitely worth the wait. It looks like a Koeingsegg or a Gumpert. I love the use of the helicopter blades and the overall looks of the car look very solid. The only things I don't like are the front headlights and the color scheme. I know its good that its not the cliche red, but I just don't like the orange and white together. The underside also looks very good due to its smoothness and no gears showing. At first when I saw the car, I thought it looked too square, but after looking at it for a while it doesn't seem that way anymore. Also impressed by how subtly the gears for the doors are placed. I didn't see them for a bit. Overall amazing job and it definitely lived up to expectations
