    I hope the colour on the sails is the same as before and that the colour on the boxes is just enhanced to make it look better, like hamburgers on commercials... : P Well, not that lego sails are as bad as hamburgers.

    I just visited a toy shop, to which I often go. I asked the owner when the pirates stuff is coming out. He said he doesn't know if it will be released at all, because it isn't in the product catalogue he got for 2015. I also cannot find the new sets on the lego.com shop (though I'm on a phone now so it might be that...). They haven't cancelled pirates I hope? :(

    I just ordered the two sails without skulls from the Brickbeard's Bounty (they are getting quite rare...) set to replace the skull sails on the Brick Bounty when it's released. Are they the same size and colour? Why do they have to have those sails? Why would the pirates announce so blatantly that they are pirates? </3 Anyways... So looking forward to the bluecoats now. Oh, I also ordered a used Soldiers' Fort from 2009. Will be nice to compare it to the new Soldiers' Fort, and to have some battles between the Lobsters and Frogs.

    I just bought the junior set (and 12 minifigs...), will open it when I come home. I'm excited to see the bandana mold in the brick... Then I can decide whether to get some old bandanas for the upcoming pirate sets, or mix some old and new ones.

    Is the junior set only available from lego's official site? The set gets quite expensive with shipping cost... Would be much nicer to buy it in a store. There is no Lego store around here.

    I think the Gondor soldiers look really fine. That helmet works for every army. Also, the armour fits them because they are pretty heavily armoured in the films.

    I wouldn't want new pistol and rifle molds : P They still look awesome. Timeless designs. I really hope the new bandana doesn't look as odd as it does in the pictures... Otherwise I'll try to BL some I guess, or use the few old ones I have. I have two old monkeys so I don't miss it that much. It's good with lego, if you don't like the new animals, you can just use the old ones. Really looking forward to the figures and the ship. I feel sorry that I don't have any of the classic panel pieces :/ They are probably expensive nowadays.

Why didn't they give her a helmet? </3 Are women too beautiful to protect themselves? The goblin/orc is great too. Unfortunately: The wizard lacks a hat The female cyclops isn't that cool...

    Tbh I kind of wish we won't get more licensed stuff... I loved LotR and would have liked to get all the sets, but licensed sets are just too expensive. The most over-prized set I've ever seen is the Lonely Mountain set. I think it costs like 1200 SEK at the cheapest place, and the set has around 800 pieces. My guess is that Smaug is supposed to make up for those 400 SEK but I don't think he's worth it. :/ I used to buy lego from amazon.co.uk when I got the first LotR stuff and Castle 2013. Back then the GBP was pretty cheap and there was free shipping (the good old days). Now the GBP is expensive and they have shipping costs. My only hope now is original lego sets because they are the only ones I might be able to afford :) I won't speculate in this I think. When we get news, we'll know. And it seems there might not be a Castle line at all in 2015... How long is it usually between Castle lines?

    I think I we are getting the classic old map in the Brick Bounty set. :) The only thing I feel is missing in the sets are the big panel pieces from 2009. Those would have made it look more substantial. Otherwise I don't think that there is any difference in the quality of the sets. Cool minifigs too. I don't know what to say about the bandanas until I have them in my hand (hook? xD), otherwise I can get some old ones.

    I'll at least get one of each sets, including the junior set. Possibly multiples of soldiers' outpost and shipwreck defense. I've only got one redcoat and a few revolutionary soldiers though xD I might have to get me some of them Lobsters!

    Hmm... Not sure at all what ship to like more... I think they were more generous with the 2009 ship with those windows for example. But I don't own that one, so I will get the new one, if not for the design so at least for the cannons (I own no new ones) and the hull pieces (and of course the figures).

    I really think it's a completely different piece from those pillars.If you look very closely on the masts on the Brick Bounty, you can see that things stick out directly from the mastpiece. So I think there are holes for technic pins in them. I hope we'll get better pictures soon... And I hope the pieces are good : P

    Just a thought... Have you noticed the mast pieces on the Brick Bounty? They aren't those expensive pillars from the Imperial Flagship, they are new mast pieces (and I'm not sure if I like them).

    Hmm... This sounds like an interesting idea. I hope something like this will happen. The upcoming Pirates sets have got me really hyped up about pirates xD I'm even trying to find the parts for my old pirates (now where is Redbeard's torso!?)... It would be cool if we had pirate clans (kind of like in the manga comic One Piece by Eiichiro Oda). There is the Marines who are fighting against the pirates, and different pirate clans competing for supremacy.

    Why don't they use the good old palm pieces? Those technic things look odd... But I have to say the use of those leaves make it look very palmy :) It looks like the main difference is that the 2009 sets used panels and the new sets don't... thus they look smaller. I think the panel pieces of the 2009 sets looked good, so I regret not having any :/ Would have made for a bigger fort. I can't say I miss having big blue plates in the new sets. Sure the old sets look like they're in the water, but I think you might as well buy an extra blue 32x32 baseplate if you want to have water. :)
