  1. Don't look at thiscthen. Personally I prefer it like this Doc I agree, that hotrod is lovely...
  2. Nice model good job
  3. Awesome work so far good job
  4. http://legomuppet9.blogspot.co.uk/ All my MOC's plus updates on WIP's etc, all in one place. Plus links to my Flickr and Youtube
  5. Very nice, loads of functions in a compact model which looks good
  6. Blackbird, nicely put. what aqaz said is what I personally like to do as an MOCer, but Blackbird summarised it perfectly and I can't find fault in your argument. I quite often flick through instructions or step by step photos and have a look at how people created stuff, and then combine various different components into my model
  7. Congratulations Piterx, wish my blog got those kind of numbers... (648 pageviews since December ) The car looks great
  8. Adobe is great, but GIMP is free, so GIMP is what I use
  9. http://gears.sariel.pl/ http://sariel.pl/2009/09/gears-tutorial/ This'll probably help a lot
  10. Yes i hadn't actually finished the chassis, and if you were to read the topics instead of spamming them with useless comments then you'll see that that project is scrapped..
  11. Yep it used sheepo's http://www.sheepo.es/2013/04/mps-rear-axle-iv-live-axle-with-leaf.html And don't worry about the Ford Capri, it was never going to look like one anyway, however that may be achievable with the smaller one
  12. Update on this project, I am scrapping it. The reasons are because I simply do not have the parts or the skill make the complexity and scale of this model work. Instead I am going to build a smaller car without a gearbox but instead with the following functions: Rear wheel drive via a XL Motor and differential Front wheel steering via a M Motor Full suspension, front independent, rear I have not yet decided, possibly independent I'll have to see Fake V6 engine Decent bodywork, as this wouldn't have been achievable on the bigger model with the parts I have I leave you with some photos of the almost complete chassis which is as far as I got on the big model. I will now disassemble this and start building the smaller one. 13. They also have them for clearing the way and DLuders, the correct term is "Hull Down" so they can only shoot at the turret, American tanks are good at that as a lot of them like the T29 have incredibly tough turrets
  14. 1TB of free space (over 500,000 photos..), which for Lego is more than enough
  15. Brickshelf files need to be moderated, so they weren't yet public (they are now), so only you could see them. That is why I personally do not like brickshelf and instead use Flickr...
  16. Looks great, but perhaps the center of gravity is a bit too high...
