Hi! I wanted to make an El Camino a long time ago, but I don't make "normal cars", so, I think of mixing some Dragster aesthetics with the classic El Camino 72 SS look. So this was the result. It's 8 wide, room for 2 minifigs. I try to make an engine most detailed as possible in a room 4x5 studs. Sorry (not sorry) to the Lego Purists, I paint the covers on the front wheels and the back rims with Silver Chrome and then with Clear red. the rest of the chrome parts are custom parts professionally chromed by Chrome Block City. Hi! I made this Challenger using only leftover parts, from other MOCs I did. Since I don't have the Dodge Challenger set, I made my own. Initially, I didn't know what car I wanted to make, so I look at a Joker Minifig and was taught: "I Have to make that smile!" The rest was building with the flow. I made it in 4 hours using only trial and error, using only the parts I had, no instructions or digital building. I'm not sure if this belongs here or in Train-Tech. Regarding My Hover vehicles, I also created a Hover Tram (or passenger train if you prefer) Nothing much to say, well, yes, it has the tan train windows, I didn't pay a fortune for them, I have had Emerald Night Set since the day it was released :) Hover Tram 2052 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr Hover Tram 2052 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr

Thank You! yes, chrome gives another extra to the build :) I love to do complex and minimalistic things at the same time, like the contrast! Very kind words as always! thank you so much!!

The underneath reminds me of some HR Giger paintings, it is something mechanic, anamorphic and sexual I Like that!

Fiat Multipla will seek revenge on everyone who calls him ugly!! I made this as a joke, after building the regular version of Fiat Multipla I was thinking, this car looks like a frog... so I build the limbs, The most difficult part was stability, but I figure out the joy of balance, just to not slip I put rubbers on the feet. Wow! Such kind words from you. Thank you so much! I love to spend my time on details, I think that is what drives me, the rest I don't know how and what magic formula I use, I just do things, I don't consider myself as a genius, just have a sensitive eye who loves to capture and study most of the details of everything. I'm also not a Cars guy, I don't even have a driving license :P, but I learn a lot with building trains and try to apply it to other themes as well :) The front page was a bonus, I didn´t expect at all :D Do you think? It's a minifig/Speed champions 8 Wide'ish scale model, I think I is too small to be consider a model team. Thank you So much :)

I made this rat/hot rod from scratch, not an exact replica of any particular car, just inspired by some Hot Rods and Rat Rods around. Rat Rod SB35 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr Rat Rod SB35 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr

Your holy grail for me is still the 57 Chevy, but this F40 is really close to the top1 of your builds!

This is an Impala I made trying to recreate with Lego the one that Ice Cube drives on the music video "It Was a Good Day".This MOC had some challenges, making an articulated suspension to simulate several positions and support the height of the car. Also, the green mudguards were a pain in the megablocks to find, it was released only one part in just one set (Marvel Superheroes set). The chrome touch is made with the parts I bought from Chrome Block City. The Ice Cube's bandana, I paint in black one pirate bandana, then I draw by freehand with a Sakura pen and finally put some Tamyia clear gloss varnish. Hi! Maybe you expect a Ferrari... Well, close enough My entry for the Festival of Mundanity, hosted by BrickNerd and The Lego Car Blog. Fiat Multipla is probably one of the most atrocious cars ever made, It is ugly and mundane at the same time. I made it in 7wide'ish and actually had fun building it. Hope you don´t like it! Hi! Inspired by Bladerunner, I turn the Corvette V8.R from the set 76903 into a Spinner. I did a lot of changes using some leftover parts from my old Bionicles and Exo-Force parts. I also included non lego lights to make the moc a little more "Alive" Corvette V8.R Spinner 2049 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr Corvette C8.R Spinner 2049 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr

Lately I've been inspired by making flying cars, I had already made this taxi a few years ago in its "normal" mode I decided to give it an update with a lot of greebling, using only parts I already had without resorting to new purchases Inspirations from films like 5th element, Bladerunner and even Back to the future 2. the color scheme refers to the old taxis in Portugal, the taxi driver is a man with a sullen mustache, just like the taxi drivers in Lisbon Cyber Taxi 2067 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr Cyber Taxi 2067 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr Cyber Taxi 2067 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr Cyber Taxi 2067 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr Cyber Taxi 2067 by Sérgio Batista, no Flickr

Hi, although my favorite theme is model trains, I can't miss drinking sources of inspiration elsewhere, lots of details, greeblings and some construction techniques used in Space, and Sci-fi vehicles are amazing and I love watching competitions and MOCs from this genre but in fact I never dared to do anything... I've recently started to see some BladeRunner-style "space car" works on flickr who inspires me to give a try. Most of the locomotives I make are orange and I had some parts from other projects, I saw that I also had some Bionicle and Exo-force parts and I started to play and see what came out and this was the result. The base of the car is a Dodge Charger, and by the color, obviously I had to make a General Lee from the Dukes Of Hazard, the rest was to do the greebling with what I had at hand. I hope you like my first MOC with real parts of a Sci-fi vehicle. LEGO Malayan Railway 20 Class - Narrow Gauge Train MOC
Sérgio replied to LEGOTrainBuilderSG's topic in LEGO Train Tech
This is might be my favourite Lego build of the year in general, the attention to the detail is fenomenal and the full featuring (sounds, lights, etc) makes this think to another level. The way you find to make the windshield without be a copy of Tony Sava's Santa Fé design is one of my favourite things, I might be copy your windshield for future projects 😅 Also, great job on the decals, that is a surgeon skilled job! -
Thank you! The roof technic inspired by some Erwin Jacob's designs. I would love to make this complete train too 😎 Thank you! I don't think your cars look like toys, they are inspired/replica of old coaches they were shorter than the most recent rolling stuff. I think your trains are amazing and inspiring me too.

Here in Portugal I've always felt alone when it comes to model trains, I've never had other people who could discuss ideas and improve my constructions, there are people who have tried to make replicas of Portuguese trains, but actually here it's everyone for themselves and I feel I have nothing new to learn with them. I aspire to know more and I've been following the work of Dutch colleagues for a long time, I decided to send a message to a distinguished builder, who has works that I love, @raised I told him I was interested in taking the leap to 8wide and if I could make some constructions inspired by his ideas. The answer was positive, and he present me to another two great builders, Erwin and Nicolas, since then after some study I have done my first 8 wide project, Replica of newly recovered Arco carriages. Biggest challenge was making the sides of the carriage. on the boggies I got some help from Raised. The first pieces are already on their way to make this real. Hi I bought the set 76119 some years ago at half of the price on the grocery store, I build it and store it. Recently I need some parts from the set to build a MOC, it happens I take some spare parts and had 4 hours modifing the set to look more like the Tim Burton´s version of the Batmobile. This is inspired on the 1989, not a replica. My favorite thing was using a bionicle part on the back of the car. Hope you like it!
