Takargo Rail is a Portuguese rail transport company founded in 2006 by Mota-Engil, the company was the first private train operator in Portugal, operating trains in 2008.The company is involved in the rail transport of maritime intermodal freight and bulk freights. Takargo only Have 3 Models of Locomotives: Euro 4000 from Vossloh/Stadler MX-620 (class1550) from Montreal Locomotive Works and 1400 Class from English Electric. this is my favorite one, it is smaller, but strong, it is agile. 7wide, lots of snot, the most satisfied part for me was building the cabin with two windscreens 2 x 6 x 2 on sides and flags on top. this locomotive is prepared to have 9V or PF/PU it have room do pass the cable, but the Battery box have to go on a second waggon (I build a small waggon to that) the truth is, this is a second version, because I build this locomotive several years ago with real bricks, before even exist that curved slopes or round plates 1x2

Hi, This is more an inspired by and not a replica. The original name of the real thing is "Rail-Route truck IPV model M 20.23, 50nº VS 9 M32023 T 1015036 (NEV 99 94 990 3001-6, from Mota-Engil, Engenharia e Construção, SA)"

Great model, love all the greebling details! I Think, bending all those hoses so perfectly on LDD that must be a pain in the megablocks
-
I find a better solution, with less Gap and thinner middle section, now I'm 100% don´t mind the diferent colors, it is the same model, but diferent color scheme: I'm a 7 wide guy, Iberic trains have a larger gauge than normal, so I try to keep that in mind, and if I build an 8 or 9wide model, it won´t fit with the rest of my trains :) The middle section of the windshield is 1 stud wide, that makes the ilusion of shorter windows, I change to 1plate, and now have the proportions mere like the real thing :) I can't make this on Stud.io,or LDD but in real bricks I "fixed" the tile like this:

Hello! Motorized with L Motor (PF)

Hello! My attempt to do an Old Electric Portuguese Locomotive. Motorized with Power Functions. Some parts do not exist in some colors, but I have no problem to paint if necessary The most tricky part was the windshield, However I'm not 100% with this solution, I'll try to improve it later.

Sérgio replied to Sérgio's topic in LEGO Train Tech
No it doesn't move, I don't mind, I barelly use R40 curves :) -
Nothing against Sava's design, but it is refreshing to see (finally) an F7A build in a difrent way. Great job!
-
Because it looks like the hoods are not even part of the locomotive with that gap

Some updates:
-
I saw that mods two, but I don't have that parts yet, the next big step maybe will be correct the rods

Hi, 10 years ago I made this with some left-overs: I Improve some skills and Lego also made a lot of new parts, so I remade from scratch this locomotive: 7wide, 50studs long, 2L PF motors, and the fan on top spins when it runs. This is a render, I don't have enough parts yet to build in real life. Hope you like it.

Hello, I come here to ask for help. I no longer work on Stud.io for a few months, from what I remember when I wanted to render with Photorealism, I just had to enter the render settings and choose the folder where the final result would appear. I put a model to render, as my computer is old it took almost 8 hours, when reaching 99% the image simply disappears and the folder I defined as destination is empty. I tried to find the rendered image (.png) in the search of the whole computer and I couldn't find it anywhere ... I made a short video of what happens when it reaches 99%. can someone help me please? Thank you.
