  1. Thank you so much! It is a Random tourist, someone who was there (this was filmed at São Bento Station) one Saturday morning, 2 months ago, and picked up my loco without asking when I was distracted with other stuff... I asked to not use that footage, but it was too late... They actually move the "Miradouro" Real-life train to that station to match mine, but none of the coaches has the same color/livery as mine that is the "problem" with this consist, there are several different colors for the same coaches, you will never catch the same train twice. I was also lucky to have a cab ride on the CP2600 for 10 min, one of the Railway company directors was there and invited me, but there is no footage of that because "it's not allowed" for non-employees to enter inside the locos, it was "off the record" CP was great to me. I'm very thankful for what they did, for our hobby! Thank you so much!
  2. Thank you! Someone has to test it, and the speed of this thing is huge... not! Is slow as a Snail, like the real-life one :P Thank you! I uploaded a Video made with the Cube Circuit App
  3. A couple of months ago, CP Comboios de Portugal (Portuguese Railway Company) contacted me to do an interview for their Social Media and magazine. It's in Portuguese, but I did my best to add subtitles in English
  4. Hi this is the same model as CP1401 but with the classic blue color scheme It has 2 PF train motors Buwizz 2.0 Ludricous (But I don't use the Ludricous mode, this is not a High-speed train :P) DYI Lights It can run alone or synchronize with the CP1401. This is part of my Consist "CP Miradouro Phase 2" which has 2 Locomotives and 5 Coaches Now, some " CP Miradouro" consists The funny thing about the real-life train is the inconsistency of the rolling stock, it's almost impossible to see the same train twice, sometimes it's just two coaches, sometimes it has two locomotives, sometimes are fully colourful with several different coaches, sometimes are the same colors, etc Now the full train has 3,60meters long, but unfortunately I don't have enough room or backdrop to take a nice photo.
  5. Thank you! They are all complaining about the noise, especially on the curves, check this "cab ride" Dracula is a "private joke", Sintra is a mystical place with a lot of fog, old palaces and castles, because it is between the ocean and mountains, and you have scenarios like this with "floating castles"
  6. Yes, they are R16 curves Thank you! I didn't take a proper photo yet, but they are just plain boring flat wagons
  7. A historic tram connects Sintra to one of its most popular beaches, Praia das Maçãs. The line was inaugurated in 1904, but today's red vehicle dates from the 1930s. It maintains its original features, such as wooden benches and brass dials, and while it’s a slow, noisy, and bumpy ride, it’s a fun experience. The complete 13km(8 miles)-journey takes 40 minutes, passing through the rural areas of Colares towards the coast. The LEGO model has around 2000 parts (including the base/diorama) and it's motorized with Circuit Cubes it has 2 motors, One for driving, and another to invert the Rod "Panthograph" It has Room for 16 minifigs.
  8. Thank you! It's the bottom one plus the blue coach with white doors (3,50 meters/ 11ft long) Thank you, yes it's kinda "American" because of the Budd patent :) Thank you! Thank you!
  9. Freaking awsome curves!
  10. Thank you so much! Copy past it's way more quick on Stud.io :P Thank you Thomas Thank You! She is my side kick on buildings! Thank you!!
  11. Sorefame (an abbreviation of Sociedades Reunidas de Fabricações Metálicas) was a Portuguese manufacturer of railway rolling stock and industrial equipment, such as dam gates equipment. The company was established in 1943. From the 1960s the company specialised in the manufacture of stainless steel carriages, principally for the Portuguese Railways (CP). The stainless steel carriages were built at the company's factory in Amadora under licence from the Budd Company of the US. (By Wikipedia) In a perfect world, this should be built in Metallic Silver, But I'm not rich, so I use several shades of grey (LBG. old grey, burned by UV grey, vanish by age grey, etc.) to give an old aesthetics. Initially, I had planned to make interior details, but this coach has already 1 KG and will be part of a train with 6 coaches. so no more bricks on it I'm using bricktracks train wheels with bearings and neodymium magnets fun fact, most of the build is an upsidedown building :P (By Wikipedia)
  12. such a lovely build
  13. Hi guys. Some new stuff. Locomotive is an EuroSprinter from 2007 (pre-Vectron) the full name is Siemens ES46B1-A It has the Old CP Carga Livery before they change to Medway, I prefer this one. The most challenging part was making the big logo on the sides with bricks. The Lego model is based on Beck's with and TBX Nicolas Enhancements Vectron It has custom M-size wheels, actually, I have two packs, one 3D printed by Brickthebrick with the brake disc and another that is a Mold injection prototype from HA Bricks. I use the 3D printed ones for photos and static exhibitions and the mold injection ones for running, the 3D are OK for running as well, but the HA Bricks wheels are better for running 2 Powerfunctions L motors and a MouldKing Battery Hub (its more compact and versatile than the LEGO PU) but I will change to Buwizz as soon my wallet gives me permission :P Funny easter egg, most of the technical info on the decals are also in Scale as well :) The waggons are Portuguese hoppers TDGS used to transport Cereal/Grain Each waggon has around 800 parts, and they are small but with a lot of details, I made 8 waggons (the red wheels are not from Lego), the real train has 18 waggons, but I don't have more room, money or patience to make another 10 :P The Entire train has 2,20meters long
  14. I spend 45 min looking at all the details! great job!!
  15. I wanted to make a Beetle for a long time... But, as usual, not a normal one. This is a RatRod/Slammed/Rockclimber/Flamethrower beetle. Minifig Speed Champions Scale The custom rims are made by Brickthebrick
  16. I was inspired by Alejandro Burdisio's artworks. I made this just for fun using parts that I rarely use. the base model was my old 7wide Henschel & Sohn CP0186 it was a 9V train and it didn't have enough room to be upgraded to another motorization solution. I'm not running 9V trains anymore, so I decided to change it to something strange just for fun. I believe this belongs more here than the Train Tech, correct me if I am wrong. :) I added some non-lego lights from a Fun Whole set that I received a few months ago
  17. thank you! The guys on the shunting like to play a lot :P The "sunset" color is ver cozy indeed! Thank you! Thank you it was a fun job finding that solution! Kudus to the real-life model! Thank you! Thank you! just two train PF motors, however, the coaches have bearings, so there is no stress and glides well but I just try a few meters, I don't have much room for more test runs Dark Side is cool, but now I run by the Creed because it's the new trend, This is the Way! Thank you! Thanks! Thank you, you are always very kind!
  18. Great design! the middle cars are similar to the Portuguese ones indeed, If I rebuild my in 1:45 scale I might borrow some ideas from your model!
  19. "MiraDouro" is composed of the CP 1400 series diesel locomotive and Schindler Tourist carriages. This is my favorite consist nowadays, actually, there are several colors and variations, and it's hard to find the exact same configuration the next day. The Schindler carriages - produced in the 1940s by the Swiss manufacturer Schindler and put into service on the national railway network between 1949 and 1977 - have recently been restored and their panoramic windows can be opened during the journey. It runs daily between Oporto São Bento/Campanhã and Pocinho and back. About the model - Circa 10000parts - 5KGs - 2,50meters long - motorized by 2 PF motors + Buwizz - front and tail lights - full interior - 8 months of working
