The rule applies to builds licenced in your name - so licencing a fourth build in the name of the Royal Society would be fine Licencing one for a Trade Company would work as well, provided that you are not the only member of that company - in short, if you're not licencing it just for yourself, you should be fine

[COR - MRCA] Captured Ship, Don Obello, 5LA
Garmadon replied to SilentWolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Very nice curves and lovely color-scheme, Silentwolf, and I really like the sails as well! Certainly my favorite ship from you yet - keep up the improvement! -
Sea Rats: Sign-up and Discussion
Garmadon replied to Darkdragon's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Welcome to the Brick Seas, SodorBricks! Neat sig-fig, very nice backstory, and stupendous name (the actual one, especially)! Looking forward to seeing Arrow's adventures! -
Light trans-blue water usually looks good, but you've taken the whole build to another level here! The colors pop as usual from you, and the vegetation, rock-work, and pool work together perfectly! Excellent story as well, and the hint of something more at the end was a very clever tie-in with the challenge! About the waterfall itself, I believe that my main suggestion would be the same as Kai's (that is, to put some white behind it - here's a larger example of that), but I would also suggest maybe adding some more stacks of 1x1 rounds around it (if you had any left) to avoid the gaps in the waterfall, and to leave out the 1x1 plates, which don't really make sense (why would the water do that? ) and which look a bit odd. Overall, definitely an excellent build, though - and I didn't mention it before, but the bamboo leaves on top of the palm trees' upside down leaves work very well, I'll have to try that myself sometime!

Awesome job once again, Gabe, the terraces are superb, and the house, colors, and rock-work are excellent as well! About Ulandus - its ruler has poofed, but other than that it ought to be doing fine!

At the beginning of this month, Eslandola owned the following ships which require upkeep for July. Active Eslandola-owned ships: Blessed Angel - Class 4A - Captured vessel The Charging Stallion - Class 5A - Light - Captured vessel La Salamandra - Class 4A (MOCed) The Gallant - Class 4A (MOCed) Little Tyke - Class 1A - Captured Vessel By my calculations that should result in 68.75DBs in upkeep for July (after last month's MRCA has been registered), so the upkeep charge for Eslandola is exactly on track (I see you rounded it down, thanks Phred! )

[ESL FB1] The Stormbringer and "Poseidon’s Turncoat"
Garmadon replied to Capt Wolf's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Very nice ship, Capt. Wolf, and immediately identifiable as being from you! Great color-scheme and shape here, and excellent backstory as well! I can quite understand that you didn't have enough light tan to tile the deck (it's definitely a pity light tan tiles are so rare!), and, even as it is, it doesn't look bad, although you may want to try out a SNOTted deck next time you use tan. Excellent job overall, though, and yet another great Oleader Eslandolan ship from you! -
[COR-CH3A] Well, that's underwhelming
Garmadon replied to Puvel's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Perfect expression there on Puvel's face, as well as on the two grinning tribesmen! Very nice vegetation and pond/lake too - although, I have to say, drinking from it doesn't exactly sound promising! -
Love that first shot, Kai, seems like it's becoming a sort of staple of yours! Very nice job with the cotton, irrigation, and bridge as well, and those trees look excellent! I'm wondering if those workers are going to be able to get away with no hangings...

[ESL-FB2] The School Stage - Salida Este
Garmadon replied to Umbra-Manis's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Excellent stairs and great use of those hammers, Umbra, and the odd shape of the base and the lanterns are great as well! Really cool minifigures too (does that pirate shirt on the boy actually exist? Quite awesome regardless!)- 3 replies

[MCTC Cotton 1] The Farm or "Bacon Escaping"
Garmadon replied to Phadeout's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Very nice build, Phadeout! The cotton plantation itself is quite nice, and the irrigation canal running through help to break it up very well, but my favorite part would be the other side - the carrot patch, pigsty, chicken coup, and orchard are excellent, and the minifigures really bring the scene to life! Not sure whether I should feel more sorry for the pig or for the cook though...- 8 replies

Monthly Free Build Registration Thread July 1st, 2016 to August 1st, 2016 What is this thread? This is the thread where YOU register your free build, besides submitting it via the webform. So, why are we doing this again? This thread is both an index of builds so that they may be easier to find for members, and a backup for the Economic Game System. As a back up of Free Builds and MRCA builds, we won't be using this thread for calculating your account. Please remember to submit the form for your Free Build or MRCA build. What do I need to do? Simply write the following information in a NEW post: Name of MOC linked to the thread | Name of Builder | Faction you belong to IE: Smuggler's Cove | Kai NRG | Eslandola Write no more. Note: All free builds must have their own thread, and there must be a link to that thread provided here. After you are finished making a thread, make sure to report your free build via the monthly webform so that you can get credit for it! Remember, if this build is going to have an Economic Game System component (IE you are going to buy a license and make money off the property) you will need to fill out either a Property License Form or a Ship License Form. Do not comment on builds in this thread, please do that on the MOC’s own thread. Can I just post in my faction thread and leave it at that? Um... No. Can I put up an entry for another faction member's build? If that builder has disappeared and we are getting near the end of the month, this would be allowed. What if I can't remember if a submitted a build? If you don't remember submitting a form, use the Free Build Entry List to find out what builds you've already submitted. An email will be sent containing a list of all builds submitted. Spelling is important. Is this just a copy of GoH's free build registration thread? No! I don't have any idea what made you think it is. The idea was a completely original one and has absolutely nothing to do with GoH's one. (Yes, actually it is ) Why does this look a lot like the previous ones? Because it is the same, that's why Previous Months: January's Free Build Registration Thread February's Free Build Registration Thread March's Free Build Registration Thread April's Free Build Registration Thread May's Free Build Registration Thread June's Free Build Registration Thread

Before the High Court of Eslandola
Garmadon replied to Kai NRG's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Glad to see we finally got around to declaring war (), and great addition to the detective storyline as well! The floor and rug look superb, and the wall paneling is quite good too! My only nit-pick would be that I can't see how this can actually be considered decent and orderly if the judge doesn't have the suit and wig! -
Really an excellent first build, Maestro, the tree and half-timbered sections are great, and the vegetation and stone-work are very nice as well - though a couple less colors would probably have helped with the latter (I see others have already been saying that ) Quite an interesting story, and lovely lighting on the first picture - not sure if that was on purpose or not, but it looks excellent! I only wish the full build had been visible in that shot (your other overview pic is not from as good of an angle and is awfully saturated), and it would be good if you could downsize the pictures a little (I usually use the 640x something option when embedding from Flickr). Very good job, anyhow, looking forward to more builds from you!

Very nice bit of landscaping, Kayne, and the riders and their mounts look great as well! As others have mentioned, the way you did the saddles and harnesses is excellent - I've really got to get some ostriches now!

[NAM vs OL] The ruse of the best Pine Sol in the world!
Garmadon replied to Maxim I's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Neat build, Maxim, but that story really steals the cake! Great job showing and explaining the whole process... even if it is a bit advanced for pirates -
Very nice entry, Mpyro, and, while I think that the upper story (especially the buildings) may have had a bit too many conflicting colors and textures, the cellar is really superb! The organized clutter is excellent, and the figs and story are great as well! Keep it up!

Very nice ship, Franco Clarke, her shape and sail-plan are excellent, and I really like the details - such as the lanterns, gunpowder cask, and figurehead - that you put in there as well! My main piece of advice would be to watch the colors a bit - here they seem to have just run away a bit! The white in particular looks a bit out of place, changing that for blue, yellow, or maybe black would have looked a lot more cohesive, or maybe just making the transition from those other colors a little more subtle. Regardless, this has turned out to be a very nice ship, however - keep it up!

Very nice build, Dr_Spock, I'm almost always surprised by how good you can make a rather simple and clean build look! The wagon and field are really excellent, and it's great to see the monkey there! I will agree with Elostirion on the barrels - more, possibly, because such a stout trunk on a short palm tree looks a bit odd than because you used them twice, but that could have something to do with it as well. The stalks just scream Dr_Spock though, so if you messed one up I probably would have had absolutely no idea who had built this

I will agree with the others here, you nailed the ballroom look with the tall windows, curtains, and balcony, Captain B! Very nice figs as well, and I really like your pianist (Gangwolf Movaldi) Great to see Pontelli expanding even more!

Thanks for the overview, kabel! Lovely the colors on this build! Excellent photography as well!

The bit of glare on the first pic really got me! I can see it's higher up in a different picture now though, good catch!
-
Very nice scene, LJ, and glad to see that SK persuaded you to build in our Northern Guild! The snow and ice are pulled off excellently, and the warehouse and inverted ship are awesome as well! I really like that crane, the interior details, and the minifigures as well, but I imagine that using the crane with it's hook stuck in the ice would be very challenging! Great detail though, nonetheless - and is there any chance we might be seeing the ship rightside up and outfitted with a crew of Vikings? Looking forward to more builds to go along with this from you guys!

[ESL - FB] Barrel Factory in Nova Terreli
Garmadon replied to Elostirion's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Excellent job with all the activity going on, and it's great to see the New World being provided with all kinds of barrels, buckets, and chests! The roof techniques look great, and the half-stud offset is a brilliant idea there. Keep it up!- 11 replies
