Thanks for the clarification, Grover! I saw your previous replies about the minimalist WIP requirement. To be honest, I ran into a bit of a scheduling conflict: the first 8 weeks of this challenge lined up exactly with the 8-week run of the RogueOlympics. My building time was completely stretched thin! Unfortunately, I’m not able to provide a photo at this stage, but as my other commitments wrap up, I’d love to dive deep into developing Avalonia and share more progress before July! If my application is accepted without a WIP, my project for Avalonia will be a semicircular open-air theater!

Thanks! To be honest, I’m no expert when it comes to brick-built dragons! I’ve wanted to build one ever since I joined Avalonia back in October 2021—which is also when I discovered Brickscalibur, just a few weeks later. For the build itself, I took some inspiration from the LEGO Elves sets for the legs, then built the head starting with the inside and the jaw; the overall shape wasn't planned at all and just came together as I went along. I really wanted to use those two large Sand Green pieces for the belly, which makes the body look a bit bulky compared to the legs and the wings... you can definitely tell he’s not a master of acrobatics, but he gets the job done! 😜

Thanks for the feedback! The robe and arms are from a Dumbledore minifig, the torso is from the Paladin in the D&D series, and the hair is from the D&D Elf Bard as well.

He does not challenge the mountain with muscle; instead, he commands the earth through the quiet authority of ancient ink. His parchment, a single weathered sheet inscribed with intricate sigils, is gripped firmly as the true source of his will. As the formulas are whispered, the Paper claims its victory. Guided by the shimmering magical dew that flows through the clearing, the heavy, inert Rock ascends, surrendering its weight to the power of the written word. In this silent duel, a fragile leaf of parchment proves that wisdom—nourished by the very lifeblood of the forest—is the ultimate lever, lifting what brute strength cannot move. This character has already been featured in a previous creation, 'The Burning Portal' and a few other Kolgaris have been developed here!

Thank you all so much for your kind words and detailed feedback! @LordDan @socalbricks Regarding the dragon's horns, it’s a funny story: originally, it didn't have any. When it was suggested I add some, I couldn't find any parts that matched the right size or color... until I looked at my alligators and decided to cut their tails off! Now I just have to figure out how to incorporate the rest of the crocodiles into a future build! @Grover: Thank you for the technical advice on the battlements! I’ll definitely raise the merlons. My goal was to give this castle a unique style with the rounded shapes, and I’m planning to expand it further. As for the timing, this MOC took about two and a half months. It was part of a very busy streak where I built 5 MOCs and a series of minifigs between November 1st and January 15th, this one being the largest. @T-86: Actually, I have another Brickscalibur entry that fits into the GoH universe—the one featuring a Kolgari sorcerer! Thanks again for the encouragement, it means a lot!

The Dragon’s Call : Sentinel of Avalonia (Brickscalibur - Beast of Burden’ category) The Dragon Clan fortress in Avalonia stands as a defiant sentinel, built directly into the mountain peaks that overlook the misty green lands. For generations, the Clan’s strength lay in its inaccessible stone walls, but its true power now rests upon that of a dragon... This magnificent creature, the ultimate expression of the Clan’s might, is the most crucial asset in the defense of Avalonia. Once a feared symbol of the wild peaks, the Dragon is now the Clan’s irreplaceable mount, indispensable for everything from swift reconnaissance over enemy borders and transporting heavy cargo to providing overwhelming aerial fire support in combat. The creature’s unique bond is held singularly by Walt Herboï, the first and only warrior in the Clan’s history to earn its trust. To call this irreplaceable ally, the Clan adapted one of its sturdy fortress towers: a massive brazier was installed inside the tower, visible through its highest aperture. When a mission is critical, the enormous fire is lit, piercing the permanent Avalonian mist. This towering flame acts as the most powerful and unmistakable signal, a fiery beacon that the Dragon immediately answers. Responding to the call of its rider, the Dragon takes flight, ensuring that the Clan’s influence, and its unmatched firepower, remain supreme in the skies.

This is my entry for @umbasa_lug « Pirate Contest » 🏴‍☠️ My Moc: The Captain’s CabinBy the flickering glow of the lantern and the warm light filtering through the window, the pirate captain leans over his precious map. Every drawn island, every charted course, holds a promise of adventure and hidden treasures.At his side, his faithful cockatoo watches the scene with a mischievous eye, while a rat scurries by, a silent witness to the secrets being plotted. In the privacy of his cabin, surrounded by his loot and travel mementos, this old sea dog prepares for his next journey into the unknown. My minifig: Captain « Tanglebeard » Captain Mordecai « Tanglebeard » is a master of secrets and forgotten lore. He puts his faith not in brute force, but in his ancient maps and the unerring needle of his compass. Only his cockatoo, « Whisper, » knows the true destination—a secret the old captain guards as closely as the gold he seeks.

I typically never have time to build during the two summer months, but I just barely had enough time to participate in the "Summer Joust" competition in June for the first time this year. The category was "Where no one dares go." I decided to feature this minifigure I created a while ago in a small scene. This scene should be considered an Arthurian legend rather than a depiction of real places or people. This is one of the first times I've integrated lights into a MOC. I hope you like it! Only Silence Returns In a realm forgotten by time, where silence is the only law, sits the Faceless Reaper. He is the guardian of the final crossroad, a patient judge enthroned amidst cold ruins. His spectral sentinels, frozen in stone, watch over the path no living soul dares to tread. At his side, his loyal steed, the Grave-wing, waits with him. Its skeletal frame is a stark promise of the inevitable journey for any who wander into this desolate land. The borders of this realm appear on no map.

@zoth33 Thank you! The knight, bard, and the "wolfpack" elves are the only new additions. I repurposed figures I designed for my initial minifigure contest, "Guilds of Historica," which I had previously used in my first "Brickscalibur" collaboration. This MOC is essentially an upgraded version of "the Rich and the Poor" that I've finally been able to dismantle!

@zoth33 I built this figure several years ago and recently added the shoulder pads from the figure you mentioned. My first thought was to showcase it for 'Capturing Character,' and it became my first Brickscalibur MOC.
