  1. It's a nice wish, but if the Classic Defender in System form was not made in dark green, then there is little reason to recolor so many Technic elements this time. Besides, it's a difficult color for LEGO to produce consistently and I don't think they want to repeat the Sian fiasco all over again. My bet is black or dbg because white would be just dumb (due to the yellowing issue).
  2. The 4 characters are not from the CMF but from the big set. You can see 3 of them in the leaked image too.
  3. It's not a new shield mold, but the regular size. You can see some details in this photoshopped image: That GWP though is pretty lame and for me in no way a Day 1 purchase reason. You can probably just rebrick it for 5 bucks. Maybe I'll reverse engineer it and post the file here.
  4. I don't know if the G Wagon is such a great addition tbh. Remember, you can just rebuild the Zetros into a remote controlled one (cudos to @grohl) and save on cash. I suspect, it will be just a static version like the Defender and pretty much the same size, but with a hefty +70€ price increase. If it was RC, then we'd start at min. 300€.
  5. So according to Brick Clicker 42177 will be a Mercedes G500 4x4. Piece count and price remains the same.
  6. New thick 1x4x10 castle door with curved top revealed in two new Super Mario sets. I have a strong hunch these will appear in the new HP Hogwarts Castle set as well:
  7. Dark red large train wheels:
  8. Glad LEGO recognizes how most AFOL's struggle with space and the only spot left for LEGO is on the walls. But all those 2x2 tiles of the characters could have been printed as a family pack, similar to the newspapers in the Daily Bugle. 300€ and then having to apply so many little stickers like in a children's album?! Just looks at how crooked they are on the lifestyle pics. And after a couple of years they will start to peel off, especially the ones on the curved bricks (airships). The rest looks fantastic, no doubt, and just maybe a bit too colorful for my taste.
  9. It's always worth to check Ldraw forum. https://forums.ldraw.org/thread-27891.html
  10. I would if I had the Ornithopter. Still waiting for a decent discount on that.
  11. My speculation is that the new Reddish Orange color was specifically developed for NASA's Artemis 1 SLS Rocket which will be released this year as the Icons set nr. 10341 with 3601 pieces. And they wanted this years space color scheme to look different from previous white+orange+black combo.
  12. Technically, he calls it the B-model. ;) Or did you see another alternative build already?
  13. Pun an orange sticker over a black one just like LEGO did in this set. At that size it will be hardly noticeable.
  14. Cheers! https://brickset.com/bricklists/author-R0Sch
  15. OK, you could count this one albeit it's a digital dashboard of a motorcycle, but it sure looks similar enough to the D11 dashboard.
  16. How about this one from 42127: You can cut one small gauge off to make it fit a 2x3 tile.
  17. In case anyone wants to rebrick the above M&T set here is are the instructions and the part list: https://imgur.com/a/gNQQ59w
  18. Does is have to be a 2x3 tile? There is this nice printed 2x4 rounded tile: 66857pr0011.
  19. As a motorcycle rider I find this MOC really impressive. You packed in everything important in terms of functions in such a tight space. Didn't think this could be done with LEGO. I really wish TLG would bring back the flex cable to Technic. Maybe now with new materials they wouldn't break so easily.
  20. Another master work after the Corvette C3. Looks spot on! You should design the official 1:12 models for TLG. The. We wouldn't have seen failures like the Aston Martin or the Fiat 500. Those are battle droid torsos.
  21. Agree. According to @grohl's review the mastermind behind this set is the late Jørn Thomsen, who also worked on the EV3 and Boost sets together with Carl Merriam. So it's his opus ultimum in a way.
  22. @LvdH How about the Speedtail then? I guess it ticks all the boxes for a "Multimillion dollar highly exclusive flagship hypercar" being limited to just 106 worldwide.
  23. My guess is also on a released hypercar lauched between 2023 and 2024: Artura, 750S or GTS. Could also be the "older" Speedtail as it's the fastest McLaren car to date. And we know LEGO likes to make headlines...
