  1. Fantastic improvement - excellent job! By the way: How did you manage to update the initial post? I thought that was "frozen" for good.
  2. Hi AllezLesBleuxPX / Mikkie: you might want to take a look at: The great pirate torso LIBRARY (which is part of this forum) I think I might have used some of Woody's designs too: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=412466 On flickr you will find: LEGO Stickers & Decals I hope this helps.
  3. Awesome! Immense level of detail - bold choice of flowers for the roofs! That's the way to go! And so many minifigs (and special ones) to be found. I really like this!
  4. I've been there today and it was great! Thanks to BeLUG - do they accept joiners from abroad?
  5. 166C Ahoy, today it is my great pleasure to present to you something I find nice and funny: The HMS Royal Monkey. It looks like a normal vessel. but if you take a close look, you will find signs of monkey-driven-design And you will find a few guests that have joined Captain Braunsfeld on his journey. Kurigan, sorry, I don't have the exact torso... The key point, however, is the Royal Monkey himself: :pir_laugh2: (Those of you more interested in historical accurateness might want to look at the lanterns instead. And the rudder is actually working!!!) I had a lot of fun building this. I hope you will be able to enjoy it too! By the way, it takes an awful lot of bricks to build a lego-sky-background... :pir-grin: :pir-grin: I am looking forward to your feedback!
  6. The roof!! But also the windows and the overall wall design - innovative! I like the door too!
  7. Nice, sunny, but somehow not peaceful Pictures come across better on flickr, still, I'd like to see more details! And Yussuf is back. Everything is fine!
  8. I'll go with this version
  9. Need to come up with something unusual...

  10. Beautiful!!
  11. I am getting hungry! Great!
  12. Great stuff. Especially, I like the door - and the other details!
  13. Very nice - it's got all the classic pirate look, but at the same time many additions and improvements of the TLC versions. A great galleon! Excellent sails! How did you emulate the "water"?
  14. Very nice - I like the fountain!
  15. Fantastic! I am impressed - we have seen so many excellent MOCs from you in such a short time. So, the monkeys have got the pirate - very good so far. Will there be a third part to this storyline? Your work on the rocks, on the walls and the floor of the ruins (ruins?) is just great! From a topical point of view the next part of the story might be something like a monkey temple ... Maybe you have seen my attempt at such a building: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=86802 It is less elaborate than your MOCs, so I probably need to do a 2.0 version... Keep posting, your stuff is great!
  16. Sorry ED-209, I did not see your question. The roof is a very fragile affair. I have used 2x1 bricks with holes, attached them to each side of the roof and have linked them with technic elements. (and if you look at it, it falls apart...) Agreed - I just had no inspiration at the time. You're right! That's what it was made for Thanks again for all your friendly comments!
  17. Congratulations - you managed several things in one model that I have tried to apply to several of my ships (separately). So, I envy and praise: - the custom rigging (which I have never managed) - the working rudder (yours does not ruin the captain's quarters) - the tiled decks (which I don't do for lack of tiles and so that my minifigs don't fall down all the time...) - the accessible bow (i.e. doors and ladders to reach there) - the custom sails - the ship's bell !! - the great interior design - the accessibility of the lower decks ... and much more! Well done! ... but unfortunately, as I am German, there is some inner urge to apply a bit of criticism (which might spoil the praise, but it shouldn't): For some reason, the ship appears to be 1-2 bricks too high. I.e. if you think about skipping the hold you might find it possible to adjust the overall appearance. (Sorry ) Otherwise: very fine build! The sails are just great!
  18. I like the overall design. (and the historical experts may decide what type of ship it might be) Custom cannon is good! And there is a monkey
  19. Very good - I also want to praise the parrot cage, well done. That is: This is a very fine, detailed shop - and the parrot cage is one of the things that stand out!
  20. A great diorama. What shall I praise first? There is action, there are great buildings, and landscape/plants are nicely done. Cool! ... well, it could be that a monkey is missing...
  21. My plans for the harbor: 1) Based on my collaboration with LovesHouses I am adding custom houses to replace the PoTC tavern. 2) I am adding a lighthouse. This is the work-in-progress: I was happy to reuse a lot of a recent creator set. However, my wife said that a lighthouse needs to be separated from the quay. So, I need to work on this some more time. MOCs are never done... 'til next time
  22. Yeah, woody64 ... that's where I got my shakos (that's the word) for my Royal Horse Artillery from: Chinstraps are one step further - excellent work! The "bastion" is well-designed, by the way, in terms of overall layout. Any pictures of the interior?
  23. The bastion is so well layed out that it is easy to overlook the excellent work performed to create the custom soldiers. Napoleon's infantry has arrived! They are excellent! How did you do the hats/helmets?
  24. Great idea to have such a 3d map. And of course, over time, the siren's music has moved from classical pieces to modern rock! I love the wide-eyed red sea monster. Brick on!
  25. Well done - you put a lot of effort and details into that pyramid. The man is running away from the monkeys? Very good. Nice change from dark tan to tan on the beach. I need to do that too. (I started with a lot of "yellow" for the sand).
