Very nice use of sand green, it works very well, I particularly like the way you stuck it in the bushes.

I'll be photographing a fig or two for Dugal's side, but I just wanted to ask if you want us to use those { } in the topic (both for this and the Avalonian cotton giving challenge), or just the letters inside the brackets? (Or most likely, it doesn't matter?)- 318 replies

Wish we had got a shot of the whole thing, the half destroyed walls really look good. Nice touch with the cape there!

+1 for the shipping by land. Nice job getting cotton to those avalonians!

Great battle scene, Gideon! I really like the use of those slopes for sand, good work with the fig posing as well!

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion

That is kinda funny, the way you put it. It's actually a good point though; often builds that just seem to pop together end up better than ones I agonize over! - at least, it happens to me! -
Great build SK, very nice architecture and I love the transitions from light to dk grey. Good work with the windows as well. +1 DoH credit!

Well you kind of stereotyped life in Kali, . +1 anyway. Like you say I'm not sure the blue castle was an entire success, something about blue and tan that just doesn't quite 'go'. Brownie points for the interior though!

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Welcome mechamike! Good to see you back NM, even if just briefly... I should have a good amount of time during the next month so I will be doing my best to build some Sultan's Gate builds after catching up with the GNAR and the Avalonian cotton challenge. I like what I'm seeing in terms of Kaliphlin free builds by the way! Keep up the good work guys! And congrats robuko, well deserved front page! -
Maybe, but it is the original.

Wow, that wall is fantastic! Great job incorporating those windows too! I'd give you a plus one but you've already got enough!
-
Great MOCs, for some reason I really like that first one, simplistic but it turned out great! Good work with the second one too!

Ninjago. Very nice use there! -
Nice use of color on the landscaping, I've never been a huge fan of dark orange (or whatever it's called), but it really worked well here! Great little bridge too, I'd be a bit leery of crossing though, those poles don't look too strong!

Very nice little ship. I really like that water effect as well.

That makes a lot of sense. In fact, that's more or less what happened; I built the bottom purple section about a month ago, and just managed to finish the rest of the house a day before the deadline! So it's no wonder it looks a bit ramshackle! Thanks!

Great job, way to go with the SNOT walls, and those domes really finish it off. I really like the inclusion of the elephant too!
