Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Kai NRG replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
At least, it's nice to know that it's not official - chances are our sandstorm would have put us over the top! -

@SK Looking forward to seeing you use that lavender! Amazing that you take the time to count it all... -
Beautiful job on the ship, all the details are fantastic! Your editing skills are also superb!

Great facade there, the boxes give it a nice texture.

Those are some really nice trees there! Great work! -

Gilbert, thanks for the recommendation! For the build, not everything posted in GoH has to be related to your character/their story directly; you could just make it something like "the black spire has begun to abuse their power, and is now making the peasants work as it suits them." (Not quite so succinctly, maybe, but you get the idea!) -
A couple of good vigs here dG, particularly the Kali one. Impressive work with the landscaping on top of the rocks in the first one!

Very good work, I especially like all the little wooden contrivances on top! Great job photographing the black too, that something I always find a pain! -

As if that weren't exactly the kind of scenery we have down in Kali's Garr Islands. -

Looks like I missed the CFC challenge (might try to put together a unqualifing entry), but I do have a free-build on its way! Edit: And the free-build: A Child's Dream Not quite my usual type of build... -
Free Build Registration (2nd Quarter,Locking soon!)
Kai NRG replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Just put HSS Challenge Build (or something similar) in red after the rest of the normal formatting. I'm not sure that it counts, but it probably does, and either roug or ska said to put the name of the challenge in red if the build was for a challenge.- 113 replies

If you're referring to the Albion plots, that's for Avalonians only. It's also more of a community build than a challenge, something like our Sultan's Gate.

Very nice job with the vegetation, it looks like it's flourishing! Good work with the waterfall too, there's nothing like a good waterfall to add to an outdoor scene! +1 credit!

The University of Petraea's Doctorate of Historica Program
Kai NRG replied to NiceMarmot's topic in Guilds of Historica
When you post a build you can claim credits for it in the build's thread. Afterwards, it's a good idea to post here so that we know you're looking for credits. If you want credit for a build that you've already finished, go ahead and edit your post + comment here so we can get to it.- 343 replies

You do have to remember to post them in the 2nd Quarter Registration thread though. -

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion

Yes, you can claim both of those. Go ahead and edit it into your MOC's topic post, and then post on the PU DoH thread so we know you're looking for credit! -
+1 UP. Good integration of the wooden house into the rest of the MOC! As a tip, if you would be just a litte more careful with the sheet (or better yet, use paper), as you take the picture, and try to make sure it's smooth & covers the whole background (in the first picture, for example, a slight rotation of the MOC would allow you to keep the same angle but not see the dip of the sheet). You'd be amazed how much difference a nice clean background makes to a MOC - of course, since you built it, you know exactly what it looks like, but we don't, so the better the picture, the easier it is for us to see what you're MOC is really like. (Don't take this as meaning that your photography is bad or anything. It's much better than a lot of people's - including my own, often!)

Welcome to GoH krono, neat outdoor shot! -
Excellent job Gabe - as always, the ship is fantastic, the blue and white go very nicely! Great work with the shape as well, and the water & waves add to it! I'd give you a +1 but looks like you've already got plenty!

I've been having the same sort of trouble - though I was able to hit a little x in the corner where Flickr wants me to download the app, but it does want me to create a yahoo account (which I'm not going to do). So far I've had no trouble signing in, maybe they won't make the switch, but I am not too optimistic. I considered switching to ipernity, but that doesn't allow access to the BBCode, HTML, or even just the simple URL (the one that you can inclose in brackets with the letters img), without a paid account. I'll probably (if forced to by Flickr) use it, but will have to also upload my photos somewhere else that will allow me to post them here. -
Nice work, I like the smooth lines and all the little details!

I like the sort of ramshackle way you build the boar's head, turned out very nicely. Good idea putting it in a swamp too!

I'll have to agree with Scaevola about minifigure posing - especially since it's a pretty easy credit to get for a larger build. Very nice job building the carrying basket, it really turned out nicely!

Age of Mitgardia (free-build-challenge)
Kai NRG replied to Ecclesiastes's topic in Guilds of Historica
I believe that if two of the three core Mitgardians (ecc, SK, and kabel) post a positive comment on your MOC it is considered passed (permission to proceed). Suggested procedure would be not starting the next one until you've passed the previous one.
