Thank you! Thanks Gideon! It's from the CMF Series 4 painter. So technically I guess it's a paint stain.

A great build in your instantly recognizable style! Excellent texturing, and I really like the curve over the door! -
Really cool dragon! Blends in intriguingly into the surrounding rockwork... if the MOC were a little bigger it might almost be hard to spot! Great work!

Very nice build! Really like the pillars! Sorry to hear you'll be leaving Kaliphlin (though as others have pointed out I'm not sure switching is permitted at this precise moment), but I hope to continue seeing your builds even if they'll now be for the wrong guild.

Monopolies are just in game EGS benefits accruing to a member of a trade company that owns a monopoly should said member build something that deals with that monopoly. It doesn't mean that no one else can build anything to do with, for instance, textile factories in MCTC's case. So to make this clear, anyone can build anything. It's just that MCTC members will get extra benefits if they license a build that falls under one of MCTC's monopolies (same for ETWC). And definitely, go for your new company! Having other members is not a requirement for being recognized as a trading company, but it probably will be required before you are added to the front page list. You are of course welcome to recruit as much as you please. A little competition will just make MCTC stronger! BTW, I wrote up most of the first posts so I'm pretty familiar with them. Everyone - keep in mind that switching trading companies is like getting a new job. You can do it anytime, so don't be worried about making a final and irrevocable choice or something!- 780 replies

As you point out, MAESTRO is actually not yet a trade company (it doesn't have a charter) so it can't have members. That being the case, no one can join until Maxim has the charter. As far as I know none of the three required builds have been posted. Obviously the king has not yet granted approval. Of course, MAESTRO can't have a monopoly unless the king were to grant it and that would be a very rare occurrence, not likely to happen any time soon. Please note that there is no prospect that any new monopolies will be granted to any trading companies any time in the future. Just want to make sure we aren't misleading anyone here! Also, creating a new colony might not be so easy, so don't count your chickens before they hatch. Don't want to throw a damper on your enthusiasm, but do be realistic here... trading is important to the Eslandian economy and King Fernando is not going to throw the doors wide to just anyone. Right now, that may sound tough, but once you put the work into it and get a slot, not only will you feel better about your achievement, you'll also be glad to see that you can't be challenged right off the bat by anyone who can get a couple of bricks together. MAESTRO is not even a trading company yet, and certainly doesn't have it's own colony, so do hold your horses!- 780 replies

Very nice interior, really like the green and white section of the flooring!

Simon is right, skip step 2. The forms in the Master Index are correct as well. You can also build a small, free property.

You bet! And what good are all ETWC's wheat and oats, when we've got the monopoly on clothing - both cotton plantations and textile factories? Now that I think of it, that's another reason to join MCTC. Plus, our colors are green and black, which is so much cooler than green and dark green!- 780 replies

Nice sugar cane plantation! The building looks great though I imagine getting all those cheese on top to line up might have been a pain!

Join my trading company because we're awesome. Because we're the underdog, but we're rising. Because we've got a cool dude leading us and not some old fuddy duddy. Because we're going to rule the Eslandian Seas... and all the other seas, for that matter. And because... well, just because! Wow, I ran out of reasons fast. JK.- 780 replies

Since Garmadon kindly left me this question - here you go! Guy's father created the MCTC simply because he was tired of the pre-colonialization paperwork the ETWC required. He had no ambitions for expansion, just wanted to start up a colony or two and take it easy. Guy, on the other hand, is eager to be on the top! He realizes that the Old World is too firmly in ETWC hands, so he's decided to focus in on the colonies as the new place for expansion. Thus, his plans are to colonize, colonize, and continue colonizing! And of course gather some political power and maybe even begin to challenge the ETWC on the home front... ...but don't tell Garmadon that.- 780 replies

Great build, simple but well done. The mouse peeking out is a very nice touch!

Lots to like here soccerkid, your snow is top notch and that lake is just so... cool! The light blue under the transclear is absolutely perfect. Then of course, the keep itself - great work there as always, the wooden structures have an almost gothic feel to them. And a round of applause for including an interior!

Last build of the year from me! Happy new year! -
Welcome to Ageven's summer residence down in Auner! But it's much more than just an exterior... there's a fully furnished set of rooms inside once you fold it out! No manor would be complete without a kitchen! Above the kitchen is a bedroom. Credit goes to SK and LJ for the bed, I took their use of headlight bricks for a spin. Really like how it ended up; I've been trying for a quite a while now to get a good bed design! On the opposite side of the foldout (this picture is taken from the bay window): One of the two rooms with a door (besides the attic) is Ageven's bedroom. This room is located on the bottom floor, right inside the bay window. The other room with a door is very inaccesible for a camera, so I didn't manage to get good pictures of it, which is a shame. It has the same kind of rafters as the chandelier room and a dismantled bed and a large dresser/shelf contraption. Moving upwards, the roof: My last build for the year, I assure you. Somehow it didn't quite turn out as I had anticipated, I think because of the flat roof. I was planning on more of a traditional tudor vibe with a bit of an almost modern touch thrown in with the stair stepped windows (which, by the way, I was super happy with! - even though I did keep running out of tan 1x1s), but instead it got a dash of an eastern feel. Oh well. On the whole this was a rather exhausting build. In some ways I almost like it better than my cathedral, but on the other hand... C&C welcome! Thanks for looking, I hope you enjoyed it!

Very nice build, great interior! For some reason I especially love the crossed legs of the table - mind if I borrow that technique? The stone work is really good!
