    Another day - . I guess you probably know that I built, photographed, and uploaded this in a day? Thanks! I find bright colored backgrounds seem to work pretty well, except for those one or two times when you think, hey, this color would work great! And you take pictures and then realize that it totally clashes.

    Great job giving a somber feeling to this build, the hole in the ground is excellently well done and the fence looks really good too. Nice touch with the gravestone off to the side! The chapel windows look great though something is bothering me about the black part of the roof, I think it just has too much variation with the indents. Other than that, however, great work!

    Garmadon is right, but I just wanted to make things clear as possible: 25 DB for posting sigfig with a bit of background. Then, your first two free-builds every month earn you 10 DB. These are one-time earnings; that is, you get 10 DB once and no more from that build unless you license it. Any other free-builds in the same month earn DBs based on the approval system explained above. These, too, are one-time earnings. You may license these free-builds at any time after building. If you license a ship, you may, but do not have to, participate in the MCRA. This may or may not give you a good return. If you MOC the results of your MCRA action, you earn additional DBs. If you license a property, you will receive an automatic return every month. Your first Class 1 or Class 2 ship license is free. Your first small property license is free. Every licensed build is first a free-build. Just make sure that you fill out the appropriate forms! So yes, it would be a good idea to:

    You can use any shade of green on your fig, but the official colors for the flag are the standard "normal" green and gold. You don't have to include the flag all the time (or even most of the time), though.

    Thanks everyone! Thanks! Milo was right though... ... it is supposed to be just a white roof. However, I'll admit that it looks a lot like snow (more so in the pictures I think than IRL) so maybe I should have just stuck some snow patches on the landscaping and gone with that! Having an interior also made the exterior a lot more work since I had to make sure it looked good from both sides! Thanks! Thank you! Yeah, all those rods are a bit confuscating. Thank you! Personally I really liked the lime green/olive green combo but I can see how it could look a bit glaring. Thanks Puvel! There was no way I could have gone all the way around with the landscaping but I really wanted some in there, so that's what I settled on!

    Yes, and you can always build and buy the license/announce the location later on (but that might complicate the story, of course).

    Welcome UM! The final decision is in - yes, it counts. You cannot, however, purchase a license for any MOC placed in the old world.

    Oh, okay. I think I'll let Ska clarify that then. From something else he had said I got the impression that just posting your sig-fig was 25DB. Anyhow, if the 25DB has to be an intro MOC, then certainly your idea would qualify.

    Really like the way you did the stone work going down the mountain. The sloping path is well done too! The entire MOC has an almost 2D feel. Great work!

    All freebuilds count, provided they are entered into the free-build form. Also, past your first two a month, there is a special approval system. That being the case, yes, building two MOCs would earn more DBs than one. You can build residences and you can say, I'm on such and such an island or whatever, but you won't have the option of choosing plots in a settlement thread (those aren't out yet, BTW) because those are only for licensed property. It will be kind of like GoH where people can have their own little territories but (except in Avalonia) that doesn't really mean much.

    No, you do not need property in the mother country (in fact, you are not allowed to own licenses for any builds in the old world). You may immediately begin to build in Nellisa. Claiming territory: we're working on mapping things out and all. Right now there are four Eslandian settlements, see the second post in this thread. Over the course of the next couple weeks we will create settlement threads. Each settlement will have a map. For now, go ahead and build; you can buy the license and assign yourself a plot later on. For now, you are not allowed to make up islands, but those will be revealed by leadership. As for other exploration; you can charter a new settlement on a current island, provided you get approval, and you can free-build wherever. But you will only be able to buy licenses for free-builds that are in chartered settlements; unless you want to do things illegally, in which case, well, don't expect me to help you! Seriously though, I'm not sure what the rules relative illegal squatter settlements are... ...that sounds funny.

    We're not too picky. It would be ideal if you could get a green flag later on, but for the meantime dark green is fine. Do keep in mind that dk green is one of the ETWC colors though.

    Your sig fig grants you an automatic 25 DBs. If you build an intro MOC, that will count as a free-build, 10 DBs. I'm not quite sure what you mean by the first challenge. Where did you hear or read anything about a first challenge?
