  1. Hehe! Seems like our good model might have skipped "leg day" once or twice! And I suspect he might be wearing heels... Seems to be rather tall! ;) We can always count on you for some unconventional innovation! Great work!
  2. Corrington has only the discreet ETTC and the not so discreet WTC. The ETTC works by pm, and I don't think we have a topic describing us. For the WTC, you should ask Drunknok or Mesabi
  3. Dear sir, the BoC prides itself in its flexibility. Hence we offer a multitude of lending schedules suited to many different business needs. Hence, interest rates are dependent on risk profile, collateral, and repayment schedules. Please send us a short description of your needs and we will discuss it. (PM me) Sincerely Sir Edward Summerridge Executive director, BoC
  4. @Phred The Mardierians had taken the requests on good faith, and although they had taken their time to reply, it had been clear that they wished to maintain good relations with Oleon. Aboard the Royal Philip, the spirits were high, and various strange beasts and more than a few women had found their way aboard, helped along the way by seamen who had either secured permanent ownership or temporary services as be fitted the type of... Guest. Everyone was enjoying the shore leave and easy duties of keeping harbour watch, and the Mardierians had been very forthcoming in terms of fresh supplies since the port admiral had been... convinced of Oleon's good intentions. "Milords, representatives from the foreign ministry here to see you." the flag lieutenant announced with a sharp salute. "Finally! Show them in at once." As the delegation entered bows and greetings were exchanged as the Mardierians took their seats. "Mardier has considered your petition and wish to impress upon you, that his most exalted Majesty values continued close relations to Oleon beyond all others. Let it be no secret that Mardier has few friends in these dark times of the empire, and knows to treasure those loyal allies. " "However, Mardier cannot abide any official recognition of Terraversa or Prio as independent states. Any such action will be considered an affront to his Majesty and the empire and cannot be ignored. While Mardier will not meddle in petty affairs such as the destination of merchant vessels and who they trade with, former territories are still rightfully subject to the Mardierian crown and the separatists traitors and deserters. Temporary setbacks in the war has forced us to currently ignore the feeble claims of these separatists, and we consider the current peace a truce to facilitate the rightful return of Mardierian territories." Pausing for a moment as to gauge the effect of these words, the official continued: "There are still many subjects in those Colonies loyal to his Majesty, and Mardier considers it her duty to support them politically in any way possible. We do not... currently wish to ignite new fighting by aiding them militarily, but the territories must be returned. There are many means with which such support can be... discreetly given with great effect. " The Mardierians have given us what we came for. How should we proceed? - Splendid! The relations with Mardier are stronger than ever, and we are free to trade with Terraversa as long as we do not officially recognise their independence. Let us head back to Granoleon to report. Show the expedition making its way back or reporting to the ministry in Oleon. Will break off the adventure. - Perhaps there is an opportunity for more? The Mardierians are desperate for friends. Perhaps now is the time to press for a formalised relation. We should seek a defensive or perhaps complete alliance, or maybe exclusive trade privileges. Show further negotiations with Mardier and what agreement is sought between the two nations. - We still know little of Mardiers capabilities - the Red cloaks are still our best bet. Send them into Londa to gather intelligence. Show the Red cloaks spying in Londa and what information they seek. One build is required to continue, but more are encouraged. Let us know if this leads to any questions. Sorry for the delay.
  5. To Richard Brickford Dear Sir, you are hereby appointed Royal surveyor of Quinsville and required and requested to proceed to the settlement with utmost dispatch, there to assess the state of the settlement after the retirement of Sir Smaugton. You are to report on the current status of the settlement, suggest plans for development and notify the colonial governor in King's Harbour of any short-comings. In terms of the defensive status of Quinnsville, you are to confer with the military attache sent to aid you. In service to her Majesty, Captain Jno. Cooke, RN Colonial Governor, Southern Isles To Captain Nathaniel Bickford, You are hereby ordered to proceed to Quinsville at once, there to act as military attaché to the Royal surveyor, advising him in all matters military. You are to report on the defenses and troops once your assessment is complete, and suggest plans for future defenses of the settlement. In service to her Majesty, Captain Jno. Cooke, RN Colonial Governor, Southern Isles @LM71Blackbird
  6. Interesting story development and nice build to go along with it. That Harbour master seems to be taking liberties with his responsibilities, though! Damned bureaucrats! ;) The mail pennant sounds reasonable to me. :P 1) You can license the build as per normal property rules (probably a commerce, medium). That is unrelated to your adventure. What matters is that you license the sloop as that will be the resource you use for the adventure. 2) Story-wise, I think we can work with this. But for the paperwork to be in order, you have to fill in a AMRCA form, which is linked in the mrca topic each month :) 3) Yes. Not in a computation like for the tMRCA, but a warship will face different odds and opportunities than a merchant vessel, depending on the challenges you will face. 4. Yes. Just make sure she is in the right location when she needs to join. (And make the story fit ;)) As you have not licensed her yet, you can probably just start her off when and where fitting. Clear? :)
  7. Yes, talk to your faction. Ask for investors, and ask merchants to help pay for her services as an escort vessel or hope to make money in prizes. :) Alternatively, you can use her for stories without licensing her. Only when you want to use her in the mrca do you need her licensed.
  8. Bart, typically the mainmast of a three master should be about the same height as the length of the vessel, so I think your masts are fine. Might be on the tall side, but maybe she is a swift sailer? If you add royal masts, she might be too tall, though ;) I do think the yards could be a bit closer to the tops, though.
  9. The people of the Brick Seas come together for celebrations in King's Harbour.
  10. And so the ball has commenced!
  11. NB: Many pictures and long post Invitations had been sent out liberally, but Cooke had far from anticipated the amount of interest a ball, the first of its kind in Terra Nova, would garner. People from Eslandola, Oleon, and Corrington, as well as a number of Sea Rats, had flocked to King's Harbour the last few weeks to participate in the festivities and now the night had finally come. Everyone was gathered in the great hall of the new government palace (in the only wing anything close to finished) and the clock struck the hour, marking the beginning of the event. Cooke called the crowds to attention from the library balcony with a young smiling man at his side. "Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen, to the first great ball of Terra Nova. It pleases me to see so many faces, new and familiar, and trust we shall have a... well... ball!" The crowd laughed merrily. Cooke wasn't exactly known for his humour and wit, but he had his moments. "Allow me to present to you all sir Michael Farley, the new Colonial Administrator for the Southern Isles. He will henceforth take over civilian administration of King's Harbour and acts as my second in all civilian matters. I trust you will welcome him - tonight is as much his party as it is mine." Cooke stepped back, and Farley held a short, somewhat nervous, but good-hearted speech, before retreating with a sweaty brow and a sigh of relief, calling out: "Let the festivities commence!" The orchestra started playing and the crowd dispersed, many the quadrilles of the lanciers. The dancing took up most of the floor, although some found room for conversation and a glass of sparkling wine. Rear-admiral Fletcher and Constable de Tourment found common ground, figuring they might have fought against each other on more than one occasion, sharing war memories and some recent events. @blackdeathgr Nearby, Mordo of the WTC, Richard Brickford, and Uncle was discussing trade companies, mr. Brickford listening attentively to his more experienced fellows... @Kai NRG, @Drunknok, @LM71Blackbird ...while Micah of Wolfhaven is discussing Montoya's disappearance with Ibn al'Sayeed, as well as strategies for the ETTC. @SilentWolf Sir Aidan Coyle and Cooke himself, both colonial governors to Her Majesty, took the chance to catch up on the military and political situation of the pirate-ridden Brick Seas. @Mike S On the balcony, Willem Guilder, Admius Legistrad to Eslandola, discussed cooperation and trade with the mayor of Mooreton Bay, James Hume. @Capt Wolf, @Ayrlego For those with a taste for more quiet surroundings, the upstairs library and downstairs smoking room were popular. Captain Anthony Genaro was seen talking to Lieutenant Thierry LaGaufre of the Royal Musketeers, perhaps lobbying for access to his Majesty's ear for a command? Rumour had it Genaro had long been on half pay. Downstairs, Hadvice Goshawk and Sir Mowgli were deep in conversation, as Sir Mowgli told an engaging, touching, and almost unbelieveable story of his missing cat, a large black panther last seen on a raft in the middle of the ocean. @Professor Thaum, @Roadmonkeytj Amongst the books, Wilbur Epper II, Royal Conductor of Corrington, was discussing new and innovative means of transportation with Alberto de Pontelli of the Royal Society. Epper maintained the effectiveness and punctuality of the wagonways, while Alberto told of his recent invention of flight and its principles. @Drunknok, @Captain Braunsfeld It was a lovely afternoon, and many retired to the gardens for fresh air or a refreshment in the guest house placed there. The bar was serving the finest wines and rum, and fresh fruits ensured the well-being of the guests. Outside, in the gardens, many found peace for conversation. Sergeant Major DeLeau and Captain Cookie debated swordsman's techniques... @gedren_y, @Captain Braunsfeld ...while Frederick Spud and Colonel Brickinson had an enthusiastic discussion about the merits of apples versus potatoes. @Spud The Viking, @Captain Braunsfeld Young Lieutenant Lavendwood was taken quite aback as a heavy hand landed upon his shoulder, and no less so as he realised it was the hand of a rear-admiral, as near as a god as any man can be to a young naval officer. "Relax, young man." the god-like creature said in a deep, booming voice "I merely wish to express my satisfaction with your recent dispatches. Cooke has praised you no insignificant amount, and should you keep up your initiative, I have no doubt you will one day raise your flag. Corrington needs men like you and your colleagues." @Flavius Gratian Many passed by the gardens that evening, discussing matters of personal interest, including Jerome Monezterrel and Captain Tristan Rimbaud... @Legostone, @Keymonus ...Rodsh Derr and Major Romain.... @blackdeathgr, @Bart ...Brickinson and Thierry LaGaufre... @Captain Braunsfeld, @blackdeathgr ...and Elise and Kathy, who discussed the fine Olean wine and rum delivered by Elise herself. @KotZ, @Bart The new colonial administrator also took his chance to meet some of the important people of the Brick Seas, amongst these Lord Frederick Spud, head of clan Spud from the north-most corners of Corrington. @Spud The Viking "I am sorry my invitation should have taken you such by surprise, Captain Genaro." Cooke interjected upon hearing the story. "I had thought my name would have been familiar to you?" "You will forgive me, will you not? I fear I..." "Most certainly" Cooke said with a rare smile. "You helped me once in a time of need. A matter of secrecy - I sent you a few letters...? Genaro's face lit up in recollection, before looking over his should carefully. "Indeed - I remember now. Some matter of political delicacy... Are your situation still... troubled?" "Less so, less so, although you never know when politics are involved! You did me a great service, and I hope I shall one day be allowed to repay you. If not in kind, then in friendship." Genaro patted Cooke's shoulder jovially. "I have no doubt, my friend, I have no doubt." and they walked down the path, sharing stories of the sea in good humour. @Captain Genaro Back in the ballroom, people mingled happily, making new acquaintances or revelling in old. Captains Tristan Rimbaud, Miles Bowditch, and Rodsh Derr found a common interest in the myths of the Brick Seas.... While young Keenan Reid was in exquisite female company with Lady Villeneuve, and mademoiselle de Tourment. @TheCubbScout, @Capt Wolf, @blackdeathgr Nearby, Aidan Coyle and Jerome Monezterrell shared their concerns with the piratical activity stifling trade and communications, not to mention the safety of sailors in general. @Mike S, @Legostone Captain Whiffo was in high spirits, conversing with Lady Norrington. @Capt Wolf, @Garmadon Ibn al'Sayeed inquired industrial magnate Sir Dee, and Mordo of the WTC, for insights into the foundry business, in which both were heavily involved... ...while Captain Nathaniel Brickford was sharing romantic and military exploits with his naval colleagues, Lieutenants Lavendwood and Ferguson. @LM71Blackbird, @Flavius Gratian, @Asgon Agnes Mesabi and Uncle were in complete agreement that "back in the good old times", balls were larger, the spirits stronger, and the young people less noisy. @Mesabi, @Kai NRG "No news whatsoever, I fear." Cooke said with a furrowed brow. The Fontonajos looked concerned, Roman being an old friend of Montoya. "I certainly hope he will reappear. He always has." "Indeed." Cooke changed the subject. "While I wish not to reflect badly upon Guilder, for whom I have the utmost respect, there are many in Corrington, present company included, who were sad to see you retire as Admius Legistrad..." Pausing for a moment, he continued. "You are regarded a friend of Corrington, and you shall ever be welcome in my halls. Montoya have said only positive things of you and what you have achieved in terms of governance and city planning..." @Elostirion And so the party went on into the night, people discussing subjects large and small, in general enjoyment. Hopefully new friendships were made, and perhaps a trade deal or two struck? Only time will reveal what came of the great ball of King's Harbour! ___________________________________________________________________ This was a lot of fun building, writing and photographing, and I hope I have managed to include (almost) all, and that no characters have been grossly misrepresented. It was great fun collecting all these sig figs, and I hope to have a chance to use them all again some day. C&C welcome!
  12. The current task is to decide where to search. If you make a build adding more resources, you can send the a) together with Mesabi's crew, or b) to a different location. Clear? :)
  13. Only one form is filled for each adventure, so Mesabi simply adds your resources to his form. Once your resources has been added (with a build), you will have to build each turn. If you have twice the resources, you can search twice as much in the same time, so why not?
  14. Will new resources(vessels/troops) be added to the mrca, or just the existing ones? If not, you can do however you like. If yes, he has to do a build each turn.
  15. The court has decided on the following: If there is some form of agreement (formal or informal), existing ships can be used/managed according to the agreement. For escorts, trade, warfare, etc. as agreed. This agreement does not need to be published. These agreements can be faction wide, player based, etc. but if anyone misuses a player's ship against his wishes, leadership will step in. Anyone should always be free to opt out of such an agreement. Only existing vessels can be used. No new ships can be licensed in passive player's names, and ships cannot be sistershipped once lost. Over time, fleets of inactive players being used will thus dwindle. Exception are ships build by the absent player for a faction, settlement, or trade company, as use rights already belong to the given entity. Once the player returns, ships can be sistershipped and new licenses can be made as per normal rules. You are not allowed to change ownership, as that would eventually be stealing the vessels. Neither can they be sistershipped by any other entity once lost This policy will mean that only existing vessels can remain active, that players or factions cannot "optimise" upkeep or game the system by using inactive accounts, and that we get no additional paperwork or administration. Please note that it should also ensure balance. A faction will not be unduly punished because someone suddenly becomes inactive, but also that we will not see "ghost ships" sailing the seas. (Only known and active vessels still sailing) I will add these to the ship licensing rules shortly.
  16. Leadership is discussing the case and will issue a policy, so that everyone knows what is allowed and what is not, making it clear and fair for all. Please note that we will try to balance the arguments here, and that thus we cannot satisfy all preferences. However, there will be common rules for all, which should prevent any gaming of the system.
  17. @Captain Genaro, @Bodi, @KotZ, @Dukesc Kings Port Miro Oldis and the council had accepted the letter and requested a few days to consider the outcome. These days had turned to weeks and Hollande had been growing impatient. However, after the first 10 days, a number of small vessels had approached the fleet bringing fresh fruits and foodstuff, as well as Terraversan wine and beer, to the fleet, compliments of Miro Oldis and the council. Hollande had frowned to himself at the thought of more of that dreadful liquid, but the sailors were happy at the change of menu. And to Hollande's surprise, a small crate was brought in with a personal note from Oldis. "I could not but help to notice your distaste for Terraversan wine. It is an acquired taste, and our vintners are still inexperienced, unfortunately. However, I have arranged for a little something special for you". Upon opening the crate, he found 6 bottles of fine Olean wine, aged well. It was obvious that Oldis was a man of great parts, and that the Terraversans wishes to make a positive impression upon the RNTC delegation. One morning, with fresh supplies, came a sealed letter addressed to Hollande (will be PM'ed to Captain Genaro). It included full trading rights for the expedition for the duration of its stay, as well as some stipulations to be negotiated by mail over the coming weeks and months. Hollande was delighted, although it also posed some issues. If he handled this correctly, perhaps he would earn a peerage, he mused to himself, before remembering that to the best of his knowledge, he had lost half his ships. If only he had word of them... But how would he proceed? Our task here is done, and we have achieved what we set out to do. Now stock up with Terraversan goods and set sail for the next port! (Show the expedition trading for wares - this will end this part of the expedition and free the ships and troops for the regular MRCA, starting in King's Port) NB: Some parts of the expedition may select this option, while others stay. The faith still has demands on our time and there is still the matter of "the Huntress", as well as our contacts with Mardierian Loyalists. Stay, on the pretext of trading and continuing negotiations, and establish contacts to the relevant agents and organisations. Where will our search for the mysterious "huntress" or the elusive loyalists take us? Are they one and the same, or entirely unrelated? Do you seek both, or only one, and for what purpose? Do you seek intelligence on Terraversan military capacities, information on the loyalist movement, some artifact, or something entirely unrelated? The RNTC must have a base of operations in Terraversa. Or troops and sailors can build and set up a trading post for the RNTC. (Build a medium property or larger to represent RNTC activities in Terraversa. Up to 100 dbs in licensing costs will be free of charge.) (Negotiations can proceed outside the AMRCA between "Hollande" and leadership's NPC committee and does not require continuation of the AMRCA.) Westface The commotion after the shot had been harsh, and Oleanders and Terraversans alike still suffered from bruises, strains and a few broken bones. But at least it had been short - The Terraversan Hussars had quickly ridden into the frey, calling orders for all to "Stand down or be cut down!", Terraversans and Oleanders both. From the oaths and curses called by the hussar lieutenant, it was clear that the unit fighting the Oleanders were one of the multiple militias still standing from the war of independence. And the cries of "damned irregulars" and "uncontrollable peasant rabble" from the hussars made it clear that the regular troops had little respect for these self-instituted forces, who in turn made rude gestures to the regulars. Clearly, there was some enmity and discord within the Terraversan ranks, as officials and regular troops tried to wrest control from the many groups of irregular units formed during the war. From a very loudly, and publicly given reprimand, the Olean expedition gathered that the militia had been tasked simply with holding a side road from the harbour, not approach them, but that their commander had taken it upon himself to do so. Had he not done so, the trap might have been perfectly executed. It was no less successful, though, as the full Olean crew were now detained in a large, remote manor under a full guard, and the expedition had to consider its next move. Thus, L'Olius' Terraversan forces had, despite the unruly militias, achieved complete control and disarmament of the Olean forces with an impressive joint naval and army operation. All they had heard from the Terraversans since then was that Oliver was being cared for in the naval hospital, and that his condition was stable, but critical. It also seemed from their guards that official Terraversa placed most of the blame for the incident at the docks on the militia, rather than the Oleanders. Apparently, L'Olius was strict but fair... Hollande must have reached Kings Port by now - we must find a way to get a message across to him! He will make an official complaint and have us released. Show how the expedition gets a message across to Kings Port and what the message contains. (Official Terraversan channels? Royalist rebels? Smugglers? Sneaking out a messenger and stealing a horse?) Surely, Hollande needs not be disturbed. We can handle this ourselves! Request an audience with the local government to explain your position, apologize for the commotion, and require leave to sail the squadron to Kings Port, or perhaps home? Show the expedition negotiating, demanding, or requesting an audience, and let us know what they hope to achieve. Our situation is untenable and our imprisonment can only lead to further diplomatic issues. Let us escape our captivity, discreetly recapture the ships and take our departure. Show the attempts of escaping, and tell us where the expedition will seek to flee to. ("The great escape" like schemes are encouraged! ;) ) At least one build is required to progress any one part of the expedition, but to progress both, a minimum of three builds is required. (And more encouraged) Let us know if the above leads any questions or comments. Genaro will receive a letter from Terraversa as soon as it is cleared with the NPC committee.
  18. @Maxim I The trip to the Alleenridder Crypts at Deliah had looked like a certain success. As the expedition was leaving the crypt, Lord Damaximus was excited. He had tucked the old maps and documents into his chest and was dragging a chest of gold out of the crypt with one of the soldiers, while the others were carrying their own loads. Loading their pack animals and heading back to Madin, the band was in high spirits - what a success! However, they must have been followed, as just before reaching the border to Tellvok, the expedition was set upon by a large band of Mokolei grave robbers. Not wishing to risk a diplomatic crisis, and to the good luck of the expedition, the grave robbers only stole the gold and artifacts retrieved from the crypt and left the expedition to continue. The appearance of a Tellvokian border patrol meant Damaximus made it out of there with his maps intact. (0 dbs added to adventure treasury) News were better in Madin, where the Sultan offered Damaximus a reward for the services of his troops. (150 dbs added to adventure treasury) Further, he offered his finest scholars to help Damaximus decipher the maps and documents found in the crypt. While the maps were outdated, and the scriptures ancient, a reference to "Tarashala" by the straits of the Helspont Sea was recurring. It was not clear if this was the origin of the Alleenridders, but it was certainly the home of important events in their history. But Tarashala was a long ways away. What route should the expedition take? Head for Tanstontilo - The corsairs make the overland route the safest. Show the expedition arriving in Tanstontilo and making preparations for the long overland trip. The local Mokolei Porte seems to have taken a... disliking to us. Head for Kembali at the mouth Mokolei Bay where you must ship to local crafts to take you to the bottom of the shallow and reef-ridden bay. Show the local flat-bottomed vessels transporting the expedition over the bay. I shall touch not another camel! Tarashala is a coastal city and we have the finest Eslandian vessels at our disposal. Set course around the Forbidden Kingdoms. Show the expedition resupplying in Drolic on Tendorn. Two builds are required to continue (one for Trador and one for Maxim) but more are encouraged. Please let us know if this leads to any questions.
  19. Roadmonkey: Let's not make this a discussion about how to police it. First we need to figure out what the rules should be, and that should not be governed by what is easier to police, but instead by what is right. I am of the firm belief that people will follow the rules. Take away from your post is that you think players must have been logged in within a month, right? Gedren: Am I right in understanding correctly that you suggest only trading missions should be allowed? (No offensive manoeuvres or escort duty?)
  20. Nothing is being laughed away. I am sorry if that is the impression. In fact, what I am trying to say here is that discussing what such guidelines should be is the proper way to go. No guidelines have been set, because there have been no consensus (just as there was no consensus in the past). One person suggesting something does not legitimise it as general BoBS policy. A proper discussion is necessary, as this is a sensitive issue. I am in no position to set these guidelines on my own, and have no wish to do so. Further, I am ever so slightly insulted if the absence of such guidelines should be construed as my personal short-coming. You cannot expect leadership to pick up on everything discussed in the forums, and you cannot pin it on any one member. In this thread, some valid points for both sides have been presented, and I personally hope that this time, a set of guidelines can be agreed upon to be reviewed and confirmed by leadership. And please keep it general and refrain from any more individual names. If anything, we need general rules and examples, not a witchhunt. What should be the rules for use of vessels? Who can assign orders to vessels? Do we set a minimal requirement for activity? How about trade company and faction vessels? Are they affected? Is it enough to sign in or do you need to actively ask someone to fill in your forms every month it is relevant? Or do you have to sign up yourself? How restrictive does it have to be? What is the real "issue" we are trying to solve? AoB? Personally, I do not like the idea of factions actively orchestrating the running of ships of inactive players (and have said as much in Corrington's trade pm), but I see no reason in someone with limited time asking a faction buddy to run his ships for a few months. In between those two cases are a lot of grey zones, and I do not think we should be too restrictive. Further, more moc'ed ships at sea means more options for exciting MRCA's. There is also the question of balance between the factions. While an inactive Eslandian may have little impact on faction performance due to the size of the faction, a single inactive player in a smaller faction may prove decisive. I do not know the exact answers. What I do know is that we should identify a common set of ethical guidelines so to speak, so that people knows what is the correct behaviour. Please refrain from these sort of threats. It in no way encourages constructive debate.
  21. Do you understand that there are currently no guidelines in this regard? Hence, there is nothing to explain. And as Bart says, don't make this personal against anyone. Make it a discussion as to what the guidelines should be. Seems to happen more often than not with you. Perhaps you should strive to change this? I maintain that I do not think that people will go against a set of guidelines for this set down by BoBs leadership as a result of this discussion. Since there are currently no guidelines, no one can have trespassed against them. Hence, it is guidelines we need, not policing. If players in BoBs knowingly goes against the spirit and/or rules of the game, it is leadership's duty to step in. And if a warning is not enough, I suppose exclusion will be the ultimate consequence. I expect people to play by the spirit and letter of the rules of BoBs, and not doing so should disqualify participation.
  22. We most definitely do not need more paperwork. And we do not need policing - if we can agree on a set of guidelines, we can also expect people to follow them. It is the guidelines that should be questioned and debated, not how to police them, as that really will not be a problem. I do not believe anyone will knowingly go against the rules and guidelines.
  23. Or maybe he asked someone to handle his vessels in his absence?
  24. So do I! Happy they are recognisable! - I have had to take some limited liberties with some minifigs, but I will try to make the story identify each of the participants. I am a bit short on peg legs and the very large hats, but I have their faces and torsoes. Would Lagaufre (and Romain) be inclined to wear a wig indoors? (or suitable brown hair pieces?) And Lady Lagaufre may not turn out entirely accurate, but I will try to include her as best I can. No kids allowed at the ball, though. :)
  25. Thanks guys - the last Bricklink orders have arrived, so now I need to figure out what everyone is to talk about, and to whom, finish the last tweaks of the builds, and take the photos... :) Mordo and the Fontonajos. I originally meant to "yellowfy" them all, but couldn't represent them properly. Some of them might change into more... formal (well, different...) clothes, but I will try to include them as best I can! :) Brickinson will seek other military men, Alberto scientists, and captain cookie... pirates? :P
