  1. Keep 'em coming! :)
  2. This is just amazing. I am following this project closely and will be looking forward to see where it goes. Brick on!
  3. For a long time, I've had half a fire engine sitting on the shelf. Finally, after finding (and buying.... ) the Lego Fire Station 60004 on sale, I got around to finishing it. (Pardon the quality of the pics) Its taken quite a few iterations to reach the end result, and I quite like it. Its a typical main fire engine - the backstay of any modern fire department. It carries pumps, ladders and breathing apparatuses, as well as its own water tank, used for first efforts until a fire hydrant or similar water supply can be hooked up. Front left view: Rear-right view: Cab: The cab easily seats three, and has rear sliding-doors for easier access. (Or alternatively, just a gimmick from the builders side... ). Fire-chiefs sedan and hose tender trailer: Originally, I wanted to include the hoses on the fire engine itself, but I found it took too much room. Therefore, I decided to design a small hose tender trailer. As the fire engine is already by far the largest truck in the city, adding a trailer seemed a bit over the top. Therefore, I quickly put together a small fire-chief's sedan to pull the trailer. And, for all its simplicity, I quite like it. The tender trailer has a diesel pump, to allow it to pump water from for instance a pond, over longer distances to the scene of the fire. Front-left view: Rear-right view: Comparison with the 60004 turntable ladder truck And a small "action-shot": Thank you all for watching. C&C are welcome, of course. On a side note, I am planning to convert the 60004 building to some sort of modular standard. /Bregir out
  4. You always deliver great moc's, LT. And the interiors and all the little details are really what stands out for me! Brick on /Bregir
  5. Hi there! What a great project you have going on there. It will be interesting to follow its process. I will be looking forward to seeing more details on your individual buildings, especially that gate for the firetruck! It's got me very intrigued. It'll also be interesting to see your firetruck - I have just built one myself (which will hopefully be uploaded soon ... ), which has inspired me to moc up a firestation too. Brick on, and keep us posted! :D
  6. Great builds! I have always found it hard to build anything sporty and organic from the not so sporty, and not so organic bricks... But now I might give it another go!
  7. I'll be looking forward to following this! :)
  8. This is simply brilliant! :)
  9. Personally, I am highly impressed! There are so many interesting uses of bricks that I don't know where to start! Will this ever be seen in real bricks? :)
  10. Makes me want to pick up "Pillars of the Earth" again. (And build as a read along... ) I am so looking forward to following this project - But my, it is going to be humongous! /Bregir out
  11. Hi there! What a great first post :) I really like how you have created something small, that would still fit well in a modular street. I think I will have a shot or two on creating something of the same dimensions! Brick on!
  12. Well built! The first place must have been really good to beat this one! :)

    Farm Tractor.

I am pretty sure its a baling machine... :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baler
  14. Cool! I really like this build - although it will look huge next to some of the smaller cars ;) You've captured a lot of details, and there is some very clever parts use! Brick on Bregir

    Farm Tractor.

Great work! I might steal some inspiration here... ;) /Bregir out
  16. This is customer service! Lego never ceases to amaze me! :) Thanks for joining in, Jamie! And thanks for all the great sets to you (and your colleagues!) /Bregir out

    New City Layout

Huge! So many sets - there is a treasure trove of bricks there! :D Great layout - I like how you have packed railways, roads, buildings etc. into one big whole. Brick on!
  18. Actually, I would suggest making the tower wider and taller. (Allthough I can see the problems in regards to space... :) ) I think it would look even better, if you expanded it by two bricks to have the same size as that protruding middle part of the structure it self :) Anyways, great build!
  19. I must echo the words of those who already posted. It looks absolutely fabulous, and I can't wait to build it! One wonders, however, why they will not release it in time for the Christmas present shopping frenzy... /Bregir out

    Airports?

It's not entirely airportless in here... http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=85264#entry1658637 I am myself thinking of adding a small airstrip with tower and small terminal. Looking forward to hearing more about your projects! Bregir out

    MOC: Kiosk

Nice little addition amongst the multitude of modulars!
  22. Thank you - Glad you like it. I will take a look at raising the windows a bit. To be honest, I am not perfectly happy about the first floor. And yes, that is indeed cellbars - and the idea is to do exactly that - build a holding cell. Further, I am planning a small police desk and an office for the judge, while the courtroom will be on the ground floor. I have many projects underway, so I don't know when I will return to the courthouse - but I'll keep you all posted :) Thank you, Tiger! I am happy to hear you feel the same about the "set back" :) That was exactly my thoughts too. Thanks for the comment! I can't see this entrance for a restaurant, personally, but anyways, I am happy you like it! I hadn't thought about the doorhandles - that might be included in version 1.1. (But for the record - the doors open both ways, so you can just push.... :P ) I changed the light grey to dark grey to make it fall in a bit more. Thanks for the comments, all! /Bregir out
  23. Hi all Now finally a *finished* ™ build from my side. I tend to put down a few bricks on a plate to "sketch" out an idea, and then put it away... After getting the judge-minifigure, I thought my town needed a courthouse. (Plus, I wanted to try my hand with some pillars.) So here it is. Front view: I think the first floor exterior turned out pretty well. Rear view The back side has the 1x6 technic piece to allow the courthouse to form half of a corner building. (With a 16x32 corner building on any of the two sides.) The entrance. Of course, the doors work! :) And quite well, I think! And lastly, a shot with the pet shop for scale. The interiors are still work in progress. All comments are welcome. (Allthough, of course I hope you like it! ;) ) Bregir out
  24. Great build! I too love the trashcan :) I like the modular standards, but I don't like them to be a constraint on building, so for me, stretching them is perfectly fine! :)
  25. Will it ever end? :O :P
