  1. @Bartybum, could be; ironically I have used 42009 undercarriage as reference for stability, but totally forgot on solution that you mentioned.
  2. Usually real cranes are able to make 360 degrees turn, so to achieve that It should have it in undercarriage but as a counterweight it could also be used on superstructure. My concern is that in comparison to crane length, chassis is relatively small and this could be a stability problem at some point
  3. I like forklift, could be entry level Technic set
  4. i think that motor and BB would be i undercarriage simply because of stability and weight distribution. Don't forget that crane is also relatively heavy ...and to put BB in superstructure could result in turning limitations, so at least IMHO both motor and BB should be on same segment
  5. It is very nice, detailed, smooth and functional as it should be (and I like mocs in 1:17,5 - 1:18 scale )
  6. First of all welcome to Eurobricks forum. As a bit older member I suggest you to send a personal message to @Hogwartus because publishing your email in this way you are risking to become some unwanted present in a form of malicius software (like virus etc) in your mailbox
  7. That is a good start, but we know a little about vehicle that influenced you At least I can say that tire choice is perfect
  8. you should embed this images into your post. BTW: Cute little MOC
  9. I'm very skeptical for this price range
  10. Last week I have build this model despite the fact that my initial idea is to buy it as a parts pack and it looks really good, stickers and color combo are great. whole design is appealing so a bit lack of extra functions are not such disappointment; for some 100 € set it is a bit unrealistic to expect transmission like on Porsche Besides that what do you have to add to a rally car which has steering, engine, drive, suspension, open-able hoods and doors; crane, winch? ...almost forgot main thing, @Milan your review has covered all important aspects for this model IMHO
  11. I hope that this is the right topic for following question: did anyone saw other versions of Mack Anthem than semitrailer truck, or Granite and LR are made to be workhorses?
  12. Yes, and sometimes red parts have significant variation of shades
  13. Nice This tilting bed somehow reminds me on my solution on 1:18 Unimog U423 long wheelbase...
  14. ...and I have to finish this Unimog because today this topic celebrates it's first birthday
  15. I have 3 of them but mainly for parts and future projects. Sorry for off-topic
  16. Deal Now I have to wait for parts for cockpit in dark bluish gray BTW when I see your 42054 C models, then I wish you had 5 more of them
  17. here are two versions; one with sun shield and one without. I have managed to make a bit angled front part of the roof, and two blur pins indicate where licence plate will be (actually one white tile 1 x 4) question is: which one do you prefer?
  18. It is starting to take shape, but I have one question - aren't thin liftarms to fragile for rear suspension?
  19. Hope to find some time to do it (this week)
  20. This is preliminary version of sunshield but I think I'll have to change curved panel 11 x 3 in ordinary 11 x 3 and make it higher for about half a stud at the front
  21. Looks really good with nice and realistic details. You have infected me with this "love to details" phylosophy and mow I'm rebuilding my latest mocs cab.
