  1. When I saw this set on shelves it looked as some small scale jeep but nothimh special. From time to time I was reading mostly good stuff about this set and now you made great review and now this set is really tempting me; it is very nice small set Great review Milan
  2. ...I'm curious to see the final result. I have a feeling that it would be really good imrovement on this small MOC
  3. Thanks Paul, I hope to upload cab images today, but I'll see how much time there will be
  4. I was afraid of this Perhaps you can solve differential issue with adding some pair of gear at each side and move differential forward in comparison to drive wheels?
  5. Nice little track loader, The only thing what crossed my mind is to move upper wheel more towards rear to have distribution like Cat 9N dozer...
  6. Sounds plausible, and Chiron is ultimate set, so LEGO does not need ultimate disappointment
  7. Thanks, you give me importing arguments to stay on 1:17.5 - 1:18 scale and that's something (Even the smallest things can start greatest changes) On today's update you can see smoother front bull-bar design. CAb images will be uploaded asap (and cab is much smoother now) Due to lack of parts I had to wait for months to start developing smoother design for front part
  8. I agree, it is really nice truck ...and fits Anthem scale I have realized that on first sight - it has the same black wheel / red bush solution like 42075 set at the rear
  9. Thanks Kyle, After calculatios I found out that there has to be liftarm 10l, so I have made combo of 3l and 7l...now I need small brake and relax a bit. Main cab structure is done, but I need to make it more detailed and add doors and hood. Front part of hood you can see at first image - "blueprint" with correct wheel position (Unimog blueprints show model with compressed suspension). 437 is intetesting project. My future Unimog will be U4023 or U5023 if I manage front axle that has 18 studs overall width (inclooding tires). Tires that I plan to use are 68.8 x 36 H with wheel futuristic amd black dish 6 x 6 inside...
  10. Thanks. If only I could have 9l beams in orange...
  11. Looks good Tumbler tire with it's width resembles flotation tire very well
  12. Before I post some images and short description for this update I have to thank for help and support that I got from @Leonardo da Bricki, @efferman, @jorgeopesi and @Pat-Ard After several month of playing around front axle finally I have managed to make narrow enough front axle to fit 1:18 scale. As you can see on images that will follow now axles are 17 stud wide. Another thing that is that this compact version is the best compromise for functionality and stiffness. Another aspect that used about 3 months is front bull-bar: old one was simply to big for this scale, so new one uses pneumatic hoses and black pneumatic t connectors and black bars which _I did not have, so I have to buy them... Cab is under development
  13. Yes but not that model...but it is another story, but Summer can be interesting; I'm really excited about Volvo
  14. For this trac (for front tires) ...and all combine harvesters have rear tires some 11.5% smalle tires in comparisson to front... If you look at forestry machines (except Ponse) that have 3 axles, thay have the same situation 1387 mm tires to some 1600-1650mm... Another thing - there is 95mm baloon tire and "Unimog" tire with aproximate dianeter to fit 56 wheel... I hope that this answer explains my point... (sorry for offtopic)
  15. It looks a half a stud to high or I'm imagining things
  16. ZEUX was the initial name several months ago... If I'm not mistaken it is a bit cheaper than 42080 set so IMHO it is more interesting...(and if only LEGO would change their mind and put 95mm tractor tires in set...). I have a feeling that some interesting features / techniques are awaiting us in 42081 set
  17. For small scale MOCs is 42078-like engine probably best compromise
  18. I understand. If I remember correctly few years ago there was log loader set truck that looked like Peterbilt with 4 cylinder engine; I think it was 9397 set...
  19. Nice little tractor. I like functions but hog steering would be practical
  20. Hm if you make inline engine, it will go between seats as well, but is there T600 with longer nose or just one version (I know it is not cab over version)?
  21. It looks reasobable in term of design...so it is South Korean LEGO site and not North Korean
  22. It!s a beast, but very nice detailed beast. It could perfectly fit LEGO Unimog in scale
  23. we will survive day or two to see your update, don't worry. I haven't post my model updates for almost half a year...
