Welcome totohs! I was checking out your MOCs - that Dusty Crophopper is excellent! Are you going to enter the Pimp My Camper competiton?

Just finished my draft. My first one ever and as an English ex-pat in the US I got a bit drunk tired and emotional and nearly selected Tebow. Lord knows who I've got in my team.....

Good review. And I'm now tempted to buy the set. Were there any unusual parts or interesting build techniques?

Hot Rod Camper I lowered the front, bolted on the cow-horns, added a big block engine, added fatties, jacked up the rear. Are we racing for Pinks? We don't need no stinkin' brake lights.. Don't have a cow man! 0 to 60 in the blink of an eye.... -
How about the Olympic Swimmer from the 2012 London games

I like it! The additions you've made are a definite improvement and if I was to have one observation it's that the sides and particularly the stern are still slab-sided. Rriggs' boat benefitted from using a pre-existing hull, and you've made some very effective nautical-type brick curves at the bow so I think maybe you just need to tweak the stern a bit. Do you have plans to build it in bricks?

Excellent news! /Taps fingers on keyboard and wonders what to build/ -
The Young Ones? Bottom? Spaced? Father Ted? You're in fine company. Welcome to the forums...

Nicely done! I like the hood over the cooker and the use of the 1 x 2 grille bricks at the foot of the cupboards. So, we can all come round your place at 6pm for pizza then?

Good job! I have complete respect for your dedication. -
Kermit with your '1+1+1=2' tag I wouldn't rely on your counting skills anyway....

Congratulations! It does look good and the neck and face are particularly impressive. How robust is it? I mean does it have swooshability?

A forty year old track - still sounds epic! Hawkwind: Orgone Accumulator

It's what sometimes happens when a two-year old thread gets bumped and the OPs pictures have gone from their server. Here's a link to what they're going on about... http://s562.photobucket.com/user/burrito-breath/media/oxford/om3303/om3303-01.jpg.html

Welcome back - it's always a problem when real life gets in the way of bricking...

I wasn't familiar with the book/story/original source, and so I had to google it. Your MOC looks really good - and certainly beefy enough to dig a cellar in a day!
-
It, unfortunately, reminds me too much of my years commuting into London. ( x 1,000,000) But it does look good - the colour scheme is spot on and I like the SNOT front, although I think Ashi Valkoinen may have a good point about the doors Thanks for sharing it with us!

This is excellent - you've definitely captured the essence of the original.

Tip of the hat to you! It looks very true to the original.
