  1. I remember the original LDD thread and this looks excellent in real bricks. Those license plates and the printed stickers are the perfect finishing touches. Great job zeki!
  2. The pictures are now available - good looking MOC. What have you wrapped around the Levers?
  3. Really nicely done Gazumpty! Lovely series of builds and I like the narrative you provided.
  4. Huzzah! New Mannum is back! I'm looking forward to see what you're going to entertain us with this year LT.
  5. Welcome to eurobricks Luiz! I think you'll discover we have a great forum describing customizing minifigs.
  6. Excellent build! I love the facade and those are a great use of the droid bodies. The kitchen interior is really well executed. I tip my hat to you...
  7. Welcome to the forums BMP!
  8. Welcome to the forums!
  9. That's a bright and sunny looking MOC - perfect to banish these winter time blues! As others have noted the colors really pop, good use of those brick 1 x 2s and the bank of the river. Outstanding! and I love it!
  10. Welcome Most-russ! Technic is very addictive.
  11. Welcome to the forums!
  12. Welcome the eurobricks! Excellent video, great smoke effects and good use of the Stig!
  13. Nice job! It looks so inviting and relaxing and those trees are well done, but I think my favorite bits are the cabins.
  14. oirad 72 and eurotrash have formed a joint (ex-pat Anglo) American-Italian team. Be afraid, be very afraid....
  15. Excellent! I'm eagerly anticipating the video...
  16. I must be hanging around the wrong kind of minifigs then... As for the Interior/Exterior debate. I want to see interesting facades and interesting interiors. I take Rob's point about the percentage of interior pieces - I don't think they're overdoing the interior at the expense of the exterior and I certainly don't expect to be paying modular prices for an empty shell. More interiors please!
  17. Thanks! And here's a link to that other building http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=84426
  18. There are definitely at least a few. Check this thread to see if they've added themselves to the map.... http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=81006
  19. I had to occupy my time while I was waiting for the Parisian Restaurant to arrive and so I opened up one of the cupboards and modified the Lego Creator 5770 Lighthouse. I wanted it to fit in with my sprawling, economically depressed city so I beefed up the size of building, changed the roof and slapped it on a rocky prominence (Skull Island was sacrificed http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3712/11637864364_c17b2b1617_c.jpg) I wasn't too worried about the look of the lower levels as they'd be covered by the adjacent buildings so I used whatever spare pieces I had to hand - in this case it was castle wall parts. And there's a higgledy-piggledy wooden ladder and platform creation that runs up the rear of the rock to provide access to the Lighthouse. And although it's falling into disrepair the Lighthouse keeper doesn't appear to mind as he keeps a weather-eye on the horizon and enjoys his rum-enhanced coffee: Thanks for reading! Comments and criticisms welcome...
  20. Welcome to the forums!
  21. Another good review Rufus and you're right about the wheels - they're 'generously proportioned'. Oh, and speaking as a former windsurfing/sailing instructor - I wore either a wet suit or a dry suit and a life jacket at all times.
  22. Welcome to Eurobricks Josu!
  23. I, too, ordered it at just passed midnight on the 1st (Yah! We know how to celebrate New Year around here...). I stuck with Standard Delivery and the confirmation email arrived about 20 minutes later, but the order has been stuck in Customer Service limbo until late this afternoon. It's now in 'In Process' so I've still got a couple of days to go. If you've got the Y### number check to see what status you're at.
  24. Welcome to the forums Pulsa! Have fun.
