  1. Lovely looking representation of the TEE. The nose is well done. Iggy Pop and David Bowie would be impressed.
  2. That's a great design and you've managed to cram so many details into it. I probably disagree with Gazumpty's comments about it being reminiscent of a simpler time - what you've got here is a complex, accurate, beautiful and functional MOC.
  3. I'm glad it worked out for you LukeWarmTea. Build on!
  4. Cross? Offset? How about over-lapping?
  5. Welcome to Eurobricks v6TransAM!
  6. Welcome to the forums elleana!
  7. Welcome Zurgo! Lego and Beer - what a great combination...
  8. Excellent! I like how you've used these Technic components to Town sized MOCs. They look really good.
  9. i'm guessing a series of overlapping 2 x n plates with a lot of 1 x 2 tiles.
  10. I don't think I've seen it before - looks good.
  11. Welcome to eurobricks!
  12. I love how you decided to sacrifice some interior space to build those coloured interior walls. That's a move that many would not think of or attempt, but that SNOT stripy wall in the cupcake shop just looks perfect as a result. The facade looks exactly how I would imagine it should be. And the color choice for the interior - especially the kitchen - is superb. Oh, and your daughters artwork is the perfect finishing touch to that bedroom. Excellent!
  13. Welcome Gunpowder! I lived in Essex for many years and still proudly wear my Southend United Football shirt - c'mon you Shrimpers!
  14. Welcome to the forums Jens!
  15. Excellent story! Welcome to Eurobricks.
  16. The lever? Press the top brick and the light turns on, wind the lever and the mirror turns around - just like a real lighthouse! Unfortunately I can't take credit for that particularly feature as it was in the original 5570 Creator set. Thanks everyone for the kind comments.
  17. I went of a bit of a building blitz - started and completed the Parisian Restaurant (fantastic set), started the Unimog (daunting task), destroyed one MOC and started another MOC for the Pirate competition. Eight hours of building and now it's time for a cup of tea...
  18. The front face and the interior are impressive, but I'm a huge fan of the rear of the building! I love the grime and the run down feel to it. Congratulations on such a successful inside corner.
  19. Welcome Doom2099.
  20. Welcome programmerdan! There was a thread in the forums about an English AFOL who did a PAB crawl by visiting as many Lego Stores as possible in the shortest possible time. It sounds like you could be off to a good start with 4 in 45 minutes.
  21. Welcome to the forums Patrick. The sets are so different from the ones from 20 years ago!
  22. Welcome Raf - there's some stunningly good images in your portfolio. Enjoy Eurobricks!
  23. An unusual subject for a MOC, but it's really well done and looks just like the original. Great job!
  24. Excellent look and feel to the Cab - that black and white SNOT checkerboard down the side is sweet. And it moves! Tip of the hat to you!
