I love it! The roof is so cleanly done and that tree...wow! I like the fact you've included a downpipe and a wall mounted AC unit at the back. It's that attention to detail that really sets this apart. The interior is choc-a-block full of lovely builds. Congratulations, that's a superb reworking of the classic set L@go!

Perfect timing! Saturday night is Zombie movie night at the eurotrash mansion and last nights movie was - of course - Shaun of the Dead. I'd seen images of Yatkuu's creation, but it's good to see it alongside the other Modulars and to get a builders perspective on the design. It does look good.

Offended? I can't speak for everyone, but heck no, it's AWESOME! I see Trucks like this - although never in Dark Green, but definitely with the KC lights on the roof - almost on a daily basis. I also like the Chevy logo on the grille. Nice job!

I like the mix of 4-wide and 5-wide you've used and that's an effective SNOT-based front end. It definitely looks like the Piaggio!

Stock Tank Swimming Pool Here's a quick build I did for my local LUGs one hour build competition. The theme was Swimming Pool, but to be honest here in rural Missouri we see just as many of these being used for splashing around as proper Pools so I had to build this. It's a Stock Tank used for watering cow herds and it's being hijacked by a hot and dusty Farmer to cool off in! Enjoy!

Simple and effective. I like the approach you've used for the engine block. Looks good!

Good looking design! I'm thinking that a civilian version with a pop up camper shell could be epic.

One of these sunny days I'll move all the builds outside, take pictures and post them here. I promise it'll be soon. I'm morphing the triple-decker Harry Potter purple Knight Bus into a 7-wide single decker Airport transit bus at the moment, but those colors are difficult to work with without it turning into something that looks like an eggplant with windows. Thanks for all the comments. They really are appreciated!

It's always good to see different buildings being submitted to this forum for consideration. This, niteangel, is very well executed. I like how you've described the form, function and design process and the end result is a striking example of modern architecture. The office equipment you've built are excellent, but it's the details you've included in the main building that I like the most. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into this. Congratulations!

I think this thread is a good idea. My only suggestion would be to lock older threads - maybe with the last comment being older than six months - so that they don't get resurrected by newbies or anyone really with comments like... 'Cool build!' and 'Can you send me Instructions?' Thanks admins for all that you do. -
Mind! Blown! Again! This is beautiful. The facade is understated and elegant and the color palette you've used is perfectly balanced. And as for the interiors - they are superb. The designs for the furniture and the attention to detail is fantastic. I'm running out of superlatives, but tip of the hat to you Snaillad. Excellent job!

That's a good looking facade and a very well executed interior you've built BrickyBoy! Thanks for sharing it with us!

Traditional Bus Station I've been on a rampage building Chicken Bus after Chicken Bus and I've finally got around to building a Bus Depot/Station for them. The building has been through several iterations and styles but I've finally got to a point where it had enough of a run down feel to it so that it would fit in with my economically depressed Lego City. Here's the main facade and of course it has broken windows, cracked stucco and exposed brickwork. There's a display on the roof - with another small scale Chicken Bus - just in case no-one realizes that it's a Bus Depot and I used some SNOT to build the circles in the facade. The view from the rear of the building. As I built the glass-curved roof structure it turned into something that looked like it came from a British Rail circa early-1990s design manual. And although it invoked painful memories of too many years commuting into London I decided to keep it. Loading time! And there's an interior with a waiting room, departure board and luggage lockers And a Bathroom area behind the wall with the arrow pointing the way. And a final image with yet another Chicken Bus I hope you enjoyed it! Comments, criticisms, and ridicule most welcome - now excuse me I have a bus to catch!

That's a good looking Chipolte you've built Hadokn! I like the details you've got in the interior and the facade is interestingly detailed without being over elaborate. Good job and thanks for sharing it with us.

It looks excellent! And the interior is stuffed full of nice details.

Bit of an old-school kick. Who: The Human League Track: The things that dreams are made of (Dub mix)

Those Modular sized Friends buildings are really very well done. But it's the Friends Bus that I like the most. Excellent!

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I just can't see the appeal of a Library, or to be honest even the Post Office. If the theory holds up then maybe a Police Station would be interesting, but I'm hoping for a Car Repair Shop. I guess we'll find out soon enough.... -
It looks good NPimenta! Is there an interior? Please keep us posted on its evolution into real brick.

The slide out and the interior are really well done, but for me it's the finishing details on the exterior that stands out - the retractable steps, the storage lockers and (especially) the approach you've used for the awning rock! My only observation might be the size of the wheels you're using - they do appear to stick out a bit from the arches, but otherwise top notch. p.s. I lived for two years in a Pace Arrow bumming around the US and I've always wanted to build a Lego version. Your version has inspired me to start. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Once you start building do you find it hard to stop?

There have been occasions when the red mist descends and I have to build and meals have been skipped. But the Dogs are always fed and watered, the wife kept happy and the chores done (albeit maybe deferred a bit). -
I'm looking at the images in this thread and there's some gorgeous looking vehicles that are lovingly maintained and cherished. But back in the real world ( ) here's what less than twenty thousand miles of Missouri dirt roads have done to my Truck. (Unsafe at any speed) So, four new tires at a cost of $820 now makes my Truck with a full tank of gas worth about $880.
