You should start "Mercedes Arocs improvements and modifications" thread. Or "Ultimate Mercedes Arocs". Or both

The site is blocked for me. Probably hosted on the same ip with some illegal stuff that was blocked.

But one can build one! Koenigsegg just wasn't an AFOL, otherwise... -

Which is all a matter of perspective. However this MOC should look good in 41999 colors. -

All of those are sport cars. Every super car is a sport car but not every sport car is a super car. -
[WIP] 2016 Ford GT Supercar
Omikron replied to Doc_Brown's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
At first I was like "Oh a new mclaren", but then I saw the back of the car and poof! "super car can't be half ugly, there must be more" and I saw the car name. I thought "that's interesting, why would they do that?". Then I realized that there was no US supercars before, US had some sport cars that could not turn but no super cars whatsoever so I thought "They must've made some more mistakes, not just the design" And BAM! - v6. I guess tomorrow they will announce that it is diesel. Really interested how they managed the gearbox and suspension though. Super car must meet some criteia you know to be considered a super car. Can't wait a Top Gear episode. -

[TC6] ESL 19-21 Side Loader
Omikron replied to efferman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I like how it looks now. I like how the parts were neatly positioned to work as a single mechanism while looking smooth and accurate with no excessive bits. -
If you can post them on google+ or any other place where I can download them then I can resize them and post here so everyone can see the progress

Looking better, but the door looks a bit weird. As if it is not a solid piece with all those angles.

[TC6] Fiat Panda Dakar
Omikron replied to piterx's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It's not about jealousy or the shock absorbers, because they are clearly more beautiful and in some ways better that TLG's. It's the concept of "modifying" that is questionable. I really want to see as many MOCs in this competition as possible and besides I love PANDAS. They are great, fluffy and stuff, they chew bamboo and know kung-fu. I'm a bit confused because I can't understand one thing. LEGO provides this part as single unit in all it's sets and it has official part number, so in order to get a part of this unit one must modify it by dismantling. Which is obvious. However if the unit was never assembled in the first place, one can get part/parts of which it consists and use them freely. But TLG doesn't officially sell spare parts, only complete units. So here comes the confusion. The unit must be dismantled by the 3rd party or it's spare parts must be supplied by the 3rd party. So what's the difference if unit was modified by me or by random guy from bricklink? Both violate rules. One may say "Me and the 3rd party never dismantled anything because the unit wasn't assembled in the first place" and I will agree but the rule is "All entries are to include only real LEGO. No clone brands, 3rd party parts, or digital entries allowed." And real LEGO part only comes as a single unit. In conclusion. There is a simple solution to avoid such debates in the future by adding one tiny modification in the rule. "All entries are to include only real LEGO. Bricklink parts of complete units are allowed. No clone brands, 3rd party parts, or digital entries allowed." I hope that this made my point of view a little bit clearer since it wasn't obvious enough for me what is allowed and what is not. Maybe because English language is not so strict on definitions of words? However, I WANT PANDA! -

We have so many cars in the hall of fame, we need some other MOCs like helicopters, boats, hovercrafts, walkers, tanks, planes, robots and so on. -
