  1. All the details and refrences to Batman lore really make this a stand out MOC. The quarter opening dollhouse design alone makes this a noteworthy work of art. Although the ground level Batcave would make it an impractical modular, it's just perfect for what you were trying to achieve here, I think. Together or seperate, people would pay a lot of money for something like this. I love it!
  2. Flash is in this MOC? All I see is a blur of color! Seriously though, This is a great depiction of comic book style utilizing the dynamic imagery one would see in the Flash's most heroic scenes. All the enemies are nice looking figs, too. They really compliment that wonderful Flash minifigure.
  3. I like how you made most of the characters, I can't seem to remember if anyone's missing. The models are superb in their level of detail. I can remember Greyskull being kind of lame as there was not much inside, but Snake Mountain was boss! Your depictions of the playsets far outshine the original ones. I would like to see something like this be made for retail.
  4. I love this show, too. The ship is really well done, and the kids' flightsuits are very accurate. Thank you for sharing this terrific model!
  5. Good idea. I like the wheels, especially.
  6. Yes, you're right. localized dialect often dictates pronounciation. That's why I said "sometimes adds an R". Try listening to a US congressional meeting sometime, it can be entertaining to say the least. You will hear distinct regional dialects and the accents are often quite pronounced. The represenatives from Texas sound completely different from the ones from Connecticut. The represenatives from West Virginia sound different from the ones from Minnesota, and they all sound different from each other. Yes, they are all English speaking Americans, but the accents vary all across the spectrum.
  7. This is a beautiful MOC, and that sail barge is just .
  8. This is amazing and huge, I love it. The only things I would add so far is more cables and conduit hanging along the perimeter. There should be some lights on the floor where the ship hangars are. I understand it's a WIP but this looks like a good start already and you should be very proud of it!
  9. 7: 3 9: 2 11: 1 17: 2 28:1 30:1 So many nice models here!
  10. I agree with this However, I also also would gladly pay for a premium membership. Maybe special tags or content for those members, and the others who would still like EB for free would still see all the ads (which aren't all that intrusive anyway). just M2C
  11. I regret years ago, leaving about twenty of the 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack on the rack. They were in the stocking stuffer section and on sale for only five dollars. I only bought five because I "didn't want to be greedy". I went back a day later and they were all gone forever.
  12. I totally agree with the pharmacy, especially if it has a soda counter. Why not a 1950s style soda shop, or hamburger stand? White Castle sounds like MOC territory, but that would sell like crazy if it were made into a set. A big bank with a vault in which we could have safe deposit boxes and stacks of gold and money. I'd also like to see a mercantile exchange with a busy trading floor. We probably will get a civic building like was mentioned before, I'm thinking a library with several rows of bookshelves.
  13. I love these vehicles, thanks for sharing!
  14. This is likely the last thing a CIS crew sees.
  15. Legolas poly: "Yay! I shot dat thing in dat hole. Yay!" Dumb, nice pieces though. I'm seriously considering getting four of the MEAs and using the parts to make a nice looking set of trees and a higher wall section.
  16. That pic of the new Royal guard makes it look like his head is all crazy huge! I do like the studio photo of him though. I want to know how I can get a big red snuggie to wrap him up in.
  17. That round tile with the hole is also in the new City sets, and we will probably see it in some of the Star Wars sets too. I really enjoyed this review, thanks for taking the time to do it! I also think the minifigs are the highlight of the set and we can't expext too much fortress if we want to keep the price relatively low and also have the nice new figs. TLG could have put some stupid orc hairpieces in here, though. That's really cheap.
  18. This made me LOL for real.
  19. I really like the roof and those red windows. The guy in the courtyard is doing Chinese Tai-Chi, but it also looks like he might be going after that dog. Run doggie! Seriously, this is a nice take on some traditional architecture. The pink cherry blossoms really do add that perfect bit of color, too.
  20. You guys both made great MODs! I'll post mine later.
  21. Love the colorscheme here. With the chrome gatling guns, this ship looks absolutely terrifying.
  22. These three made me lol ! The new Royal Guards are going to have a new weapon, so I'd like to see another joke with them if you please.
  23. I always say,"Nin-JAH-go", and I think anything else sounds weird. Often English speakers worldwide will add something from their own familiar lexicon or regional dialects. people from great Britain, Australia, and the New England region will sometimes add an "R" after a word or syllable that ends with "a". China becomes Chiner. Idea becomes idear. Ninja becomes Ninjar.
  24. This is still my first favorite Batmobile. It looks really good in that lime green, too. I have a soft spot for custom cars and this one is just wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing!
  25. I really like the engines and cockpit design. The brick outlines on the render gives a very nice Japanese manga effect. I love it!
